When I first watched the movie, my reaction skewed toward "meh, it's ok...nothing great". But....the music has stuck with me. I wanted to hear it again...and the more I listened, the more I liked it. It's an insidious movie. Without realizing it, it can creep into your heart. So many great songs!

I’m 4 years late and just saw this movie last night. I had no idea who Zac Efron was and only knew Hugh Jackman from Wolverine. I’m shook and honestly shocked at how talented these two guys are, and the lady who sang This Is Me stole the show! And when Hugh cried I broke down. Absolutely amazing performances all around!

Seen this movie 4-5 times including the sing along. This amazing movie carries such a great message! This movie is definitely my favorite movie. You never get tired of it and the feels still come. Great acting, great message, amazing talent, choreography is so GOOD. EVERYTHING IS PERFECT

Um, comparing a fictionalized account of a real person to movies based on a fantasy book is apples to oranges. Compare it to Rocketman or Bohemian Rhapsody...even Titanic for a valid comparison.
What I would give to have been able to just be behind the scenes for the whole duration of filming. To watch the magic unfold and enjoy the atmosphere of just being around all of these creative people. It must've been amazing for the cast and crew!

Daniel 720 if you cannot get over it, then it's obvious that this technically means that this masterpiece of a movie and musical actually really does mean something to you. That's just my opinion at the very least, anyways.

Especially when it makes us have reactions, emotions, feelings, thoughts and the whole shebang that Human Beings tend to just naturally carry along with us, and yes even sometimes without us even noticing it
This is such an inspirational movie celebrating diversity. The people who dislike it are missing the "smile" part of life. How thankful for the majority of the world, we are uplifted leaving the theatre only to return again and again to relive the joyful spirit of the performances. Our immune systems are thankful!

We are in-love with this movie and especially the soundtrack. It is such an inspirational movie, perfect soundtrack to listen to on the way to work! Haha
I love love this musical. I have to admit I recently just watched it all the way through and I watched it twice after again and again. If you have love of music and dance u will love this movie. It speaks from the heart and u feel every word and song to through every bone in your body. Bravo on making an amazing musical and great choice on actors and actresses you guys really out done yourself and I'm hooked.

Why do I feel like it’s fake, I’m NOT saying it’s fake I just feel like it is
I wonder if Zac and Zendaya really actually did kind of fall in love with each other while in the making of this movie. During production of it and whatnot. Kind of like when Zac and Vanessa seemed to fall in love at first site when they first interacted and met on the set of all the way back during the beginning portion of productions for the very first #HighSchoolMusical movies.
Zac and Zendaya have both done work both for and with The Disney Channel before. Their first names, as we all know them anyways as fans and others and whatnot know of them... they both begin with the letter "Z"... They seemed to have some pretty good chemistry. And harmonized well with their voices in the songs they sang and performed together in this film / musical / movie / theatrical release.
What i see in this movie is so luch passion. This movie made with love from all the cast and people who help to make it.

Anybody else get emotional when the ones that didn't have much belief in themselves because of how they looked, all banded together and went out and enjoyed performing and were all really great and amazing at it too? Especially the one that stood out the most to me was the heavier-set girl with the beard and that perfectly-fitting purple costume / dress!!! I forget the character's name at the top of my head though, I apologize ahead of time for that one.

This would be a perfect theatrical musical piece for places like Broadway... The writers and creators and producers of this masterpiece of a film / movie / musical / story as a whole... Are just all pure genius! :-)
Boy did I enjoy this new set of clips (I didn't see Bloopers) ... but it just took this movie that I love and showed a greater indepth understanding of what it took to create such a masterpiece. I am hooked ... have DVD and CD as well as enjoy the youtube videos. I LOVE RUclips!!!

Here’s irony-In the movie the critics panned Barnum show but it was a huge hit. The Greatest Showman did not make the critics give it a ton of stars/thumbs up, yet how many weeks was the soundtrack #1??? Sorry critics, we don’t listen to you and your biased, preconceived opinions. We just love feeling good inside for 2 hours. Thank you cast/crew/writers for sharing your joy and for helping us COME ALIVE🤩.
