When I first watched the movie, my reaction skewed toward "meh, it's ok...nothing great". But....the music has stuck with me. I wanted to hear it again...and the more I listened, the more I liked it. It's an insidious movie. Without realizing it, it can creep into your heart. So many great songs!
I’m 4 years late and just saw this movie last night. I had no idea who Zac Efron was and only knew Hugh Jackman from Wolverine. I’m shook and honestly shocked at how talented these two guys are, and the lady who sang This Is Me stole the show! And when Hugh cried I broke down. Absolutely amazing performances all around!
Seen this movie 4-5 times including the sing along. This amazing movie carries such a great message! This movie is definitely my favorite movie. You never get tired of it and the feels still come. Great acting, great message, amazing talent, choreography is so GOOD. EVERYTHING IS PERFECT

I wonder if Zac and Zendaya really actually did kind of fall in love with each other while in the making of this movie. During production of it and whatnot. Kind of like when Zac and Vanessa seemed to fall in love at first site when they first interacted and met on the set of all the way back during the beginning portion of productions for the very first #HighSchoolMusical movies. Zac and Zendaya have both done work both for and with The Disney Channel before. Their first names, as we all know them anyways as fans and others and whatnot know of them... they both begin with the letter "Z"... They seemed to have some pretty good chemistry. And harmonized well with their voices in the songs they sang and performed together in this film / musical / movie / theatrical release.

Especially the one that stood out the most to me was the heavier-set girl with the beard and that perfectly-fitting purple costume / dress!!! I forget the character's name at the top of my head though, I apologize ahead of time for that one.
