In the scene with Morinaga seemingly telling Kiryu about Mayumi, he didn't say '...just so you know'. If you look, just as Morinaga leans in to tell Kiryu, he nods in a particularly knowing way. Morinaga then leans back and says 'So you know...Well then, goodnight.' Kiryu already knows, or at least had an inkling, but we're up to interpret what the mystery is until the plot unravels
*Important Notes:* Mack’s backo! So as you heard from him, you now have access to revelations but not just cutscenes versions, also weapon revelations. Cutscene revelations are your standard of revelations you come to know since Y3 so I would like to focus on Weapon Revelations. Each character usually has 3 weapon revelations which are _*only built up by using said weapon multiple times on enemies until it triggers an “AH HA” moment where a visual cut in will appear, signaling that you succeeded. These are *NOT* heat actions, they are fact brand new _unique_ heavy attacks (Triangle) for the specific weapon that you can use. A lot of these new moves are quite hilarious and honestly bring a freshness to the revelations mechanic imo so I urge you to get all of these with the cutscene revelations. Each weapon revelation has different hidden exp gauges to fill so one may take a white or you might get it instantly. *The fastest way to grind them is to **_hold L2/LT_** and Triangle* with them in hand so you don’t _accidentally break them too early._ This is bez Heavy attacks trigger them more easily. I believe it's easier for you to know what they are and how to find them. For Kiryu: 1. Blue Plastic buckets (All around Nagasugai) 2. Portable Stove (In the parking Lot east of Motsunbe, so trigger a fight there) 3. Pilers (There is one north of the intersection between Nagasu Blvd. & Modern St. near the trash.) Remember, heavy attacks to gain them quick.
*General Notes:* Kamiyama is back! The weapon crafting system has changed a bit tho so let me point out a few things. Any materials/weapons that you may get at certain points of the game can be invested *_once_* to unlock more weapons to craft than to use them directly. *There is no point to keep materials that are ONLY for investing.* *However, there are materials outside of that which you DON’T WANT TO INVEST.* To save you the trouble, *don’t invest:* Modified Lighter Any Mystery Stones after investing the 1st one (These are rare.) Konpeito These items follow the previous weapon crafting system part where it's automatically consumed to make the weapon, not unlock it. But there’s a huge tip you *wanna* know about them. Mystery stones are used to make multiple Dragon related weapons, *but you can **_use_** only one in total if you were to craft them all in one go and ONLY have one mystery stone in your inventory.* (The grind is not good so abuse it) It is a massive pain in the neck to grind *but I urge you to max out Kamiyama’s shop level to 10.* Thing is, you will WANT it maxed later down the line, keep in mind.
41:08 Kiryu nodded at Morinaga showing he already knows Mayumi’s supposed secret. This is why he said “So you know” because Kiryu had already figured it out.
0:53 I thought the point he left was because the kids wanted to quit school and work to help earn money to help Haruka become an idol - in order to stop them throwing their futures away Kiryu left.
41:32 No Nico, he said "she's" and than looked at Kiryu and understood that he already knows that, what he wanted to say. so that's why he didnt say anything. EDIT: 42:30 yes.
I think at this point in the story there is a certain gameplay mechanic you can run into by getting into street fights with people that wear white karate looking outfits that I don’t think you’ve run into yet. I recommend checking that out soon.
Food boosts only show what they give on dishes you've already eaten. If you haven't eaten something at a restaurant before, you won't know what boost it gives.
Yeah, he figured that out near the end of tvbe episode. Sadly this batch of episodes is pre-recorded since Nico's at EVO, so any feedback we give him will have to wait until he's back next week
Kiryu: I'm living with a woman I hardly know, and for some reason she is insistent on caring for and pampering me no matter what I say to her. Juro Kurabe: Damn, first time?
The fact Kiryu's first thought is to test whether or not this woman would actually laugh at the drop of a chopstick is too funny. Edit: To kind of explain the scene with Haruka without saying anything that hasn't been revealed yet. Basically, Haruka wants to become an idol, and everyone at Morning Glory wants Haruka to fulfill that dream. Some of the kids want to drop out of school to help support her, financially. This means they'd be robbing themselves of their education. Obviously Kiryu and Haruka don't want that. Now comes this Park person. Park says they are willing to help Haruka become an idol and help finance the orphanage. With this, the kids don't need to leave school. The only this is, Kiryu needs to go. Park said basically, "I'll take care of everything, but YOU Kiryu, specifically you, need to go". Now ask yourself, why would they say that...
And he almost made 1 more appearance in Like A Dragon Ishin Kiwami but was removed. He would only be there to introduce Photo Mode by showing Ryoma a 1800s camera.
13:27 - I actually check back on this option and if you choose "Check please', Kiyokawa is shock to hear that answer while Ishimori is pissed where Kiryu just wanted to shoo them away. And this is why Kiryu's single.

I'm pretty sure Morinaga saw Kiryu's expression as he mentioned Mayumi and just realized Kiryu already knew what he was about to say, so he didn't need to tell Kiryu what he already knew. He might've even thought it was rude of him to assume Kiryu wouldn't know in the first place, so better to just stop talking
There's one down side to the game structure similar to Yakuza 4. And it's that the games finally opening up part way into chapter 3, but once Kiryu's section ends, the next character is going to take time to get to this same level of availability again. But this time even longer. That said it doesn't really bother me too much.

Just randomly wanted to recommend Shibuya Scramble for an LP. It's been a hot minute since you did a mystery VN and Scramble is pretty unique. It uses actual actors and photographs instead of drawings, causing the game to often be very goofy (think if stockphoto energy for someone having to scream in a single photograph), no voice acting. I don't think I should reveal the main gimmick but, it has a bunch of decisions in a plot where you go back and forth between multiple characters to have their stories intertwine, which was something I think you liked with 13 Sentinels.
