    Thank you! Like others, we checked, double-checked cables, power, tv settings, cable box setting, etc.. Went past this sub-settlings area, so when you explained it, I knew how to get to this audio settings screen.

    I saw this video about a couple years ago and fixed no sound faster forward a couple years later forgot about it and had no sound for a week. Found the video and it worked again. You da man.

    Wow thank you so much for this! A true life saver! My mom is sick right now and not able to leave her bed/bed room, she also can barely see awaiting eye surgery. Her audio TV is all we had for her! She actually teared up when her audio quit.
    You’ve made her time sick so much better!!!

    You’re a lifesaver. The hurricane took my power out briefly before the generator turned on and I couldn’t figure out why my sound stopped working during the brief outage. You saved me from breaking the tv.

    I had called Spectrum with a audio problem. I had to do a reboot and when it came back up there was no audio. I explained this to the tech person on the phone. He had me reboot again, unplug my TV, and other various steps. No luck. Set up a home visit for today. I am impatient and searched the web and came across your video this morning. You just saved me a $50 home visit (because I am sure Spectrum would never have admitted it was a problem with their equipment). Now I am calling Spectrum to cancel the tech visit. Thank you so such, you fixed my problem!

    Wow! I couldn’t get my volume to work all day, talked to numerous spectrum employees on the phone and live chat... every rebooted it and then told me I’d have to go to spectrum and exchange my box! You just saved the day!! Thanks so much

    Was struggling with this for a couple of months now. Fire Stick worked fine and so we just used apps and kept moving forward, but with basketball season starting up and wanting to watch some games, I decided to take another stab to seeing if I could find a solution online. Not sure why I didn't stumble on this months ago with my variation of searches, but this definitely did the trick. Thanks!

    Awesome find! I was renting a beach condo and the power flipped off. Then the sound on the cable box stopped working and this was the fix.

    I appreciate you uploading this. My wife had fixed my parents tv this way but I couldn't remember the method.takes a long time through trial and error. You probably saved me close to an hour.
