I have stopped at Ford lake several times in the past few years and always thought this such a cool spot and they even have little motorcycles on the sign making me feel most welcome. So I would like to thank your friend Nick for letting us bikers share his little bit of paradise.
@@RedRiderCanadaBC Are there any fish in that Lake? I found it on Google Maps. I see there is a rather Large Lake that Parallels the Highway you rode on from your City. You live near the Mountains which means you have a lot of Curvy roads. I like to Rip on the Curves on my Buell but I can take curves way of the speed limit before it gets fun. Are there a lot of Police and Speed Traps in Canada? In the USA in almost all states Radar Detectors are Legal. For that Matter, I normally ride with a pew pew. The one Hand Gun I don't own is a 44 Mag. I want to get one before I camp in Bear Country. I planed to ride to Alaska to visit my Uncle, but he died from Cancer. Two of his Marathon running friends were killed by a Grizzley .. Marci Trent and her Son. Maric and her first Husband were Homesteaders they lived off from the Land. I probably sent you an article about the Grizzley Attack in the Chugiak State Park. They were running and that makes you look like pretty to a Grizzly . Truth was that Grizzly had killed a Moose next to the hiking trail and was guarding it.
Back in the 1960's we took some stuff off to the dump and my dad found a whole case four gallon cans of olive drab paint. It was real Army paint. He painted everything with that paint.The barn was olive drab, he even painted his 1960 Dodge work truck with that paint. Our deisel fuel tank for our home furnace. Mama said she was glad when we finally used it up. It was some of the best paint. You never had to repaint.😃😆
Awesome place, I would love to hangout and relax at a place like that once in awhile. To just sit by the grill and smell the smoked meat would be heavenly. 😊 peace ✌️

Good morning 🌅, Angel, great ride amazing scenery, and oh what memories?, Believe it or not I’ve done similar things to what you and your dad and friends or did many years ago., yes my first pushbike came rubbish tip, I even remember putting a piece of hose pipe inside the tire because I couldn’t afford the tube to go inside it, Wooden fence seat in the van and used to slide around on it couldn’t hang onto anything you’d fall onto the floor, oh what memories?, Stay safe., France.
Outstanding!!!! So cool,,, me and 5 other riders rode up in nova scota back in 1985. People were fantastic we were camping near the bay of fondy and locals were bringing us food. We toned down the party out of respect because there kids were there,,, great video

What a great ride Angel and your buddy Nick to open it up for fellowship of bikers is awesome. Did i hear him say that on any given weekend that there's 200+ people gathered there and it still looks that pristine just goes to show that if you do take care of a place and not take advantage of it that maybe more people would open up places like this to be able to just rest up after a nice days ride. And one more delicious tip: throw ordinary potatoes into red coals, of course, cover the potatoes with coals to completely hide them (so that there is no fire in the campfire) and just bake these potatoes, and then eat them together with the peel, it is very useful and delicious. Beautiful country and beautiful folks! Such a nice destination for bike riders who wanna enjoy the scenery and maybe dipping their toes in the water. I love how you can be in town one minute and out in the hills in the blink of your eyes! Most riders have to travel a long ways to get out in the country, and if it's like where I live the country is disappearing to subdivisions being built. Loved your video and your growing up stories, back when times were so much simpler than the world we live in today. I remember those times being a kid. Ride that Shovel and stay safe! Peace!

You are not allowed in the Landfill for Liability reasons. When I go to the scrap yard sometimes I find some good steel tubing ect.. I just put it in the back of my truck and I get it for the same price they paid me for what I dropped off because they weight my truck loaded and empty . My Family had a 1971 Ford LTD .. It has really easy power steering and super grabby power brakes.. A horse ran out into the road and my sister grabbed the steering wheel while my father was driving and almost crashed the car. I have a Go Pro 8 . I figured the newer ones are so much more complicated that they break and crash more .
@@RedRiderCanadaBC I like my Go Pro II it has an on off button and it works well." I thought I studied the Go Pro's well and a Ordered a Go Pro 8. When I got it , it had a battery that is not replaceable. What on Earth. I try not to use Amazon , but I bought it on Amazon and sent it back and got a Go Pro 8 Black instead. This one you can change the batter in a few seconds. I have a charger that charges 3 batteries at the same time. I have used it almost not at all and have yet tried to edit a video. Also of course it kept turning off when I did try to use it. I don't have a phone holder on my bike .. but you can turn it on an off from your phone with an app I believe.
That is such a kool place. Wish we had something like that in my area. Best memories when I was a kid in the late 60's-early 70's was going to the dump or junk yards with my dad. They don't even call them junk yards anymore. They're auto salvage yards. LOL

The bandana doesn't hide your girly-ness a bit :) It's a shame that kids won't know the joys of remembering trying to get into the "hump seats" in the back of a pickup. Our great lands have become too "civilized" to allow people the freedom of riding in the back of a pickup without becoming an outlaw.
In the first minute of the video, the guy was frying meat on fire. Guys, let me share the recipe with you. Firewood is needed from fruit trees so that the smoke is fragrant. Take raw meat (pork, beef or chicken - who likes what). Cut the meat into medium pieces, cut the onion into rings, sprinkle it with black allspice to have a light aroma, be sure to mix it all with your hands so that the onion gives its juice. And leave this mixture for a few hours, always in a saucepan with a lid. Light a fire (there should be a lot of firewood so that there are a lot of coals). Wait until the fire stops so that there are only red, heated coals. Spread this meat on a barbecue grid and fry this meat until it is ready, but so that there is no strong fire (Meat is fried on coals).
