Such a great arc. K/Joe didn’t want to be just “another replicant”, he wanted to be something more, so it was devastating to see him learn he wasn’t the child of Rick. But reflecting on the events that happened throughout the movie (like you quoted), Joe did the most human thing to do, and saved Rick to help him reunite with his child. At the conclusion of the movie, Joe ended up becoming a lot more than just “another replicant”. Despite being a replicant, Joe proved he was more human than a lot of humans, and that’s why I love his arc and his character. He died as a hero and showed his true humanity, he died in a way that he’d want to. It’s just so deep and poetic :)
@@Howlingburd19 there’s a beautiful message in his arc, based on the “pale fire” novel which is K’s favorite book:) I think the moral is that to have a soul, you just have to believe you have one. I hope K died in peace knowing that, in the end, he was human in all the ways that matter.
The remake of "Tears in Rain" at the end of Blade Runner 2049 was beautiful, and perfectly poignant, but this is amazing. I just had a Ryan Gosling movie night; I watched Drive, and then re-watched Blade Runner 2049. And this song fits 2049 even better than it fits Drive, by a long shot in my opinion. By the end of 2049, K has found his humanity. "The most human thing to do is die for something you believe in". K did just that. You have proven to be a real hero and a real human being, K. Rest in peace.
K and Roy Batty have something in common: saving Deckard’s life. The only difference is: that Roy was chasing Deckard while K was searching for Deckard because he had his daughter’s memories artificially implanted in his head. Roy wanted to show Deckard what it was like to be a slave - to live in constant fear and afraid of dying. He saved Deckard’s life to demonstrate that he understood the value of life, and what it meant to be “good”, better than Deckard, the supposed protagonist of the story. K saves Deckard's life because he finally understood how human emotions are. And how it feels to be abandoned by a parental figure and how to experience loss. Even though he’s just a replicant, he’s lonely. So finding Deckard and reuniting him with his daughter was his redemption. He changes because the daughter is something of a miracle. A human-replicate hybrid that never existed before. He feels her memories, her feelings and the ongoing wish of trying to figure out who her parents are. K becomes the selfless hero of the story. and even though his story may be over I believe we the audience experienced the purpose K was looking for the entire time.
Both of them wanted to be more than just a “regular Replicant”, they wanted to be something more, and they wanted to be remembered. Both of them did just that. It’s very deep and poetic. Total masterpieces!

A Real Hero defines the Benevolent Soul of K. Expressing his spiritual journey to discover the truth and protecting Deckard so he can meet his Daughter. K discover that he is A Real Human Being and A Real Hero.
This song actually goes very well with this movie considering that K may be the hero but he isn’t a real human being but he’s trying his best to be human himself, funnies.
Ryan Gosling as Kamandi in my story for the last boy on Earth maybe in a cartoon or live action. Reason why is because so many women love Ryan Gosling. Maybe have Karl Urban as General Zod. Because this is where the time has come for Superman and Batman to step away from the spotlight for a while but they are involved in this movie just not the main characters anymore. For those who don't know who Kamandi is, he is a character created through the inspiration of Planet of the Apes and was artistically created by Jack Kirby. I'm also thinking about Harrison Ford as Buddy Blank aka One Man Army Corps or OMAC who is Kamandis grandfather and was once part of the Justice League before the Great Disaster.
:/ it’s more sad when urealize Niander Wallace jr wasn’t defeated only minor inconvenienced & will eventually track the replicant child & k died for nothing
Dying for the right cause is the most human thing we can do.

I just though of that, him feeling the snow flakes, there's no one to tell. "Saved" Deckard again? Time to die. Just a great parallel.

Roy : gave meaning to Deckard's life.
K : gave meaning to Deckard's family.

Ironic
In believing he was just "another"
He performed an action more human and unique than any other
You’re right, and that’s why his arc is so freaking amazing!
It turns out the robot, was the most human of all.
Thanks for this, bro. Honestly, blade runner 2049 is just another drive, and I'm completely okay with that.

I'll see you in Space, Cowboy.
More humans than humans

The first thing I thought when I watched the ending was that it ended just like Drive lol
A real human bean
So very, very good of you to make this. It's excellent.

Vast improvement.

Thank you for this.
Ryan Gosling does amazing in Drive and Blade Runner. Its hard to pick which one is the better movie.
Blade runner 2049 is way better, whaat??
Blade Runner 2049 easily tbh
I love this song. Great movie you paired it with.
Hope you are all happy. U took everything.
Strange. This song was also used in, Drive, also starring Ryan Gosling.
Yes it was made for that movie
Queria ser igual Esse cara ele passa uma vibe muito boa

This song was used for Goslings Driver. The 2nd time he was a real hero
Magnifique thanks you
Starting to think that Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049 was the inspiration that led to the creation of cyberpunk 2077.
Really? Blade Runner? The most influential cyberpunk movie ever made influenced Cyberpunk 2077? You really think so? Are you certain lmfao?
Also the 2012 Dredd remake, as the cyberpunk 2077 team literally hired the same musician to make the soundtracks.
Песня из "Драйва", но к картинке тоже подходит

Да не умер он в конце бегущего по лезвию!!!
если судить по морганию, то умер. но если актёр согласится сниматся в следующем фильме то может так получится что он выжел
