Hadiths are by men Written and compiled some 200 years after the death of Prophet Muhammad. It is well documented as to how Mr. Bukhari compiled them. Just Imagine how many generations had passed in 200 years, the info of Prophet Muhammad's life came from father's children's , children's children's children as to what they had heard of Prophet Muhammad from their father's father's father's father !!!
The Qu'ran doesn't mention the age of Aisha. But the Quran does mention a minimum age for marriage; leading Islamic jurists agree that sexual maturity is required to reach this age.
2. Her age at the time of marriage is only mentioned in a single hadith which goes something like this: " I heard from someone who heard from someone who heard Aisha say she was 6 when she married the Prophet ". There are two problems with this statement:
It contradicts the Qur'an which mandates sexual maturity prior to marriage.This statement was recorded hundreds of years after the death of the Prophet (pbuh) and after Aisha's death. therefore the reliability and authenticity can be questioned.Imam Bukhari never collected this directly from Aisha and he never even met her. Aisha died in 678 AD. Bukhari was born in 810 AD!
3. Even in the alleged statement by Aisha, it says "He married me". Not "he abused me, assaulted me", etc. Marriage in Islam requires sexual maturity.
4. If the Prophet really did prefer children, why are there no reports of him marrying or having sexual relations with any other children? In his position, he could've had anyone he wanted but there are no confirmed reports or witnesses of this ever happening.
5. The Prophet married Khadijah, a woman who was 15 years older than him. In fact, it was well known that Aisha (ra) was often quite jealous of his love for Khadijah, even long after she had passed away. All his other wives were adults. Does this sound like a man who preferred children? No. It's not proven how old Aisha was at the time of marriage.
"If we look at the issue taking 614 as the year that Surah Qamar was revealed, Aisha would have been born at least eight years before the prophetic mission, or in 606. If we accept 618, then the year of birth would have been 610; this event alone makes it impossible for her to have been 9 when she married. When this information is combined with her name being on the list of the first Muslims, we get the result that Aisha's date of birth was probably 606. Consequently, she would have been atleast 17 when she married muhammad

Why don't we consider the possibility that the account in history/biography quoted by Ghamidi could be false? What if no such conversation took place between Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Khawlah? What if the circumstances of their marriage weren't as mentioned in this account? AbuBakr was Prophet's closest friend, so didn't Prophet already know of Aisha's bethrotal to someone else?
Even if you make it 16 and 19, the enemies of Islam will still try to malign our Prophet because of the age difference. How will Ghamidi respond then?
Surah Talaaq verse four (65:4) tells us that *_Iddat_* for those who haven't menstruated is three months, which means that the legal age of marriage in Islam _could be_ below the age of puberty. How will Ghamidi respond now?
Don't try to teach morals to your God. Learn from Him. Try to find the wisdom within. Defend against the enemies of Islam. According to my understanding, a person is eligible for marriage if they are *mentally mature* (overall wise and sound in judgement) and *sexually aware* (know about sex and related topics). Measures such as age or puberty are not flexible enough. Furthermore, woman's consent and her guardian's permission are also required for the marriage to hold valid.

According to Sahih Bukhari, Aisha (R.A.) is reported to have said that at the time

It was a strict rule that no one under the age of 15 was allowed to accompany anyone in battle! BATTLE OF BADR WAS 2 YEARS AFTER HIJRAH AND BATTLE OF UHUD WAS 3 YEARS AFTER HIJRAH! she was 100 years old!
Now, Obviously if Asma was 100 years old 73 years after Hijrah, then Asma should have been 27 or 28 years old at the time of Hijrah! If Asma was 27 or 28 years old at Hijrah, then Aisha (R.A.) would be 17 or 18 years old at Hijrah! REMEMBER PROPHET Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) MARRIED Aisha (R.A.) 1 YEAR AFTER HIJRAH! SO THAT MEANS Aisha (R.A.) WAS 18 OR 19 YEARS OLD WHEN SHE GOT MARRIED!

Tabari in his treatise on Islamic history, while mentioning Abu Bakr (father of Aisha (R.A.)) reports that Abu Bakr had four children and all four were born during pre Islamic period!
If Aisha (R.A.) was born before in the Pre Islamic period, then she would be more than 13 years old during Hijrah! REMEMBER PROPHET MARRIED HER 1 YEAR AFTER HIJRAH, WHICH MEANS SHE WOULD BE MORE THAT 14 YEARS OLD

According to Ibn Hisham, Aisha (R.A.) accepted Islam quite some time before
Umar ibn Khattab. Umar ibn Khattab accepted Islam roughly 7 years before

If Hisham ibn Urwah was right then others would have also reported but Hisham ibn Urwah is the only person to report this! Hisham ibn Urwah lived in Medinah but there were so many others in Medinah including the Jews! Even the Jews did not report any such thing!
If the Prophet had married a 6 or 9 year old, obviously the Jews would have reported or made a fuss because of obvious enemity. But no one has reported this.
Hisham ibn Urwah moved to Iraq later and these narratives come from Iraq only. Hisham moved to Iraq when he was 71 years old.

Logical explanation of a great confusion in our minds, Ghamidi sahib explained it beautifully, actually in religious matters most of the time we don't have complete knowledge and we think it's not right to ask a question . Really This is history, we don't have it's explanation in Quran or Hadees.

She was at the very least 19 years old. I can prove it here with very simple logic. we know that Ayesha RA embraced Islam along with her whole family in 610CE, we also know that she was 'engaged/Bethroted' to Jubayr ibn Mut'im Ibn 'Adi but as the family of Abu Bakr RA accepted Islam the engagement was called off. Now this means that Ayesha's age at the time of her conversion was at least a few years old let's say 5 years at the very least as she was already engaged so she can't be engaged with some person before her own birth.
Now we know that she had her nikkah with the Prophet saww in 623 and come to live in the prophet's household around 625, this would make her at least 19-20 years old, and that too is because we assumed that she was only engaged with Jubayr just before her conversion, it possible that she was an engagement for longer and she was 8 or 9 when she converted in 610CE.
She was of same age as huzrat Fatima .and huzray fatima was 2 years younger than huzray ali.

Why don't we consider the possibility that the account in history/biography quoted by Ghamidi is false? What if no such conversation took place between Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Khawlah? What if the circumstances of their marriage weren't as mentioned in this account? AbuBakr was Prophet's closest friend, so didn't Prophet already know of Aisha's bethrotal to someone else? Even if you make it 16 and 19, the enemies of Islam will still try to malign our Prophet because of the age difference. How will Ghamidi respond then? Surah Talaq (chapter 65), verse 4 tells us that iddat for those who have not menstruated is three months. Which means that the legal age of marriage in Islam _could be_ below the age of puberty. How will Ghamidi respond now? Don't try to teach morals to your God. Learn from Him and try to find the wisdom within. And defend against the enemies of Islam no matter what. According to my understanding, a person is eligible for marriage if they are mentally mature and sexually aware. Measures such as age or puberty are not flexible enough.

The verse says, "those who have not menstruated". This could mean females who have not yet reached menstrual age or are around that age but haven't menstruated yet or are past that age without menstruating. It doesn't seem to be speaking exclusively of women who haven't menstruated because of Amenorrhea (primary), since they would also be covered under the first category of women "who no longer expect to menstruate". If what you are saying about 'women and pronouns' is correct, then the lesson here is that Islam does not use menstruation as a means to differentiate between women and girls. However, I could be wrong. May ALLAH guide us to the straight path and enhance us in knowledge. Aameen.

Analysis 1
The Prophet married Aisha (R.A.) 1 year after Hijrah! This is a known fact!
According to Sahih Bukhari, Aisha (R.A.) is reported to have said that at the time
Surah Al-Qamar, the 54th surah of the Quran, was revealed, "I was a young girl".
The 54th surah of The Quran was revealed nine years before Hijrah. So Aisha (R.A.) was a young girl (jariyah), and not an infant (sibyah) at that time! THE PROPHET MARRIED Aisha (R.A.) ONE YEAR AFTER HIJRAH! SO NOW WE KNOW SHE WAS A YOUNG GIRL, 9 YEARS BEFORE HIJRAH

Battle of Badr and Uhud. It was usual for women to accompany men in the battles so they can help in looking after the wounded.
It was a strict rule that no one under the age of 15 was allowed to accompany anyone in battle! BATTLE OF BADR WAS 2 YEARS AFTER HIJRAH AND BATTLE OF UHUD WAS 3 YEARS AFTER HIJRAH! she was 100 years old!
Now, Obviously if Asma was 100 years old 73 years after Hijrah, then Asma should have been 27 or 28 years old at the time of Hijrah! If Asma was 27 or 28 years old at Hijrah, then Aisha (R.A.) would be 17 or 18 years old at Hijrah! REMEMBER PROPHET Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) MARRIED Aisha (R.A.) 1 YEAR AFTER HIJRAH! SO THAT MEANS Aisha (R.A.) WAS 18 OR 19 YEARS OLD WHEN SHE GOT MARRIED!

Tabari in his treatise on Islamic history, while mentioning Abu Bakr (father of Aisha (R.A.)) reports that Abu Bakr had four children and all four were born during pre Islamic period!
If Aisha (R.A.) was born before in the Pre Islamic period, then she would be more than 13 years old during Hijrah! REMEMBER PROPHET MARRIED HER 1 YEAR AFTER HIJRAH, WHICH MEANS SHE WOULD BE MORE THAT 14 YEARS OLD

According to Ibn Hisham, Aisha (R.A.) accepted Islam quite some time before
Umar ibn Khattab. Umar ibn Khattab accepted Islam roughly 7 years before
Hijrah! Obviously, she would have been a young girl when she accpeted Islam. If you add 7 years to a young girl, you can think for yourselves! REMEMBER PROPHET MARRIED HER 1 YEAR AFTER HIJRAH!

According to Ibn Hajar, Fathima (daughter of Prophet) was 5 years older than Aisha (R.A.)! Fathima was born more than 5 years before Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) was a Prophet! That means Fathima was born more than 19 years before Hijrah! PROPHET MARRIED Aisha (R.A.) ONE YEAR AFTER HIJRAH! SO THIS AGAIN PROVES Aisha (R.A.) WAS OVER 15 YEARS OLD WHEN THE PROPHET MARRIED HER!
ALL THIS EVIDENCE SHOWS THAT Aisha (R.A.) WAS NOT 9 YEARS OLD WHEN THE
PROPHET MARRIED HER!
BUT WHERE DOES IT SAY SHE WAS 9 YEARS OLD?
The narratives saying Aisha (R.A.) was 9 years old at the time of marriage, are reported ONLY by a man named Hisham ibn Urwah reporting from what he heard from his father!

If Hisham ibn Urwah was right then others would have also reported but Hisham ibn Urwah is the only person to report this! Hisham ibn Urwah lived in Medinah but there were so many others in Medinah including the Jews! Even the Jews did not report any such thing!
If the Prophet had married a 6 or 9 year old, obviously the Jews would have reported or made a fuss because of obvious enemity. But no one has reported this.
Hisham ibn Urwah moved to Iraq later and these narratives come from Iraq only. Hisham moved to Iraq when he was 71 years old.
WHAT DO OTHERS SAY ABOUT HISHAM IBN URWAH?
Tehzibu'l-tehzib, a man who was one of the most well known people on the life and reliability of the narratives of the traditions of the Prophet!
What did he have to say about Hisham ibn Urwah's narrations?
According to Yaqub ibn Shaibah he said: "narratives reported by Hisham, which are reported through the people of Iraq are unreliable!
Aisha is one of the most significant sources of information and knowledge that defined Islam, both in theory and in practice.
Aisha, (رضي الله عنها) is among the top four narrators of hadith out of hundreds of narrators. (A hadith is a report that contains words or deeds of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as witnessed by the narrator. Aisha is reported to have narrated some 2,200 hadith from the Prophet ﷺ. By comparison, the entire Bukhari hadith collection (one of the most authentic collections) contains around 2,602 hadith! And the famous Quran commentator and friend of Muhammad, ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنه) narrated 1,700 hadith. Aisha is frequently quoted in Islamic academic literature. I searched 345 hadith books using the al-Maktaba al-Shamila Islamic books software. The phrase “…according to Aisha...” (Arabic: عن عائشة) appears a staggering 61,590 times in the 345 hadith books stored in the database. That’s not counting books on law and theology in which her opinions are given utmost importance. Aisha’s opinions are considered authoritative in Islamic law.
After the Prophet’s death, Aisha worked tirelessly for the next 47 years to defend and promote the teachings of her husband, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Aisha was a strong woman who never shied away from speaking the truth even if it meant criticizing leaders. She did not hesitate to publicly rebuke notable Arab leaders when she saw them moving away from the Prophetic teachings.
At the Battle of the Camel, she played a critical role in peace-making efforts. Aisha has opinions in law, theology, history, life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ that have impacted countless rulings in the books of Islamic jurisprudence and legal philosophy as well as Islamic
theology.
Because of her reddish complexion, the Prophet used to call her humayra which in Arabic means ‘the little red girl’. Aisha was married to the Prophet ﷺ for around ten years until his death. Because of her closeness to the Prophet, we know so many private details about the couple, including their love, affection, sexual etiquettes, personal hygiene, habits as well as high moral character of the Prophet.
Aisha is a role model for Muslims. Throughout the 1400 year history of Islam, Muslim girls have been looking up to Aisha as a role model, a perfect exemplar of the prophetic teachings, and a source of knowledge, wisdom, scholarship, and guidance. To say that Aisha was the first female Islamic scholar would be an understatement! God’s peace and blessings be upon Aisha and whoever follows her!
Aisha died in the year 57, and was given the honorary title ‘Mother of the Believers’. To this day, 1.5 billion Muslims all over the world love Aisha, revere her, and consider her one of the best examples of how to be a Muslim.

So Hazrat Yahya alaysalam, ibn Taymiyyah (RA) and Imam Bukhari (RA) didnt get married ? wowww I learned something new and also I found out that Imam Humble (RA) got married at age 40.. so we shouldnt marry just for the sake of marriage but for productive reason, but still I guess overall marriage is better as it protects us from many sins.. still the choice is yours and how you look at it.. It is widely believed that Hazrat Ayesha’s age was seven years when she was married to the Prophet (Pbuh) and she was 9 when she came to live with him but this is wrong. The fact is that she was 17 when married and 19 at the time of her rukhsati (departure from her home to the husband’s house). There are too many indisputable evidences in favour of this. A few of those are listed below:
1. Imam Waliuddin Muhammad Abdullah Al-Khateeb, the author of famous work on Hadith, namely Mishkaat was also an acknowledged expert of (the unique art of research on people). He registered the following about Hazrat Asma at the end of Mishkaat.
There is unanimity among all the scholars of Asma-ur-Rijal and historians on the above-mentioned facts.
It can be easily computed from above that being 100 years old in 73 AH, Hazrat Asma, daughter of Hazrat Abu Bak’r was at least 27 (100-73) years old at the time of Hijrah of the Prophet (Pbuh). If she died in the beginning of 73 AH, then her age was (100-72) 28 years at Hijrah. It is stated above that she was 10 years older than Hazrat Ayesha. It means Hazrat Ayesha was 18 years old at Hijrah. She came into the Nikah of the Prophet (Pbuh) one year before Hijrah and she shifted to the Prophet’s house two years later. Clearly, she was 17 at the time of nikah and 19 at her rukhsati.
2. The historians have placed Hazrat Ayesha between No. 17 and 20 in the list of those who were earliest to embrace Islam. Ibne Ishaq, the earliest authentic Islamic historian has placed her at No. 18. We also know that Hazrat Umar was the 40th person to embrace Islam and he entered into the faith in the first year of prophet hood. It means Hazrat Ayesha was among those few who embraced Islam almost immediately after the declaration of prophet hood. She must have been at least 5 years old to be categorized in the list of those who embraced Islam. Therefore her age was 18 when Hijrah came about 13 years later.
Now imagine this. The saying goes that she was 7 at her nikah i.e. 8 at Hijrah that occurred 13 years after the declaration of prophethood. If it were true the declaration of prophethood occurred 5 years before her birth. Did she embrace Islam 5 years prior to her birth?
3. There are indications that she was among those who went to war of ’ but her presence in the battleground of is beyond doubt. It is in many authentic books of Hadiths and history that she was among those women in who were carrying water to the injured Sahaba. Now remember the incident of two young boys Rafe and Samra who were 13 and the Prophet (Pbuh) was not permitting them to join forces for their age but later agreed to their pleading as they were very enthusiastic. If Hazrat Ayesha was 10 when Uhad came about in 2 AH, was it possible that a new bride of 10 would have been permitted while the young boys of 13 were refused permission to go to battle ground of Uhad? On the contrary if she was 18 at Hijrah her age was 20 and fit to take care of the injured in the battlefield when Uhad took place.
There are quite a number of other irrefutable evidences of her age being 19 when she entered into the Prophet’s home 2 years after her Nikah to him.
The wrong notion of her being 7 at marriage is widely accepted (and many Fiqh deductions are erroneously made on its basis) as there is a false report narrated by Hashsham bin Urwah in all the six most authentic collections of Hadith i.e. Sihah-e-Sittah.
Hashsham bin Urwah was a very reliable narrator according to all scholars but this fact skipped the scrutiny of the famous Muhaddiseen of Sihah-e-Sittah that Hashsham became forgetful and unbalanced at his old age when he shifted to Iraq. The said report was narrated by him while he was in Iraq.
Hashsham was the teacher of Imam Malik and he has accepted a number of Hadiths narrated by him in his collection of Hadith, Muatta. It was none other than Imam Malik, Hahsham’s disciple who declared after Hashsham shifted to Iraq that none of his former teachers’ statements were reliable anymore because of his mental condition. The compilers of Sihah-e-Sittah, all being non-Arabs were not aware of it.
Now you know that when Hazrat Ayesha came to the Prophet’s house she was a major. The age difference is still considerable but no law of any land objects to the union of mutual willful consent of two majors. Remember also that the Prophet (pbuh) possessed exceptional health at 53 with all his hair black and he being stronger than most youngsters. Besides he was an ideal husband and the history testifies to his ideal care of his young wife with all the psychological considerations.

The Qur'an is the first book in the world which lays great emphasis on the use of the brain, but the Muslims, without any proper research, are adamant on the disabled evidence found from other books, majority of Muslims have taken out their brains and kept them in the boxes. Just what their Hazrat or Baba said is the final word and should not be questioned, Hazrat Ayesha's age at the time of her Nikah was about 17 years and 18 to 19 years at the time of her Ruksti. There are plenty of evidences which can easily prove the age of Hazrat Ayesha (RA) from (Asma o Rijal) a collection of biographies of hadith narrators, but these peoples are not ready to listen and firmed on the words what they assume are correct.

Divorce is one of the most abhorrent things in Islam. How can Prophet suggest his own wife to demand divorce. And more importantly, if prophet advised his wife to demand divorce then why are followers advised to get consent of the first wife to marry another woman. And didn't Rasool Allah think about the post divorce future of that 50 years old woman after separation with prophet. And why did prophet (PBUH) got assurance or why did she gave assurance that she would demand no more time of the prophet ( PBUH)). Is not it obligatory on a husband to maintain equality among his wives. These are important questions which beg satisfactory answers. Holly Prophet's conduct was exemplary. Ghamidi Sahb must have made a mistake here.

Narrated `Aisha: that the Prophet (ﷺ) married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death). Bukhari Book 62, Hadith 64
Narrated Hisham's father: Khadija died three years before the Prophet (ﷺ) departed to Medina. He stayed there for two years or so and then he married `Aisha when she was a girl of six years of age, and he consumed that marriage when she was nine years old. Bukhari Book 63, Hadith 122
