Lol. You must be kinda new to road bikes. Get this. 600 is a great groupset. The thing is bikes like these were a dime a dozen. The rare gems are the early 70s japanese bikes like the miyata p-1 or p-2. Super rare these days and competed in the same markets against peugeots and raleighs and cinelli. Miyata ended up manufacturing for most companies because of those early release bikes they made.
@@IvansBikesBmws I have tons of minty rides from 60s+. Bike industry never really changes, in America there's over 700k bikes hanging in people's garages with less than 3 miles on them. I'd say my vintage road bike collection is about half of those. About a quarter full customs and a quarter full blown restos. Always nice to find them completely original unmolested. Covered in 50 years of dust. That's how I love them
I would like to buy this Norco of yours . Please let me know whenever you want to discuss about it. Again, if you still want to keep it , let me be the very first one on the list to be inform , whenever the time have come to pass it on…It’s like a Ferrari -It’s a Classic .Now.And , not for use on a daily basis.Though it seems to be on good hands with you.
I got one for 10 bucks in totally ridable condition.
Looks like its worth it to clean it up nice and take care of it.
@@1joshjosh1 Glad to hear
I own a Nishiki Competition with the Sugino Group Index shifting and drilled out crankset an enjoyable ride and I loved your review as well!
Wow these nishiki/norco bikes are starting to get lots attention. Glad I helped people with buying. Also consider subscribing. Thnx
How much is a vintage nishiki /norco these days?
The clean one with Shimano 600 , tunned up with new tires, expect to pay $300/$400 Usd of you are in a bigger city in Usa/ Canada.
Very nice bike ! Lucky you !
Love how it rides. Very happy with it.
Thanks
Hi, do you know what tire dimensions are the most common on 80s Nishiki?
They came with two options:
One is 700c 23/25, the thiner ones
2nd is 27 x 1 1/4 the thicker ones
Very Nice Video. Good Looking Bike. Looks Very High Quality. I wasn't aware of Norco. Thanks for this.
Tbh most of them have that bulky fork, but this one has very light Voight fork and frame. I am pleased. So the Magnum S.S. is to look for.

Yup back in the 80s dime and dozen, but very few preserved in this shape.
