Also awesome you visited downtown, that church is Greek and they have the Greek festival there every year, which is actually coming up in a few weeks. Further down High street is Short North which is a cool area and then a few more miles is OSU campus. You passed German village which is a really neat area of Cbus. Next time check out the Scioto Mile which now ranks one of the best river walks in the US. It's stunning!

Hey ,there's a restaurant in Jacksonville, IL. I remember how good the food was back in the day here in Spfld, IL It went out of business long time ago. t
I live in Columbus and I'm so lucky to have this Ponderosa here. I still love going there for their buffet. Tasty stuff! It's too bad that Ponderosa restaurants are so few anymore. They should be much bigger than they are today.
The MacDaddy burger with the cheese balls looked so good and so did the hangover burger. The noodles also looked delicious. Thanks so much for covering this Ponderosa. We filmed at a Ponderosa in Hillsboro, Ohio back in December. We hope to see Ponderosa one day make a comeback. They sure do have some great food. We enjoyed y'all's video. Go BUCKEYES!!!

Columbus Ohio is also the home of the last remaining York Steak House on the West side of town. Name another city that has both Ponderosa and York. I'll wait. 😀

Ponderosa brings back memories for me of the 1980's and being a young kid. I used to love their dinner rolls, I couldn't get enough of them lol.

My childhood right there.
I miss Bonanza, Sizzler, Ponderosa. The streaks weren't so great but hey, at least they were steaks! And the buffet was always pretty fresh too.
