I have a fair next week so I'm working on some pom beanies and ghosts. My last fair was extremely slow with only 6 of us in attendance so I'm hoping for more traffic. I loved hanging out with you on the vlog today! You keep me motivated lol.
Absolutely! I've been using a lot more lately in the upcoming vlogs, so I do talk about it a bit more, but I'd love to do a full break down video on it, as you've described!
I just recently discovered you after searching craft show displays to get ready for this season - your positive attitude and happiness are infectious❤ I saw your fold up Amazon shelves and put them in my cart…well I double checked today and they are now $34 for Amazon Prime deals, and $31 for the narrower ones!🎉🎉🎉 Had to share❤. Amazing holiday show season to Camryn and everyone!
I use the z-shape and I always do better! I also raise my tables with 6” risers and use a foldable bar stool. You would sell out at a bigger event for sure!
Hi lovely lady I've just started watching your RUclips channel I'm a fellow crochet friend lol and I was like wow spokane Washington I have an author friend who lives there too anyway I'm babbling just wanted to say hello from the UK ❤ xxx
Gearing up for my first big market tomorrow and had to find one of your cheery encouraging craft fair videos to soothe my worries! Thanks for all your tips!
My first solo market is in 2 weeks! I would love to know more about the z shape, at this upcoming market I will only be able to use their 8ft table and have some other display ideas. I really want to incorporate this idea! THANK YOU!!
Hi there! I'm so sorry for the late response! If you already had your show, I'd love to hear how it went! If you haven't I'd love to answer any specific questions you have! :)
no worries! Yes, I had my market-it went well, i know you are doing a video on the z shape, my next show will be November 18 and i will be able to do that then. THANKS for your help, I know my show went well because I followed your tips!! YOU ROCK!!@@camryns_cute_creations
So glad you mentioned the beanies and yarn you were using, it's hard to get the American yarns here in Australia without it costing a fortune but I'm feeling I need to at least try them and see how they are received at the markets I do. It's nice to see a different setup and hear about how it went. Yes, I'm crocheting a pink pumpkin and made myself a coffee Looking forward to our next online hangout
I'd love to hear what you think of the yarn!! I'm wondering what alternatives you have in Australia?? Where do you usually get your yarn over there? :)
Did a Z-display for our first market last month. Attendance was low due to weather but we did well considering. I thought the Z led people to stop with the wow-stuff on the front table, my upcycled clothing up front too on a rack. then we put larger eye catching items on the back table to entice people to walk all the way through. We also left space to enter from the other side, but used a wall on the back and side where we sat to make that the "back area"
Hi there! I tend to stick fairly local for my markets, usually around an hours drive at the longest. However, I do have some bigger shows planned that are quite a ways away (around 8 hours)!
I think I will aim for spring because I am overwhelmed but I wish I could do it now because I love fall and fall items. Do you change what you do seasonally?
I have a base set of items that I always offer, and those are the items geared toward my primary audience. But, I do do seasonal items like pumpkins, snowmen, and trees!
How do your beanies made on the Addi machine sell? Is it worth getting one? I'm considering it but I'm still unsure and also the reviews on Amazon mention it breaking easily. What has your experience been?
The Addi is a good solid machine That said, you still have to be gentle with it and don’t force it. If it doesn’t want to work with a certain yarn it will tell you.
I've really enjoyed the Addi! As another person said, you don't want to be rough with it though. If you treat it right and don't force anything, it won't give you any troubles! As far as the beanies I make with it, they do sell well! They aren't as popular as my Velvet Beanies (because their so soft!) but the Addi beanies do offer a nice middle ground in price that many appreciate! They will also quickly repay the value of the Addi machine!
Hey, Hey Camryn! I am working on my first velvet beanie, using your pattern and I am confused. Please help. So "Rows 2-52" is written on the pattern for a size 0-3 months hat but, if I crocheted 52 rows, the child's head would have to be the size of a table! I've stopped at 26 rows but I think even that many rows would be too many. What am I not getting here, what am I getting so wrong? Help! I want this to work out so much! Your hats are so cute and the velvet yarn is like butta... crochet hugs, Kare Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks for hanging out with me in today's vlog! 💕 Are you crocheting while watching?:) I would love to hear about your current WIPs! ⬇
I have a WIP (now that I know what a WIP is) it is a baby Grogu and I'm doing my 1st pattern testing for someone

I would have liked to hear more about the Z setup, pros, cons, etc...
Absolutely! I've been using a lot more lately in the upcoming vlogs, so I do talk about it a bit more, but I'd love to do a full break down video on it, as you've described!

I use the z-shape and I always do better! I also raise my tables with 6” risers and use a foldable bar stool. You would sell out at a bigger event for sure!
That's a great idea! I love the idea of making the tables higher.
I haven't thought about using risers! That's a very good idea :) thank you for sharing!

Hey! *Your* pfp is similar to *my* old pfp! Mine is blue though

That's so amazing! Thank you for giving a detailed walkthrough, I think that helps people really understand the appeal of the Z-Display :)
I have my first market in November and you are so inspiring and a wealth of knowledge. Thank you for all you do and your inspiration ❤️
I'm so excited for you to have your first market!! :) I hope I can continue to help and answer questions as you get closer to your market!
Totally trying this at my next show!! Currently crocheting chickens haha
Are they the Oak and Marlo chickens?? Or a different pattern? I'd love to see them! :)
Hi Camryn! Your videos are sooooo helpful and fun! I would like to know how far you would travel for a market?
Hi there! I tend to stick fairly local for my markets, usually around an hours drive at the longest. However, I do have some bigger shows planned that are quite a ways away (around 8 hours)!
Hi. Love the video. Wher can I get you hat patterns please. Want to make some for Christmas gifts xxx

Hi there! If you send me an email with a picture of your work, I can best help :)
And the row count does reflect a folded/connected final product!
