Wow! Congratulations on your quantum leap in views and subscribers! Your videos just keep getting better and better and it's amazing that it is being reflected in your views and subscribers. I've been searching for a way to forecast my subscriber count and watch hours, and you've created a brilliant spreadsheet that I'm definitely going to use for my channel. Thank you for sharing!
Aww thank you! That's such a nice message to receive and I'm really glad it was helpful. I love nerding out over numbers :D What's your next (small) goal for your channel?
Hiya, fellow new RUclipsr here! I’m glad to have found your channel so early on! I love your series and transparency, your voice is very calming too! I look forward to watching your growth! Good luck!
Heyyyy @AngeliaRogerson ! I'm glad you're here - your first few videos are already so professional, I love them! I noticed they don't show up on your home page though. You might want to go to Customize Channel > Home Tab and add them in so everyone can see them when they click on your handle. Love how clear you are on your purpose with your channel too - so impressive! Good luck to you as well :D
@ WOW, thank you so much for the advice! I didn’t even realize this was something I had to do. I appreciate it and look forward to keeping up with your content :D
Please look at the camera lens and not at the screen.... If you dont see audience eye to eye via lens, audience wont connect with you. So I am leaving at 1:11 and check back on next video to see improvement. 🙏🙏
Ooh, thank you - it seems obvious now that you said it. I've already filmed my next video but I'll incorporate the feedback into next Monday's video. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! :)
Yay amazing work. Keep going! Do you script your videos or bullet point and if so where do you read them from? You have a great camera presence! All these little things that are important but you never think about until you start a channel ….
Aww thank you @AngietheGrace ! Are you starting your channel too? I script them in a google doc, write out everything bullet point and zoom it in quite large on my laptop as I'm making the video so I can read the first few words at a glance, and then freestyle a bit so it's authentic but the ideas are coherent. I tried a few different ways but this way seems to suit me best (for now). I feel like I'm getting better slowly but am quite self critical so these kinds of comments just make my day! I just had to let the self consciousness go and start - put 'bad' work out there so I could get better. Thanks so much for watching :)
Ahh ok, great tips. Thanks for sharing. Honestly you’re editing, thumbnails and content is really well done and very professional! Yes I’m thinking of starting one but just didn’t realise how much work is involved hehe…
Gosh, thanks @AngietheGrace ! I felt the same, but I watched this video - ruclips.net/video/XpopyNZKYKw/видео.htmlsi=oeZXICqzXzvOTjwt - and just got started like he says. That was my kind of review video on the hair styling tool (which I left as private per Ali Abdaal's advice, then eventually I let it be public just to see what happened, and some people seemed to find it helpful and I thought hmm, maybe I can do this after all), and then I just aimed to improve one thing each week from there. Not too much pressure. I also don't watch too much content about how to make things perfect because then it gets overwhelming. I watch videos about the specific thing I want to improve that week. And this week I've got some feedback about looking at the camera directly so that's what I'll focus on next! I think it can be as easy as you want it to be ;)
@iinalina they do indeed! I suppose there are a lot of people who start channels and take time to get monetised (or don't keep going) so that window of income for YT would be a protifable commercial move.
You talking to us or someone in the room off to the side? Practice looking into the camera and talking directly to us. If you’re reading a script, put it a few inches above or below your camera. Keep pumping away👍.
Thanks for the tip! I'm using my phone so I was kind of checking my screen presence whilst filming - but now that you and another viewer made this comment it makes sense and I can incorporate this improvement into future videos. I'm definitely looking to improve and learn as I go. Thanks for watching and for the useful advice!

I love how fully transparent you are and sharing how your RUclips videos are going. Love seeing these growth in such a short time! :)
Oh my gosh thank you @jenskibunski ! It's a wild ride but an enjoyable one. Thanks for your support :D

Yeah it's weird that you have to add them isn't it, lol. You're welcome and likewise :D

Subbed to help out!
Oh man, thank you! Appreciate you :)
I got ads on this. So does RUclips just collect ad revenue even when you can't?? That doesn't seem right.
