Thanks for being so honest. I was mobile my first 3.5 years in lashing. I am still growing and learning 5 years in. I gross about $9000 a month but i know i could make alot more and im working on vaping my business. Also started permanent makeup, which has brought me a couple thousands more a month. Follow your dreams and believe in yourself! Sometimes others dont get you but its your journey, not theirs. Yes, its scary ass hell starting out but it will work. So thankful for all the youtubers that help all of us with our businesses and make it easy to relate too.
You need an instagram page and also the place need to be good for customers if you got luck to get one celebrity well that celebrity with give it to the WHOLE WORD you can also say your family members to help you and they can share the how good you do those lashes girl and if your family member tell their friends their friend will share it to other friends and that’s how cummunity grows hunny 😂

Y’all skipping the part of needing a LICENSE to practice depending on state (or country). Not just a certificate. Otherwise it is ILLEGAL to lash without a cosmetology/esthetician’s license in California. Don’t waste your money on courses saying you need just a certificate - that is a lie.
Emily Liz I wouldn’t be surprised, so many unlicensed techs out there and I’m sure she’s adding by certifying them. That’s why this business is saturated smh.

Las Vegas is a huge industry for this. All the girls here work in the hospitality industry. Model cocktail servers, cocktail servers, dancers, girls in the cirque shows. All typically get their lashes done bc they are always expected to look on point. All my model cocktail servers get theirs done! So one location to def consider. It’s also closer to your home base!!

There is alot of sorority girls I know that drive to ATL to get their lash extensions because there is only one small lash business here now! I have about to go to esthetitician school and do a lash extension training to become licensed in both!
