Love that observation platform. Even the trash cans were cool! That IS an old mill. There is a mill similar to that in Arkansas where I think they filmed a scene from gone with the wind. Super cool! Rocking in a chair eating an ice cream. Great way to wind down the day.

I have not seen a time lapse with a drone shot before. Bravo - that was a RUclips first for me. The view from there is so pretty. The mill looks amazing, and this was really good informaton about how to get there! I've just been in Raleigh once but that was definitely not for hiking or viewing historical landmarks. Awesome to see what else there is to see there!

@@SharingtheRoad Oh, that was AGES ago... Early 2000s, when I traveled all around the eastern parts. I think I wouldn't recognize anything at all now! Not that I do remember much of it anyway to be honest :)
