I watched a creator from New Zealand compare the two formulas as the original was her favorite. At the end of her wear test they were virtually the same wear. I think her Chanel is Night Shade Beauty, it was an informative review of both new and old formulas.
Most blushes have changed from talc to mica. If you change one item in the formuls, you get a completely different finish, feel, color, saturation. Its like baking a cake, you change one ingredient or amout you get something different

I used to LOVE the original Ultra le Teint, it was my go to. My skin is drier these days so it is definitely not a foundation I would use these days. Great review, thank you!!
I agree with you, I don’t want brands to announce something as new when it isn’t really new but I do want them to be transparent about reformulations so that I can try it in store before I buy a new one. Chanel reformulated a foundation that I’d used for years and when I bought my next bottle I was allergic to it. It’s frustrating when a brand reformulates and either you just don’t like it as much or are now allergic to it but I understand sometimes they need to, so just tell us so we can make an informed decision…and ideally warn us in advance so we can stock up🙂

I might try it in the summer when my oils are working overtime. Right now the Prada is just perfect for me. (I’m not as used to that kind of velvet my/powdery dry down in a foundation anymore. I think it will be too much for me now in winter) Did you say your favorite eyeliner OF ALL TIME? It’s so odd - and I’m so thankful - that Chanel didn’t put any fragrance in the Complexion Touch, it’s my favorite foundation. Every once in a while I use the No. 1 and I gag lol. This one I couldn’t consider with the dry cold winter we are into now.
I don't like not knowing what's going on. Shiseido did this with both Synchro foundations. They're not being sold in the US. They got reformulated and are being sold in other countries, but there has been no announcement of this in the US. The Revitalessence foundation is . . . a tint at best, and it's greasy looking like the Ilia Skin Tint. It doesn't even cover my redness. So, that's incredibly disappointing. I am definitely needing a juicier foundation for my dry skin that's flaking, but the Revitalessence is just waaay too oilier looking for me and sometimes emphasizes the flakes that I can't just exfoliate away unless I want raw spots on my face. IT's not bad, but I would have loved to know about the discontinuing of the Synchro foundations, so that I could purchase a couple.
This looks very pretty on camera. But, my preference would be a less aging, lighter, glower foundation. That’s something you don’t have to think about.❤.
Your makeup looks beautiful. Their powder blush reformulation a couple of years ago was awful. I threw out that blush. I had to search on instagram because I didn’t believe it but someone said it is closer to their original although more pigmented. Some of the shades are different from previous versions ( Malice for example is less peachy and more pink). Pink Explosion now has both silver and gold shimmer particles. It was silver. There are supposedly both shimmery colors although most are matte. I cannot wait to see your review. I like that it is quiet. I am sick of reformulations just to sell more. What a waste.
Supposedly they are just replacing the dreaded towel that everyone is freaking out about now for good reason or for not… But it’s also to cut other ingredients and make a little bit more money. Who are we kidding, right? ❤️

Chanel now has B10 *Light with a Neutral tone in the Newly reformulated Ultra Le Teint Velvet and B00 in the Les Beiges Healthy Glow.. but to be light enough I still have to add the Le Blanc Mulit-Use Illuminating Base which is a pure White.. 😊must admit I love the Finish n longevity with them mixed together✨
