I can’t help but miss that classic boots on the ground black ops 2 movement. It was simple and effective. But innovation is cool or whatever
Exactly. They need to stop trying to improve the movement. Cod was at its peak when aim and positioning was more important than movement.
@@Ant_Dawgg I’d agree, I’d rather die to a camper than be simply outgunned and outplayed by people who devote more energy to that game than I’d care to
@@Luchiiso you suck is what your saying?
@@parodoxtectal8975 essentially, I think the game needs a low skill floor otherwise matches are just sweatfests against people who play that shit allllllllll day, that’s not fun.
@@Luchii id say just remove sbmm
Killing floor 2 had that movement in 2015
This type of movement has been around for a cool minute... like ghost recon wildlands & earlier
Max payne but in a cold war ambience
"Gulf" war
More like helldivers
Man playing Max Payne 3 multiplayer was soo badass
Resident Evil 6 said hello
Devs saw heldivers 2 and went"write that down WRITE THAT DOWN!!!"
Ghost recon did it first tho so helldiver's aint shit
@@trolltime2128Max Payne did this shit first and Payday did it before Ghost Recon.
@@wxl2562 i had completely forgotten about max pain but was unaware you could do so in payday because iv never played a payday game
@@trolltime2128 that's fair, only Payday 2 had a skill that let you run and jump while moving in any direction, it was one of those things that you had to unlock so it wasn't a default movement thing. Kind of like Dying Light which I'm pretty sure has a skill like that. Payday 1 and 2 are still pretty fun though, just straight up planning and robbing banks, cooking up drugs, kind of like a first person GTA heist, but you have more freedom and control with your planning and execution. Also a lot of guns. They've prob been doing the extended weapon customization longer than any other game too.
@@wxl2562 oh i didn't know that it kinda sounds lit
Payday 2 ahh movement💀
Tf you mean
Rainbow seoge ahhh movement
@@Bxrninglazer_edits you can't sprint in all 4 directions in r6
@@azraellive3595 in payday 2 you can sprint in all directions with a skill
@@the.apple.guy_ i meant the prone mechanic
I cant wait for black ops 6 but i am a bit sad the skins and camos and ranks wont carry over
Only in Warzone. They're just re-doing what they did with WZ1 but calling each Warzone update a "new game" even though in 2-3 years from now, y'know they're just gonna start fresh again, make you rebuy a bunch of battle passes and microtransactions, have you buy the new games you won't be able to use your skins from the last one in. They figured out how to weaponize microtransactions and now they can't and won't stop because people keep buying them. Just quit buying CoD Points my man, you don't need them battle passes.
Every year they come out and say movements back in COD lol
Helldivers 2 ahh movement
I was just about to say it’s just helldivers
Max Payne, Payday, pretty sure Dying Light had a skill that let you run in all directions too.
Okay, ill keep an open mind on this one it seems like really cool comcept, it all depends how the campaign and multiplayer behave, and if the gun sounds dont sound like airsoft guns like in cold war
Movement is gonna be the best it will ever be i will DEFINETLY be having the setting on at all times
People who will be complaining about this will be the same people saying “it’s the same game every year”
I mean they're not wrong
For a while it pretty much has
It pretty much is my guy. Gotta be blind to not see that. MW'19 was the drastic change we all wanted to see and got it. Cold War was a step back, but let us compare the new changes to the old. But now they're just using all of the mechanics and features of the most recent engine, there's no gameplay variety. We all thought we'd start seeing more drastic and innovative changes after MW'19, see some new gameplay elements, different themes and stories, new characters and new gadgets and weapon types.
They're also just re-using assets from Cold War, which is lazy af.
If you think multidirectional movement inputs makes the game drastically different than they got you on their hook like a tooth and claw. This is just Cold War but they added a few new weapons, some new maps and updated the movement to feel more like a modern game. Basically paying full price for a DLC and a gameplay update, again.
I doubt it will
At least this time it'll be on gamepass so you don't have to pay 70 bucks
Why do people hate movement so much?
Only thing I'm real worried about is the automatic shifting. Does this mean they got rid of mounting and canting entirely? There's no way it's not gonna be bugged, you'll be creeping around corners and your guy will be turning his gun the opposite way you want to see, sticking your scope right in a mound of debris, happened so much in Battlefield there's a reason games that have it, have it tied to a button input. Hopefully it can be turned off just like mounting and canting; if they're even gonna be in the game too. Oh and SBMM. They got that Max Payne, Payday type movement, super sprint in a Black Ops, bringing back Stims AGAIN, somehow gonna make the dolphin dive / slide combos work WITH the new movement, but still keeping SBMM and EOMM features in the game. Game gonna be an absolute sweat fest.
They're gonna have to do something to rebalance zombies too because jogging backwards just makes training a hundred times easier than it already was. If it's anything like Cold War, or Vanguard, than it's just gonna be easy, which ain't all that fun.
No point in playing action hero if we're all playing as Deadpool, cancer included.
Max Payne did that like 20 years ago
Do they still have tac sprint?
YUP
Basically helldivers 2 mechanics
I'm a big trickshot guy and I can't wait for some of these diving animations
Oh they figured out rainbow sixes movement which is only Over a decade old
How is this even close to rainbow six movement?
@@trapiz9356 it was a joke, but if you want to know what I meant prone is omni in siege
Battlefield was doing multi-directional prone and crouch before Rainbow Six.
I’m excited for this one. Just for them to finally change up the game a bit and take some risks. Won’t be pre ordering it just because I never pre order games, but I’ll get it shortly after launch, once the initial patches and stuff come through
It’s full name is Omni directional movement
Didnt battlefield V do this like... 5 years ago?
Can you add running backwards?
Isnt this just helldivers 2 movement?
Like you see in Battlefield?
Ah yes because I’m mw3 I couldn’t move at all I just had to look around hoping someone landed near me
Can the devs make up something new that’s not stolen from other games like helldivers in this example
I AM SO HYPED but... the three bad things are... You cant dive backwards or run backwards.. and laying down enables campers like no other game with the free look omni movement, and the map shown in this video it looks like a radar dish in the desert is going to be a campers paradise I already see it but everything else is SO HYPE
So guys it took them how many years to think if this? Jeez BF 1 had better movement 😂
As long as I give us a good campaign and a multiplayer that they actually care about ill play it
Max Payne
ITS NOT BRANDNEW
They need to stop trying to reinvent movement. COD was at its peak when people were more worried about positioning and aim. Now all people are worried about is movement. COD lost its identity a long time ago.
Yeah, they quit trying to do mil-sim stories after they saw how much money MW'19 made. They really thought people didn't want the campaigns, heated and engaging matches, just anime and furry skins and matches that only take two minutes to finish.
Nobody that plays CoD cares about gameplay anyway, kids just wanna shoot something but don't like dying instantly, or having to wait to get into a gunfight.
Fuck no they're gonna make this shit unplayable by giving the megasweat movement demons even more shit to play around with noooooo lmao
Just get good and adapt
Sure but will aim assist be nerfed?
Im sorry, "back"? These mechanics are entirely new to cod. How could movement be "back" if this has never been in cod?
Make a game, remaster/tweak and release that same game every month. Infinite money glitch cod players are fuckin sheep 😭 ion need to play $60 for an update lol
Never have been the first to comment on a populars persons vidoe
This and the 300 GB is the reason I'm gonna symtay gone from cod
Sure this sounds great but please leave it out of warzone. The movement is good as is.
Dayz ahh movement 💩
Already know this game is gonna be ass
Y’all rides cod every year it come out just for it make a billion dollars and be the same game it was the year before they make billions on the games and give us shit like jumping in the air like wtf????
Thank goodness seems cool console not really any different for key players tho
What are you smoking? Mnk can't sprint in every direction rn🤣
@@MadMikeVidzjust gonna see a whole new insurgence of controller players on PC now.
Especially if they don't get rid of SBMM or add any matchmaking settings.
@wxl2562 it's already a huge amount of controller players on pc aim assist is to strong to not use its one of the reasons I quit cod I swapped back to controller after 4 years off and it was stupidly insane how easy it was
Trash
They should make it to where you move like you do in real life. Not all this extra bullshit
