@@manueltorrjas9994 I agree.
Menza has so much power he just beats the hell out of the drums. Megadeth truly was and is freaking awesome.
Nick and Marty also did a great job in playing Good Mourning/Black Friday. They did justice in Chris' and Gar's parts.

DAMN! Mega death in their prime!

1990 probably the most awesome moment in thrash metal history,
killer bands released their monumental album one after another
and of course Clash of Titans was one of the best event ever happened..
megadeth - rust in peace, judas priest - painkiller, anthrax - persistence of time, death angel - act 3, pantera - cowboys from hell, testament - souls of black [kinda a weak album], sacred reich - the american way, sepultura - beneath the remains...
dont forget suicidal tendencies- lights camera...
Mike Acord that was probably the best suicidal album for me..
you cant bring me down !!
Maddoxx x kinda weak? falling fast souls of black seven days of May the legacy face in the sky are some of the best testament songs souls of black I think it iseven better than the new order and demonic and the gathering are my favorite testament album
There was an awesome article in the summer 1991 double issue of Rolling Stone about the tour
1990 Alice in Chains - Facelift album. Dave has it hanging in his room btw
Marty Friedman's live hair is even cooler than his playing
Clash Of The Titans (1990 NEC UK) was my very first concert!!! A peace of Thrash history I am very proud to be a part of !!! Who could forget Slayer's set opener Raining Blood greeted with crimson seat covers flying everywhere!!!
God, I'd forgotten about that, lol
the best line up of all time....
Not even close sorry
@@jamesdenson7616 You're right. It's not even close how far ahead of all other lineups this one is. Poland and Gar fucking ruled too though.
@@jamesdenson7616 Hahahaha, hey Lars how are those shitty off-beat snares of yours sounding ?
YES!!!!!!
Menza was BRUTAL!
Menza, never missed a beat and brought such raw energy. Marty playing with such emotion and skill, you can hear and see how he feels the music. What a time for Megadeth
@ 9:05 when Nick loses a stick , he is so calm and grabs another and does so seamlessly without missing a beat ! Amazing
Menza was always spot on precise and so smooth.

I was so desperate to go to this gig age 16. Glad to find it here!
This looked like a kick-ass concert. I first saw Megadeth back in December 9th, 2013 and it was effing amazing but I wish could have seen them in the old days. :(((
I hear you. My first metal concert at age 16 was Megadeth on the Youthanasia Tour.
And 30 years later, that intro couldn't be more relevant!!!
so tru bruv
Lol yup
Black Sabbath¡
Antivax conspiracy covid lunatic, huh?
From Ice-T’s « Iceberg - Freedom of Speech » album released the year before.
they're playing like at least.. 200bpm? almost the whole show , insane
Marty F. is the best lead guitar in the metal history. no doubt about it.
Your high ya dumb bitch
Don't listen to trolls my friend. She wouldn't know the 1st thing about guitar playing.
I agree with your opinion. Marty is an absolute beast on the guitar when it comes to lead. Those solos are just nasty.
You're fucking right about that! Skill and soul all in one
poland > marty
Appart from the fact that I was lucky enough to be of that generation to be there, the show was amazing, every band tight, with their 'classic' line ups, and the mood and attitude amongst the fans was great. We won't experience anything so fresh and exciting again. Everything now in met is a re-hashed.
0:46:00 Good mourning Black friday.. God I fucking love that song.
Best Megadeth line up. These guys rocked!
Fucking love The Conjuring!! Soooo badass \m/
what did I just see, that was epic, rest easy Nikk

Wow, if I had a time machine... :D
I was in the stand left of stage, I honestly thought it was going to collapse when the breakdown in 'wake up dead' happened, the whole thing was jumping up and down
This has to have been the best set list of songs ever for this era
This is how i shared this video @ facebook: When Megadeth used to Thrash all the Speed Metal laws out, playing faster as hell their own speedest songs, complex riffs and melodic solos gets Dave Mustaine a genius category in Heavy Metal music, even his current drug abuse at the time, he could perform his speedy/complex/melodic guitar playing style. MegaDave is the Riff MASTER, period.
Yeah i was there. Got into arena with tickets and our seats were not there, the mixing desk was, so we had to go down the front.Mike Muir and Suicidal Tendencies were the highlight for me.Testament were below par.Ticket was £24.00 now they would be over £100. Took us 8 hours to get there from Penzance. Worth every second. \m/\m/
Tickets were actually £12.50 per person.
Were they... I remember handing £24 to a mate. Probably paid for his.
C Homer 4 awesome bands for 12.50 its a shame you cant get good value like that at gigs now
I was there on this night, got the Rock Bus down from Sunderland. Great memories.
Damn they were so tight, especially on Hanger 18, so perfect it makes me want to cry, an amazing night R.I.P Nick M...
The Drummmer, Ohh my God that's insane.
My first time there, seeing all four bands. A night that will never be forgotten 🖤🤘
Me too. Saw slayer on their final tour too. Lump in the throat at the end of the concert
Thanks for posting the set list
Best MD lineup ever!
I remember their 1990 tour with Judas priest and Testament. That was very intense displays of pure thrash metal.
i was there. fuckin ace. every band killed it
+eon14873 Fucking lucky!...
+JE SN me 2
I was there too....amazing night, remember Jeff Hanneman of Slayer had guitar problems that night.
IANFRUMTARN ha ha i think he threw at at a roadie. i remember mandatory suicide with searchlights fucking awesome
Alice in Chain, Slayer, Anthrax, and megadeth. Springfield,Illinois
always room for Jello!
I was there…16 years old and my first time seeing live bands…had a great time…I also remember meeting Megadeth in a record shop in the Bullring Shopping Centre to sign my records and tapes…think that was a few days before? Rust in Peace 🤘🏼
I was in that crowd when I was 14 years old. I'm 46 now and my ears are still ringing
Thanks for posting Oldskoolrocker.
What a gig this was, Megadeth and Slayer were note perfect and were both on top form.
I was over the moon to see Testament too as I had the Souls of Black Tape playing constantly over & over on my Walkman.
We were right at the back of the hall and I remember watching the distant Drummer's hitting their drum's and it wasn't until a second later that the sound hit us.
This didn't spoil anything though, I mean Slayer,Megadeth and Testament on the same bill in the UK, it does'nt get much better.
One of the BEST CONCERT Megadeth have ever performed and made. Fucking great!!!!!!!
best perfomance, best setlist, best line up, best everything!
One of the many great lineups this band has had. I hope Dave and Marty get a chance to down a few beers and just get pumped at how freaking amazing this stuff was every now and then. They have so much to be proud of!
That said, I think Megadeth is amazingly in great form and Marty's stuff is smoking... Also, highly recommend Nick Mensa's potato club performance with Ohm where former Megadeth alumni, Chris Poland (one of my favorite guitarists) just kills it.
Top shelf stuff, class act every last one of them!
Finally watching this, after I lost $65 through magazine ads in RIP magazine! That was the only way to watch bootlegs.
Kickass Show!!!
Hammersmith Odeon, London, England on March 25, 1991 from the Oxidation of the Nations Tour - next time I saw them - AMAZING
DAVE THE GODFATHER OF HEAVY METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE BEST GUITAR PLAYER IN HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I wish to go back and see this lineup of Megadeth.
the best band in all history ( in those times)
I was there what a great gig
At the time, all the talk was about who was actually headlining the 'Clash of the Titans' Tour, Slayer or Megadeth... On this night Slayer headlined, however Megadeth absolutely wrecked their night as they blew Slayer to kingdom come... As a massive Slayer fan I had to concede to the awesome power put on show by Megadeth that night... I cannot believe I have found a filming of this gig some 31 years later, well done OldskoolRocker74!!!
I was there, 15yrs old all on my own. Thanks for sharing this brings back memories ❤
Best intro ever!
I was lucky enough to be there, testament were the bollox, Megadeth were amazing and Slayer were freakin note perfect.
What a great gig this was, thanks for posting Rocker73
Is footage of Slayer here anywhere?
OMFG, opening with Rattlehead \m/
GOLDEN DAYS...
I was there 1990, awesome gig still got my 'Clash of the Titans' tee-shirt. Slayer and Suicidal Tendencies were my favourite on the night .
wow - only just found this - I was also in attendance and in March in 1991 on the Oxidisation of Nations tour and then 1992 with Pantera supporting . . . also went to the signing meet they did in HMV in Manchester and got my Oxidisation of Nations tour program signed . . . awesome memories! :)
@tbagger91 ..it was Slayer straight after this set...lol
I was there!
I was at the Wembley show. immense! I forgot that they opened with this Jello biafra/black sabbath dialogue. you'll never see a line up like that again unfortunately.
Hey AUB Code, well yes at the time it cost around £25.00! No fans didn't get to meet the bands back then, it was very tightly organised and security was high but the 'Clash' gig at the N.E.C was amazing, we'll sadly never see anything like it again. If Metallica, Anthrax, Overkill and Exodus had also toured at the same time then it would have been Metal History
I was there
i was at this gig. I remember Jeff Hanneman having a torid time with his guitars and losing it, big time! Megadeth were freakin' awesome!!
ForestGlyn yes i remember his guitars where fucking up an lost it smashed it on the stage
Anthrax sang « They say rap and metal can never mix » but Megadeth opened the show with « Shut Up, Be Happy » spoken by Jello Biafra, the opening track from Ice-T’s « Freedom of Speech » released a year before!!!!
I still have my clash of the titans t-shirt. This concert was kick ass!
I don't know how anyone cannot like this music..It hits you like a ton of bricks seers through your veins..Great stuff! Sooo much feeling and intensity..Love it And I love Dave Mustaine's stage presence..for as must speed and intensity he stays so calm..
Awesome! Such a great video!
Fucking awesome drum cam at The Conjuring!!! \m/ Nick Menza rocks!!! \m/
Still f**king AMAZING!!!!
someone went into the past and has recorded this with a smartphone, security thought it was a small mirror.

This was an amazing concert, can't believe it was 21 years ago
Man, I was at the front with a plaster cast on my arm, which i tore off the next day as it was just mashed!! And i have just checked, & yes i still have that first plectrum which Mustaine threw into the crowd that night! But Suicidal did it for me, they were the fucking best band on that stage that night (in my opinion anyway)! Good memories man.....
I was there 17 yrs old first concert brings back great memories 🤘🤘
the band of my life, best band in history I have no doubts
RATTLE YOUR GODDAMN HEAD
Oh wow .. when they were on fire they really SLAYED.
Nick Menza was a beast on the drums.
R.I.P
I would recognize Jello Biafra´s voice everywhere (the intro speech).
I was front and center against the fence directly in front of this and Slayer (opened for MD) when Clash of the Titans was in Lakeland, FL. They opened with Holy Wars for us .......great vid!
..soo fu....ng cool! Rust tour..👏👏
I saw this tour at Red Rocks, Denver. AWESOME!!!!!! As far as the camera goes.....you just have to be smarter than security. I have my footage ;)
Took an exchange student from Spain to see this show at BlossomMusicCenter outside of Cleveland, they all killed it that day!
Epic epic performance!!
In their prime............AWESOME.........
met up with mustaine after this gig, had a brief chat, got my ticket signed, seemed like a nice guy
Proud to say I was there unbelievable gig🤘🤘
Jesus Christ!!!! I don't think it gets any more intense than the second half of Hangar 18!
I wish I could go back in time to see that tour on those glory days, I miss this line up, I was luck to see back in 1991 rock in rio with priest , Nick/Marty I miss u guys a lot, today I call MEGADEAD.
I was there in that insane moshpit! ^^
+David Batey Me too :)
+Richard Prescott How old were you? I was 22
+David Batey Never did the mosh pit, to scary for me...It looks fun though, to watch it is great
I was 21. The moshpit was crazy.
+EveryZEPalbum I was 17!
The last encore was brutal!
I was at this very concert on October 13, 1990 awesome music at a great time. Testament, Suicidal Tendencies & Slayer where also playing only thing I can remember was a red inverted cross came down on stage while Slayer played Black Magic totally epic show.
Went to clash of the titans at arco arena in Sacramento ca in 91. Anthrax Slayer Megadeth alice in chains
opened I was 24. Best fuckin concert I've ever seen by far@
Thanks for this I was at this gig, all the bands were awesome but Suicidal particularly so. I dislocated my thumb in the pit during 'Send Me Your Money' so previously had only vague blurry memories of this due to the pain medicine I got from the bar. Happy days!
l'un des tout meilleur concert de ce groupe mythique...MEGADETH FOR EVER!!!!!
golden years! i wish was born for see Megadeth at this show
Absolute classic moment @7:11. Loved this tour, thanks for sharing it!
Went to this aged 16 -was one of the best gigs i've ever been to. Megadeth stole the show! R.I.P Menza!

Oldskoolrocker74.....
Megadeth, which,
according to my
bands, bands
that never dies,
because
Megadeth has
always made me
inspired.
I went to this at Wembley, fucking amazing...Suicidal Tenancies blew me away..all were good memories, thanks for sharing!!!
Now that's some real state of the art, precision guided speed metal!
I was there.brilliant.
The gig my mum wouldn't let me go to because I was too young. Thanks mum! She let me see them the year after though, thankfully with this line up, which in my eyes is the best line up Megadeth ever had.
