Feel bad for the kids growing up today who won’t know the feeling of seeing a video like “How we Do” for the first time on MTV and running to your computer to download the song on Kazaa.

Word!
@Brrrrr he acknowledged that in a way and this all the smoke and drink champs interview when he mentioned if he would’ve received the “Industry guidance“ early in his career things would’ve been very different on how he handled different situations that popped off in his career.
@Brrrrr yeah I definitely feel you on that. I guess he’s doing it for the clout and to get attention for his music, but like you said he’s too grown for that now. This method probably would’ve worked back when he first started out if he would’ve realized that it wasn’t any real street stufff it was just an industry play.
He was only legendary during the documentary days. With dre. He doesn't have that same energy and sound because of dre. When dre produces you can hear the artist pushing their pen harder. Like that gospel song he did with em. Em went off on it but put that same beat on and watch the talent show. Em is going to hand game his ass.

The Game is right about the "Renegade" track being a Royce da 5'9 and Eminem track. However, his argument about Jay NOT being able to get Em how he could've is wrong. Em only changed up minor portions of the chorus, adlibs to fit Jay and not Royce. Em's verses are still the same. So in this case, Jay actually came to it fresh. Meaning that Jay was listening to Em's verses already done. So Jay could've approached it how he wanted and actually had the time to approach this track fresh. Em's verses were just that good. Jay's verses were great but Em still had the better verse. The original with Royce is online for people to confirm that only minor tweaks occured from Em. So if anything, Jay should've been able to "top" Em if he could've. Em is just more technically sound. And this doesn't take away from Jay's Greatness, Legacy, etc to the community. Also, can we stop this narrative that black people don't play Em in the hood. We use to bump his album in Hawthorne, CA and Detroit, MI. I kind of believe the intent here is that the narrative is black people dont connect with Em's story because of what he says and how he grew up. That's fine but the whole "we dont bump Em in the hood" is a bit false. Atleast applying it for all "hoods". This is a great interview by the Game! A true Legend!
this is a facts... em really didn't change much of renegade.. so jay had the upper hand but jay couldn't capitalize.. for the record, royce had the better verse.
It’s the Wack 100 affect. They’re all about rewriting the narrative. Who cares if it were correct though, back then Em went into every verse like he wanted to win. They trying to say it wasn’t fair for Jay. They’re crooks and messy.
@@freakynasty101 meh he bited Em flow on deadwrong
Jayceon Taylor seems like a good cool guy, I'm not too sure about this Game guy😂💯🇯🇲🌴
The art is so far away from the person l, I just wish he would take accountability from some of the things and dramas from his career. That being said Documentary was a classic , game found his sound and with all the drama in the industry he still held his own and that needs to be commended

This was an awesome interview!!!!!
The Game is a phenomenal artist first and foremost. This guy has never put out a bad album & what I appreciate about him the most is that fact that’s he’s always honest. If The Game had a “Go along Get alone” personality he would be on a Snoop, Jay, Wayne level in respect to fame & popularity. With that being said, his music speaks for itself. damn let a brother get one of them packs on that table tho 😂🤣
Eminem proved time and time that he's one of the GOATs from the day he landed in the mainstream and before that he was one of the kings of the underground.
This guy suddenly after 17 years feels he's the best BUT sadly never showed it😂😂
Eminem isn't as good as he once was that's what he was meaning, ems discography in his first 10 years compared to his last 10 years proves this. On the other side Game has arguably 2 albums in the last 10 years that are up there with his best.
@@jackcees859 uh em last few albums went platinum uh
@@jackcees859 That may be true but Eminem has 3 albums that not only were his best work but lasted throughout time as some of the hottest underground rap records ever recorded as well as he has the sales figures to back this up just like 50 Cent's first two albums as well as Eminem Show and "GRODT" and "Massacre" as far as the highest first week sales of any rap records in history. The Game has "The Documentary" yes, it's a good record, but it's not on the same level of impact or as memorable as Eminem's first 3 bodies of work. Even some of Encore despite being more mid than anything, still has some songs on it that made it still somewhat successful and still remembered but not like the first 3 compared to the Games 1 album, which was his debut album.
Plus I don't believe that "Em don't have any club hits or people listening to him on the streets" because that's BS. He clearly hasn't heard "Shake That, Ass Like That, or Superman" as 3 good examples of records that were able to get some actual radio play because of how they were. And people still listen to it today.
As far as street shit, his first and second album is perfect for that. More so the stuff he did with Dr Dre on "2001" like the song "What's The Difference" cuz his verse went CRAZY on there. That, or for example "Scary Movie" where him and Royce go crazy on the beat for the soundtrack to the name of the song from the movie it was featured on. So that's also a lie.
@@raytheshadowmonarch 6ix9ine Has went platinum, Whats your point. Platinum albums doesn't mean it's actually a great body of work lol

I respect your opinion bro but cmon, the same coast as Pac, Kendrick, Snoop, Cube n dem and games the best.
