"The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth." Perfectly fits Gul'dan, not a justification for any of his actions, he is an irredeemable character, but his origins explain the path he chose very well.
Yep. You'd think that that's normal for reaction videos, but it turn out that just doing that makes you some of the greatest video game trailer reactors I've stumbled upon.
The Orcs were a Chamanistic culture, with honor on strength and cooperation with the elements, when Gul'Dan was rejected by the elements becuase they saw darkness inside him, the Fel energy of the demons of the Burning legion, twisted him a lil' more and created the first Warlock.
I love watching your reactions. Seeing a fresh perspective of our beloved story and game is amazing. I look forward to your next reactions :) Subscribed because you guys are amazing and I love your enthusiasm.
You have a beautiful job done with ''Legion - Broken Shore Cinematic Reaction '' , now you HAVE to do one for ''A Found Memento: Raising a King'' . Its very sentimental and beautiful. It takes Anduin back to where his father, King Varian fell, and he gets to see first hand the field of war and legion's destruction. its the moment where he questions everything and whether he has it in him to succeed his dad as the king of Alliance.
Fun reaction the harbringers stuff was done very well. Also again recommend you all look up Anduin's in game cut scene from Legion where he goes back to where is father died. Very powerful VERY well done cut scene that really fleshes out Anduin rather well.
@@GeeksofMucklebee Then I suppose we have to thank the community, and your sensibilities in the matter. Sometimes sound advice, and be the best guided tour ^^
You guys were spot on about the elements. In the lore, the elements, despite being very very powerful, they are pretty fragile. They serve those who ask their permission to use their mighty power. Thats why you'll hear shamans say something like "elements of earth, wind and water, grant me your strength". Gul'dan might have been accepted by them had he not reached out and and tried forcing them to pick him. Once they touch, they sensed that he didnt have a pure heart and refused to lend him their strength. If you watch the Thrall and Garrosh fight cinematic, you'll see what i mean by the forcing. After some time passes,Thrall mentions how he can't sense the elements and he feels like they abandoned him. During the fight,Thrall pretty much abused their power to make sure Garrosh died.
When you are doing split runs with your guild so you are ready to push on mythic progress in the new Tier, but hey! watching the reaction of the Geeks is life, so you spent your break watching the vid XD Great reaction lads :D
Thanks for that explanation at the end. From our point of view it's not clear when your videos are recorded and in which order they are uploaded, so it actually felt like Rose really had some reason not to watch the Warcraft videos anymore. Good thing it didn't turn out true! Can't wait to see more of your Warcraft content!
Something about Elemants. There are Elemental beings in Warcraft universe. A Shaman has to be chosen by any of these to have elemental manipulation. Not all Shamans have all elements. And their power level scales with how powerful is the elemental that choose him. We have seen some shamans in game who have friends with lesser Elemantals. Son of Durotan, Trall is the strongest Shaman, known as Earth Shaman, and have connected to Elemental Lords, Mainly earth mother. This place Guldan visit for Elemantals is called Throne of Elemental. It's a place in orc home world, a place where shamans and Elemantals find their partners.
Geeks of Mucklebee "if he touch elements and become shaman it will save alot of lifes" except guldan said when he go to throne of elements ( i offer myself to anything that would end my suffering ) so that means if he become shaman he will still suffer , but if he serve the demons with green fel death energy it will truly end his suffering , also these elements you see turn to shadow in a last sec so they could be illusion from the burning legion to make him despair and follow them
Well, this Gul dan is the alternate one, the original Gul dan was actually a shaman, so the elements never rejected him. He was a shaman, under the shaman that later would become the lich king, the one merging with Arthas when he puts on the crown (as in he is the crown itself). Anyway, what I wanted to say is that even that Gul dan, he was a shaman and he abandoned the elements to embrace fel power and become a warlock and betray everyone.
The Elements Tested Guldan, if you notice as they approach him , they realized his hunger and lust for more power, his greed. Hence they refused to help him.
Just want to let you know, that Audible got several audio books of warcraft lore :) Just in case you wanted to know :) Edit: There are also normal books you can get, but Audible is easily accessible through the phone :)
Great reactions. After you react to all the Harbingers and Warbringers, you need to react to in-game cinematics (especially those that are from Legion and Battle for Azeroth).
The elements are extremely wise, ancient and they only exist through balance. They could easily tell when someone, if granted power, would just use it to kill his clan and become bent on fury. It sounds harsh, but before this expansion, one of the greatest, if not the actual greatest shaman (the class that uses the elemental powers guldan WOULD have recieved), Thrall, an extremely wise and peaceful and even forgiving orc who was once warcheif, has lost his powers because the elements didnt like that he killed someone. Even though it was fair, and more of a trial/execution by combat for INSANE amounts of warcrimes, the elements no longer answer him. So yeah theyre pretty stern when it comes to who they let be in control.
I think the reason the elements actually pulled away was because of the fel presence. Perhaps Kil’jaeden scared them off on purpose to manipulate Gul’dan.
I think it is more that they sensed his greedy personality, he showed it to them when he was impatient and tried to bridge the gap instead of remaining patient
Rose is an amazing young lady. She is extremely kind, intelligent, funny and independent. She knows her own mind is not afraid to stand for what she believes, she is only doing Warcraft reactions, because she wants to do Warcraft reactions. :) Thank you for watching!

I think the Gul'Dan Harbinger is awesome, especially when I first saw it, except in my opinion it is actually wrong. I own about 7 World of Warcraft books and one of them is named 'Rise of the Horde'. Brief summary (which in turn will show an alternate way for Gul'Dan to become corrupted by the Burning Legion) - The Draenei have 3 leaders, Sargeras (burning legion leader) approaches them with gifts of unlimited power but in return they must become his servants. 2 of the leaders are liking the idea and one (Velen) isn't having anything to do with it. He escapes with his life and a handful of Draenei and run from world to world escaping Kil'jaedin (one of the former Draenei leaders) eventually they make it to Draenor (home of the Orcs). They live here for a long period of time before Kil'jaedin once again finds them. Instead of destroying the world like before he attempts recon. Ner'zhul (head shaman of the Shadowmoon Clan (Gul'dan is his apprentice) Ner'zhul is the one that told Gul'dan to go to the throne of the elements) was approached by Kil'jaedin pretending to be Ner'zhul's dead wife (this was done by visions that Shamans have but really it was just Kil'jaedin not an actual vision). Kil'jaedin convinces Ner'zhul to do all these bad things such as make the Orcs think the Draenei are an enemy. Ner'zhul realises it isn't his wife and attempts to stop working with Kil'jaedin but Gul'dan takes over and happily accepts Kil'jaedin's gifts. Here, he trains Orcs to become warlocks (summon demons of the burning legion) and they attack a Draenei city...before, or after Gul'dan makes them drink the demon blood (not sure which one also some Orcs say no, that is the Frostwolf clan) now that the Draenei are either dead, or have gone into hiding, the Orcs eventually deplete the land of resources because of the warlock powers and this is why they are forced to leave through the dark portal and go to Azeroth. There you go, in the story the elements abandoned everyone, all the shamans because they became warlocks, also, Gul'dan was actually a prodigy shaman (so no the elements didn't abandon him like in the harbinger) "No one living has heard of the village of my birth" well I can tell it to you right now, its the Shadowmoon Village. (sorry the harbinger kind of annoys me because the book I read was written in 2006, and I don't like how its been 10 years and now Blizzard is changing the story)
While this was a good video I don't like that they changed it from a previous story. The demonlord Kil'Jaeden who for nearly 25,000 years of searching discovered where the Draenei were hiding and sought to use the orcs to eradicate those who defied him. He contacted Ner'zhul the shaman leader of the Shadowmoon clan and began teaching him how to use Warlock spells. But after a time Ner'zhul rejected the teachings forcing the demon to find a new underling. Guldan was Ner'zhul's apprentice and his ambitions made him a perfect candidate for learning how to control fel energies and necromatic spells as well. The shaman of the orc clans began to see their connections with the elements fade and when Guldan put on a demonstration of what warlocks could do, the desperate shaman of the clans jumped at the chance to be able to cast spells again.
