    Happy shopping!! I know a lot of you wait for the savings event to buy products from Sephora, so I picked out my favorite products from their best-sellers list to help you narrow it down. Also a note, I HAVE NO ISSUE WITH FRAGRANCE. I have never had an issue with it, I recommend products with it, and I only tell people they should avoid it if they have sensitive skin or a known allergy to it. If you don’t, it’s fine! You might be blending my thoughts with thoughts of others. Thanks!

      In regard to your issues with iron....have you gotten an iron infusion? I had the same issue during pregnancy and then after labour (thanks to a big hemmorhage). Got a blood transfusion after that but my iron levels were still abysmal. Iron supplements didn't work on me at all. My body just wasn't absorbing it quick enough. Then I got an iron infusion and within a couple of days I felt amazing. Serum iron results are back up to good levels. I will just need an infusion pretty much every year. Good luck!

      I did the same. I literally bought 2 items from Sephora which was the Ordinary toner to help with exfoliating/BO of my underarms and a cleanser that my skin loves from Olehenriksen that cost $34 full size for acne breakouts and oil control. Otherwise most of my skincare products are K-Beauty from brands such as I’m From, By Wishtrend, Dear Klairs etc. Those brands are sooo much better and way more affordable!

    I know Susan has said she doesn’t think fragrance is a big deal in skincare, which makes sense because she has said before her own skin is resilient. But. I really wish she would disclose which products she recommends does has fragrance, because I have sensitive skin and I’m sure a lot of her viewers have sensitive skin and we should be aware so we can be informed consumers. Not a critique, I know fragrance isn’t an issue for some skin types, but just a little disclosure for those of us who can’t risk it would be nice.

    For the sake of clarity :) : The Inkey List is getting a bit sneaky (?) with the ingredients list for their Retinol- this "1% RetiStar stabilised Retinol" (NEW labelling) is really equivallent to 0.5% retinol, and yes, also contains HPR aka Granactive Retinoid (Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate) at, I believe, 0.5%. It seems as though they are insinuating it is full 1% retinol, which it isn't; it is much more gentle than a 1% and not just because it may be slow-released. A great starter retinol! Absolutely love, love their products though and not saying this isn't a great product, especially their Beta Hydroxy Acid and Lactic Acid.

    You had said eye creams are not necessary in skincare, you're recommending it now?

      She has also said that she likes to use eye creams in the morning as a base for her concealer(she has said this multiple times) just because it’s not necessary doesn’t mean you can’t use it or enjoy it. Using eye creams isn’t a bad thing and as long as there are good ingredients it will only benefit you. The same thing can be said about essence and toners, Susan has said they’re are also not necessary but she like to use them anyway.

      I love Dr. Dray but she's not adventurous enough with products for me personally. She's very well suited for sensitive skin types that often see a dermatologist and need to be careful though.

    • @NicePerson58
      @NicePerson58 3 года назад +2

      @@JamieNotLamie Dr Dray's skin is much more smooth and radiant than Susan's. Susan's job is to review as many products as she can to boost her youtube channel. That's the risk of being a reviewer, sacrificing your thing.

    • @JamieNotLamie
      @JamieNotLamie 3 года назад

      @@NicePerson58 true, I definitely agree with that, but then again I don't watch Susan much, I mostly stick with Cassandra Bankson or lab muffin Beauty Science because I noticed Susan recommends something different every time. Probably because of her "influencer" status. I do love me some dr. Dray but I wish she would remember that not everyone is sensitive.

      @@JamieNotLamie love them too. I want to point out that eventhough you're not as sensitive to fragrance as the others are, it's beneficial to keep your routine minimal & efficient. It exacerbate irritation if you put too much active ingredients on your face.

    Hi Susan. I am using the Retinol from ink list. Would you recommend me a good thick and affordable moisturizer to apply afterwards. I am using Purito centella Unscented but I feel isn’t thick enough.

    HELP!!! Susan,I would LOVE to watch a video talking about what kind of productos are safe for teenagers,my daughter is 12 ,and she have a lot of blackheads on the forehead hairline,nose ,she needs help but I am afraid to damage her skin !

    • @butwhyalyssa
      @butwhyalyssa 3 года назад +1

      What most people think are blackheads, are really sebaceous filaments. But regardless, a BHA (salicylic acid) will help clear the skin. Paula's Choice has a 2% BHA liquid. Try that if you can. Other than that just make sure your daughter cleanses and moisturises. Nothing with actives or anything. Just keep it simple. She's still young, she doesn't need things like AHA'S, vitamin c and retinoids.

    • @mariacarrillo6580
