This video contains quite a few HAK5/6 words, but the difficulty level is lower due to the slower speaking pace and accompanying visuals. Please let me know how challenging you find it and what your proficiency level is, so I can label future videos more accurately:)
You know the drill: try watching it the first time without subtitles to see how much you can understand.

I like the way you are speaking clear and not too slow also not too quick, so even though you use advance vocabularies but still easy to understand, thank you Laoshi ❤❤❤❤❤

I wonder why I'm able to understand so much, even though I haven't even started HSK 4 or 5 yet.

Yay!! Because it’s ‘comprehensible input’, which sets up the story with a strong context, with additional help from visual aids like hand gestures and pictures:)

I agree. gift given should be something spontaneous. A thoughtful gestion. You think about this person and gift them Something you know they need or you know they would like because it is something they would buy for themselves. We don't need to wait for a specific date in th year to give someone we appreciate a gift. But like you said we are programmed by the system to the point that it has at times becomes a cold transaction that stresses and burdens us. We've become conditioned by the system. So we are forced on a specific day to buy and give things that the recipient don't even want or need. That's why returning unwanted gifts and exchanging them is a normal thing now. It has become a business indeed. That's why I don't wait for Xmas or birthdays to give a gift to someone I appreciate.

I couldn’t have said it better! I hope your 中文 will progress to this level soon;)

Nice video thanks. Plenty of good vocab and sentence structures but spoken clearly and slowly.
Took me a long time to train the family out of the Xmas pressie roundabout. It’s basically a kids thing and all the family’s kids are adults now and now we just enjoy the food, drink and company.
The other option is Kris Kringle where everyone buys and receives one present. Very
Popular these days especially with work and non family groupings.

And now Xin Nian is coming and even more gifts will be needed. It’s out of control. I feel that Adults should not be exchanging gifts, they should only be for children. P.S. don’t expect a lot of gifts next year Ha! 😃Still waiting for “ super thanks “ so I can gift you.❤🇨🇦
