Coulda just filled up a 5 gallon bucket with some water and poured it all over the top of the unit and then checked it inside the building…. Just a thought but maybe it could have helped you figure out wth was going on
I had a call that the store keeps saying that the ac unit was leaking on ceiling and it turned out to be the sprinkler system that had a bad connection between two pipes and it was filled with water so it would leak very few days I also checked the ac unit and found it was working fine just had to take pictures to prove my point.
Yeah. Owner never told me that had any heating issues, just that the ceiling leaked and the roofer "advised" them to get a HVAC company to check the unit.
I don’t think it’s the RTU. If it was summer and the air conditioning was running, maybe. It’s where they patched it where the line set goes in the roof. You can tell they’ve had multiple leaks. If it was just in the area of the rooftop unit I would say possibly a leak, but I really don’t think it is. Roofer is just looking to blame someone else.
That's even what the owner of the axe throwing place said. Because they've had to keep calling them out (property management company i think just got some cheap people to do it) to keep patching leaks.
Need to have someone inside watching while you spray water only on the roof…I had one I dealt with years ago in the same senecio…four times till that’s what I did while they were there….

I wish i could but theres no water access that i can hook a hose up to. I think this would be a good time for one of those sprayers 😅
