I don't know if you have that for DDR4 RAM, at least not for the 2133MHz, on this motherboard where you cannot OC the RAM. Mine ran at that speed automatically, without having to switch anything.

Mohamad Naim I I would have your tight budget I would go for an i3 6100 and GTX 1060 3GB from ASUS. I promise you'll get better fps in any game with that. FOr the ram just get a 2133MHz 8GB single stick from Crucial. It's green an no one will care you have it back with a radiator you won't take advantage from in any way, not to mention the 2400MHz make no sense on a mobo that cannot OC the ram. Trust me and you will not regret it.
too bad im already buy all of them except for the ram.. im buy i5 6400 cuz it have bang for the buck between 3d working software and gaming software.. $65 yeah i know but Quad core now demanded in many 3d working editing software and so as gaming.. im lowered the gpu to 1050 ti cuz im only got 1080p monitor.. and im only play e-sport gaming.. i think they would be just perfect at ultra setting @1080p60hz.. so as for that.. im searching for final answer for the RAM.. that why im looking for your channel..
Mohamad Naim In that case for 3g editing yes, the i3 would be a bad call. For the editing you need much ram as well, but you will only be able to use 2133 ram on that mobo. get the Crucial 8 GB 2133 single stick then you can ad one more later, if you are on a budget. it is really great. i used to overspend on high profile ram Corsair Vengeance and it did to me nothing extra. It's your choice.

Boot/Boot Option Priorities? Select Boot Option #1 The DVD-Drive. See it at 7:37. Save and Exit. Have the DVD Windows inserted and restart the PC. It will Boot from it.

You have basically the same pc as i have, i3-6100, H110M-K. The only difference is that i use 8 gigs of Kingston Fury X not crucial.

I guess you need to set it up in the boot section to have the USB drive as the priority. I really can't tell because I never used a bootable USB drive. You need to make one first then restart the PC with the USB drive as a priority, so it'll check the file on the USB and start the installation automatically.

I translate it. You cannot overclock the CPU on this mobo. I wasn't aware you could OC even the RAM

On this mobo you'll have the RAM opperate only at 2133MHz. If you want it @ 2400, then you need to get at least a B250M motherboard.

Can you overclock a 6600k on this motherboard? I know a Z170 is advised, but my friend wants to build a prebuilt that comes with this and a 6600k and a Arctic Freezer CPU cooler.
No you cannot. You'll need a Z170. This motherboard, even if it could, would have issues with stability caused by the heat from the OC. that's why Z170 usually have heat spreaders on the NorthBridge, especially.

Yes. It's always goo to have it up to date on everything. With the new BIOS 3016 you'll be able to use all the Kaby Lake cpu's on it, the 7th Gen ones.

You can't overclock on the H chipset. Only on Z ones
Hey i've got a question, I've exactly the same motherboard ( the asus h110m-k ) and same bios but i wanna know something for sure cuz its really confusing me out, in the official site its says its up to 2100Mhz maximum frequency for rams and as u you can see, its shows more than that in the configuration so if im going to upgrade to 18gb G.Skill or Corsair 3600 or 3200 Mhz is it gonna work though ??

Using a h110m-e m.2 with a i5 7600k, can I not overclock on this motherboard? I already found the overclock options just haven't changed anything yet. I dont see why I couldnt do a overclock.
Feel free to do whatever you want. Still, if you decide to do some overclocking with it, although I don't think it's possible to OC on a H110 chipset, please give us feed-back if the motherboard starts to smell funny :).

The one you mentioned has the exact same settings. If you buy that one it'll also support the M.2 SSD's

I did not overclock my cpu at all. It sits at the stock frequency of 3.7. If you would try that overclocking on any cpu, with a stock heat-sink, you would literally fry it out, or it wouldn't work. It would simply crash. I am keeping mine at stock settings, with the stock Intel cooler, all the way.

E foarte simplu sa faci upgrade acum iar computerele au devenit foarte accesibile daca nu vrei din ala YOLO :)) Asta e vechi clipul insa m-am distrat tare cu procesorul ala micut care avea doar 2 nuclee fizice si 4 virtuale. I-am lasat pe toti masca cu peformantele in 4K fiindca aveam o placa video puternica pentru timpul ala, GTX 1070 tot de la MSI. Insa consuma de rupea. Aveam si o sursa ieftina. Credeam ca e de-ajuns sa duca placa video sia tat, nu puneam importanta pe protectii si ratingul eficientei.

I use a Samsung 850 EVO SSD and it detected it automatically, It runs on AHCI mode by itself I quess. So would be the case if you have a HDD for the SATA.

How do you reset the bios on this motherboard? because I made a mistake when connecting my gpu, I connected to the onboard graphics first and that didn't allow my pc to detect my gpu. Help
Simply remove the battery of the motherboard and then put it back, after about 10 seconds. That will reset the BIOS.

Make sure you enter the BIOS in the BOOT section and set there the DVD-RW or the optical drive that you are inserting the Windows 10 into, and make it as your no.1 priority in boot. Then insert the Windows disk and simply restart the PC. It should start installing it auto.

It works perfectly fine. i had no problems what so ever. And the DDR4 ram is blazing fast.

If you will use a adapter, you can hook up in a daisy chain as many fans as you want. Otherwise I think you can hook up directly just 1 fan, aside from the CPU fan.

I don't know if your ram works at 2400Mhz that's all. But you can try it. Just know that the latency will increase from CL15 to CL17. I'd leave it at 2133Mhz.

Hi, thank you for the video, I have a build with asus prime b450-plus MOBO, we have the same uefi, I installed windows 10 pro on it.
My problem is that I can't access bios, after turning on my pc I have a black screen(HDMI) with not connected message, after few seconds I will have my windows logon screen and I can log with no pbm.
I tried the good keys (F2 & DEL), tried to access the uefi from windows (the fast boot is off) , tried to clear the cmos by removing the battery, connecting the CLRTC pins, I used ps/2 and usb keyboard and still not working.
I will be very grateful if you have something that can help me.

I solved my problem, it was caused by the freesync that was activated on my screen. I tuned off the synchronization om my monitor and I was able to access to my UEFI.

You can do it without a problem of loosing any files. The only thing that would worry me is if the motherboard doesn't have a newer BIOS version, like at least v.2003, If it has an older BIOS version like 18xx then the mobo will not recognize the Kaby Lake i5 7400. But if you buy the mobo with a BIOS version that supports the Kaby Lake cpu's, then you'll have not problems what so ever.

Just reset the BIOS settings to default and you should not have that problem. i never encountered or heard of such a thing and i don't see the relation between that cool temperature and the motherboard. My RTX 2070 Super goes up to 74 Celsius when I play and my PC doesn't make a sound :))

No. only with Z170 or Z270 mobos. Still you have a very nice mobo right there, with the M.2 SSD support. Invest in such a device, instead of wasting your money for OC parts, which can fry your CPU eventually.

The turbo boost activates itself in applucation or games, when needed. So your cpu will reach 4.1 GHz during usage on 2 of the 4 cores. But otherwise it'll always be rated at it's stock base speed of 3.7GHz. So don't worry. It get's there :) All the best!

Certifique-se de clicar em aplicar depois de definir a velocidade. Eu costumava ter alguns problemas com essa placa-mãe. O ventilador da CPU estava funcionando na velocidade máxima após a calibração. É uma placa de ceap e o software tem alguns erros. Eu realmente sinto muito pelo seu problema, mas é muito difícil para mim descobrir como você pode resolvê-lo assim.

how to install the OS without using the dvd-rw
I guess you'll have to use a bootable USB. try to look on the web for how to do that. ALso make sure you will insert the flash drive into a USB connector that is available for use. Most probably you won't be able to use the USB 3.0 ports before installing the drivers.

Should be in the peripherals or in the last menu there. But once you connect and ssd is on AHCI mode by default

You should not have any problems in using your ssd. I remember I had none. The mobo is very cheap, maybe that's why. but otherwise it was awesome even for 4k60fps gaming.
How much does it take your pc to boot since you press the power buton until its usable? mine needs 20 secs i have the same motherboard
I guess somewhere around 12-14 seconds, due to the ssd. It take very little time really. But the boot times vary depending on the programs and settings you have on your PC.

You can upgrade to 7700k max, but you can't OC on this motherboard.
As stated. on this motherboard you cannot overclock. But cosidering you could put up to an i7 7700k on it, you would really not need to ocerclock anyway :D. lso see that the K cpu's from Kaby Lake intel have reported really bad temps when OC ing, because they already operate at a very high clock speed. 4.5GHz in the case of the i7. This motherboard is suitable for budget builds, which exclude overclocking, a very demanding and expensive thing to do, with little improvements in actual gaming.

I think it detects auto the SSD for the AHCI mode. Regarding the RAID setup, this motherboard does not support it. Only H170 and Z170 chipset motherboards have that option.
Because i installed the h110 m-a d3 with an i5 6500 and my OS was the 10 but the pc installed Windows 8 6.2 9200 and when i want to install Windows 10 again the setup shows me this: Windows can not be installed because your PC has a design not compatible disc with UEFI firmware. (sorry for bad english)

i enter in ez flash and i have the lastest version, and i cant put the cd drivers because the cd does not support the OS only 7, 8.1 and 10.

It does not allow Win7 to startup with a SSD, I need to change it to IDE as it will not work in AHCI unfortunately the shitty bios does not allow you to change it so i am stuck, even after bios flash.

wow...interesting...aguess all of these cheap MOBOs have some issues, no matter what the brand is...I have MSI H110M pro VD and it came physically damaged on top right side, so i was looking for replacement...to pity that MSI did some sloppy work there...that anti surge protection might have something to do with the BIOS, did you tryed to update it?
JanoSBo The BIOS was updated to last version. There isn't nothing wrong with the motherboard, just that when gaming in 4K there will be more power draw and it probably acted "overprotective" without needing to. That's all. the mobo itself works perfectly fine.
