What Are Observability and Monitoring Differences

How does Observability differs from Monitoring? There are many definitions and explanations that sort of explain it, but still leave you wondering because it all sounds the same.
Let me try to explain this to you as I understand it with simple examples.

Hi Dmitri, good question.
I think Observability it's something more related to the APM world (you are right, it's a trace).
Monitoring it's a more legacy world to say "control a specific component" and does not provide a meaningful explaination on what will happening to your app.
I will try to create a video about that, thanks for the good inspiration :-)
