Nature in Lagos, a group tour to LUFASI NATURE PARK

LUFASI is an acronym for Lekki Urban Forestry and Animal Shelter Initiative: a non-governmental organisation established in 2014 by Desmond Majekodunmi and began full operation in November 2016. Lufasi park is dedicated to the preservation of natural habitats in urban areas. The park can also be used as a field laboratory for learning and interaction with nature. One of it core aim in this world of carbon pollution is to address the issue of limited green spaces in urban areas and in this case Lagos state Nigeria. In addition, lufasi park can be used for wedding receptions, music video shoot, camping... as well as many other social activities The shelter for rescued animals (wild and domestic) serves to educate the general public on the need for conservation and protection of endangered species.
