RATM broke up because they were full of shit. Left wing ideology is insane and any movement (including bands) driven by it will always fall apart. They either realize that they don’t know what they’re talking about or they lose steam as reality sets in and they run out of things to say. Rage will only get you so far before your throat starts to hurt. Once you shut up and have a moment to think you realize that nothing you’re saying is true. The rest of the band stopped whining and crying and started playing more traditional rock n roll as Audioslave. That fell apart for a different reason. Real men do not allow their emotions to control them.

I loved rage when they first came out, even knew their first drummers brother. If you want to live free you should hope for a small government constitutional representative republic. That's what we're meant to be but aspects of Communism socialism and fascism have weaved their way into our system and are preparing to destroy it completely.
You realize communism is an umbrella term, right? Communism calls for the abolishment of state, class, and money, but historically, the most notable instances of attempts to implement communism have your marxists/leninists/maoists i.e. authoritarian leftists seizing power with either full belief in proletarian dictatorship or the idea that their ruler-ship would fade over time as they transitioned into communism (spoiler alert: they clung to their power and no country has ever achieved a fully socialist or a fully communist state). The term "communism" doesn't inherently speak to an authoritarian system. If you want to know about anarcho-communism, anarcho-syndicalism, and/or anti-capitalist libertarian leftist movements in general, you could look into revolutionary catalonia, makhnovia, the shinmin prefecture, the strandzha commune, the paris commune, and/or the rebel zapatista autonomous municipalities. Of course, most instances were violently squashed by the government, before ever truly reaching socialism or communism.
Wow so many butt hurt comments, seems everyone is off, Zack to me seemed to have left because he seemed to be the only one still wanting to rage but the rest of the band seem content where they were at. If your a true fan of Zack and listened to his lyrics you know he wasn't done yet.

I always wondered why such an amazing band spit up. I think I let myself forget that as talented and jaw dropping as they were, they were still flawed young men with emotions like everyone else.

2. Police
3. Nirvana
