I find it hilarious how a guy in bo1 gets brutally stabbed in the eye and lives and starts fighting minutes later like nothing happened and meanwhile in mw2 the general dies instantly.

Cause it was "just" a cigarette in black ops. Nothing fatal. Just really, really blinding & painful.

I just looked it up and it was a guy named weaver in bo1, you and woods zoom in on him tied to a chair with your binoculars and he gets stabbed in the eye with a knife pretty deep with force.

here’s a simple mistake Treyarch made.. in the mission “Crash Site”, while you’re driving the boat, there’s a song that plays.. the song is called Sympathy For The Devil by The Rolling Stones. NOTE: the mission date was February 11th, 1968.. BUT, the song did not release until December 6th, 1968.. whoopsie daisy Treyarch lmao. oh and here’s another mistake Treyarch made, Black Ops 3 & 4.

I remember this game having a lot of plot twists. It was a fun campaign, I just thought it was slightly unbelievable.
I just remembered how epic the older cod (mw2, black ops and mw3) stories were and all the plot twists within.
6,7,8 are considered newer cods...
When it comes to CoD, the word "newer" only really applies to the 2 latest CoDs. CoD 6 (MW2) is not exactly "new" and neither is Black Ops.
I'm going to disagree but I have been following the series longer than most.

No, CoD haters say that shooting legs has more damage then the head (true) and lot's of other true things. Like the face that thet get away with pretty much making the same exact game every year, only actually improving 1 thing. Which is also true. Now when it comes to the story....well they basically just say it sucks...
Mikealangelo Youghbor realism isn't everything...and cod is fine...the formula in the gamplay is perfect...the only problems are the lag and connection issues and the OP weapons...
sometimes I wish hey would go bck to the 3 killstreak layout and a minimal amount of weapons...

I'll be the first to talk about how realism isn't everything. You do have to admit that 1 hit kills from legs is annoying. The whole innovation thing is another point on why I feel they get away with making the same thing every year. In my opinion of course.

Great story, hats off to the game developers. Great description of the events in the video, actually felt like crossing through the whole game in 5 mins, cant wait for black ops 2, black ops hands down the best FPS game Ive ever played!!

If anyone noticed, Dimitri, the friend of Reznov that is killed by nova 6, is the guy you play as in Call of Duty-World at War. remember that sniper mission where they met? That mission where he dies was very sad, but made this storyline AMAZING!
I played a bit of black ops 1 and 2 all I have to say was the story was confusing but memorable

Going Hunting was a pretty good mission is BF3. And the scene where two fellow soldiers died from a gun run was also emotional. I thought the BF3 campaign was great.

I freaked when i found out reznov was a hallucination the entire game. It made me sad cuz he was like your buddy through out the game. Then I played waw after bo1 and was even more attached to the character.

Best campaign ever. The story probably beats Mass Effect, purely because it was so down to earth and gritty. That, and it featured sunglasses and 'Nam vets with bandanas. Also, Deer Hunter is the best war movie ever, even though only 20 minutes of it are in the Vietnam war.
Please so this for Bo2 when Bo3 comes out.

Almost in the end of the game,when mason escapes the chair...you can hear hudson saying.."Reznov's dead mason...he died during the escape from vorkuta"...but mason was brainwashed,thinking that reznov was with him from the beggining to the end :)

World at war is apart of the black ops story line. I don't understand why people always forget that
The campaign for this was fuckin unreal the missions were All class and the storyline was brilliant

At the end is how the credits for black ops shoulda came on
So one thing that doesn't match up is why was Hudson interrogating mason to find out what the numbers mean when Steiner told Hudson before that they were supposed to activate sleepers.
Lucas Shepard He thought that by listening to the numbers, Mason would be able to remember where they were broadcast from.

The fact that Halo 4 is getting 10/10's, will last YEARS instead of A year like CoD, has map editor with a huge community, has MLG supporting it, has a weekly episodes for a separate campaign, has fantastic addictive SKILL-FULL multi-player, has a dedicated dev team and is all round getting positive feedback PROVES it is better than the milked out CoD games which come out every year.
Mw1, mw2 and BO1 had the best cod campaigns. My fav being bo1. BO Cold war in less then half hour!! So hype!

It's to get people caught up for BO2. It's right on time. Basically everyone and their mother bought BO1 two years ago, and probably found this stuff out on their own, this is just a refresher.

Did anyone else notice that Reznov is a character from Cod WaW and his best friend is Damitri which is also a character from Cod WaW. All Treyarch games are connected together. Anyone else think this?

Reznov explains this in the game, when he talks about how dimitry and him conquered Berlin.
That was not just any close friend he watch died.... Viktor and him both fought through the Eastern Front and saved each others life again and again until... Well... They stormed Berlin and he raised the Soviet flag over the capitol. He was not just a close friend... but a hero for Russia and hero of the Allies
