Unless you are a high-end agency I don't understand this business model! You need to sell a SOLUTION, not a website! A website by itself does nothing to a business. You need to diversify offering other services like SEO, Advertising, Social Media Management, Content Writing, etc. You don't even have to do it yourself, outsource them. SEO packages can go from $500 to $1900 a month every month. I was a starving Web Designer until I understood this. 😉

And sell those recurring services on the backend?
I agree. You are leaving low hanging fruit on the tree and missing out on a lot of recurring income
@@gavinwiener this part! Start with your website, then offer SEO, maintenance, etc. I did freelance websites as a side hustle to a regular 9 to 5 and got maybe a client or 2 a month and then another month without. But when I started offering other services my income increased.

Great video, thanks for sharing it. The most important thing for SMMA is to have some kind of strategy (for example I use some boosting tools, like a little bit of Famester here and there, and it really helps massively). The best thing is that clients are not complaining as long as they see good results.

Be careful with most of the American software stuff because it's mostly illegal anyway in the European Union. GDPR is no joke and it could work but at some point you're going to face legal issues. Americans don't care because there's mostly no data protection laws. Some exceptions are states like Calfiornia but that's not comparable to the EU. Maybe take a look at Torben Platzers new podcast episodes and check him out. He does it in Germany.

Hey Juan, love your content! I have a quick question. You mentioned that we shouldn't design a whole website for one single person because obviously it will be very time consuming, but then you said that to close the client, you invite them to a loom call and show them the website you made for them. I am confused as to whether we should design a whole website for them and then show them it on the loom call, or only partially design a website and show that to the client on the loom call. Hopefully this makes sense. Jake
Hey Jake so I create a website template that I can quickly duplicate, but when doing outreach I just use the canva template because it still takes quite a bit of time to edit a website and change all the names and photos just to do one outreach

Agree that service delivery is super easy and have 100% profit margins. BUT the number of clients, if they all pay you $50 a month, you need here to get to $10k are 200! Ridiculous amount for a manual agency like yours. It works for companies like wix and and stuff, but for small companies like yours it's gonna be a while till you get to a solid monthly income with this.
Either way wish you success.
it would help if they charged an upfront cost for the setup. For example 999 dollars and then the monthly costs.
This would atleast get some cashflow, but then its still a long journey.
The point is he is gaining more clients per month, as long as you find the right strategy to get at least a few more clients per month and charging at $3,400 for a amazing quality website upfront he will easily be making the 10k a month he is nearly there

You can continue learning to code, trust me it helps, especially with customization and uniqueness of the site, this often helps in branding and standing out from all the other similar looking sites. I would say pay focus to learning HTML and CSS. Specifially CSS for styling and branding.

What do you tell the client if they ask you what you created their website on like which platform do you say ghl or nah?
+ an issue I also see is that you will need to have 100 customers to be able to have a 10k per month reocurring income. Seems difficult.

what are you offering in these websites that can't be done for free on wix or something? Like this is just a personal business card website no? You don't include a "My Listings" idx section?
Why would you send them the loom? If they’re interested, tell them it’s not live and show them on a call. Then you have an easy booked meeting and can start the sales process.
Hey Juan I have a question. So I am wanting to make websites for businesses with a Niche that would require their customers to be able to check out on their site. How would I be able to ensure that the client continues to pay me my monthly fee after I allow them to control the website? Do I have to make them sign a contract or what?
Yeah you can create a contract exactly, and explain to them that for the website to run it needs a server to host it which costs x amount per month. Set the expectations before you close them

You only need the Pro plan which gives you unlimited sub accounts
you can probably start with the starter plan which gives you 3 sub accounts and upgrade to the pro plan once you get the 4th client.

Yeah so those technical videos I’ll upload to the inner circle, and once you’re in the unlimited plan highlevel doesn’t charge you to host websites or to add more clients

Would you say i need a decent amount of capital to build a WAAS
I wish people in my country had a better understanding of how a website could help their business. Most starting a business here couldn't care less and think all they need is a FB page. For this reason, making a living doing websites is hard. Either they want it really cheap or not at all.
do you create multiple templates? Wont everyone have the same one just different names and images? Surely they want something unique?
We change them so they all look unique, yeah none of our clients have the same website
