I lived on Tamarind Ave. this was also my neighborhood (My very first apartment in LA early 2000’s). That shopping center had all the essentials Sally Beauty, Chinese Food, Nail Salon, Little Caesar’s and the BEST Panaderia. I remember when they remodeled the cemetery and started hosting movie nights (my old neighbors were so confused) This such a sweet flashback 😩❤️.

Aww my mom told me the would eat that too in El Salvador... when her and her sisters were little they were very poor and so they would eat tortilla con sal ...but i always tell her (even though we’re not rich) I always ask her “ did you ever think you’d be here now... not worried where your meal is coming from and having an abundance of food, clothing, and having access to restaurants of all kinds and she always tells me that God has blessed all of them so much, because they were always so umildes (humble). I just found you through iluvsarahii on her IG... I saw how you were protecting your shop and saw that you’re Salvadoran and well as one, I definitely want to support you.

Damm I grew up in Hollywood back in the 80's and 90's. That restaurant used to be a arcade for years, me and my hoimes use to spend hours there. I grew up right doen the street from there.
I love being in LA my gf takes me to see where she grew up often. We got to 2 pupuserias out there and they are bomb I love em all lol and the Agua de ensalada i think it’s called. I actually learned how to make pupusas Saturday! I’m so hungry after watching this lol.
