    Hi Paul, great video. I’ve gotta change my car door on my Seat Leon FR same MK as this one. Would a normal Seat Leon mk3 door fit on an FR model? And is that the same for the Leon estate (could I get a door from a Leon estate)? Thanks

    Just found your channel yesterday and have already watched more than 2/3 of your videos. Loving all your videos Paul! Really excited to see what’s to come. 100k subscribers this year I bet. Also thanks for helping with the Copart videos. I’ve bought a couple of cars to flip already from them and learnt things I didn’t know from your videos. In the future if possible for ideas do live bidding which I find really cool to watch. Just another curiosity. Do you have a traders license or you just sell the cars privately? That’s the only scary thing I’m having flipping cars is that I don’t have a traders license as I’m only 17 and can’t apply for one till 18 and I’ve heard you can get fined if the council/dvla find outs. However all cars I flip aren’t in my name. Copart gives the V5 in the other persons name if it’s on file so it’s easier to sell them quick. Many thanks Paul

      And you may think how I bid on Copart as I’m not 18 yet. I just made an account on my dads name. So I bring him every time I buy a car.

      Wow, I am impressed, you don't need a traders license to sell cars, however, you do need to ensure that you work on the cars on your property and not on any public roads or the vehicle will need to be taxed and insured. and if you will be working on the car for a while before selling the car you need to declare it as SORN to DVLA, any profit you make on the cars is regarded as income so you will need to tell HMRC, finally make sure you don't upset your neighbours because if they complain to the council, the council have the right to stop you working. hope this helps and keep watching the channel. 😃👍

    Great video super useful. Just wondering when you remove the car door do you need to disconnect the car battery and or door airbags to prevent electrocution and or a blast from the airbag? As some RUclipsrs where saying that but some videos don't. Just want to make sure I don't get a nasty shock. Also if you have to disconnect the car door airbags could you please do a video on it as I cant find it online.

      It depends on the car, the Seat had pressure sensors so I would disconnect the battery, but the golf didnt.

      Hi, I’m just wondering if your able to give me a little bit of advice?
      My boyfriend has a seat Leon SE mk3 (63 plate) and the folding wing mirrors are not working, we have put a new switch with the folding option and we put new folding wing mirrors on that were brought from a seat dealership, however they are still not working we have been told that the wiring loom might need to be changed as on the left wing mirror (the folding one) it has two plugs but we only have something that will plug in to one, is there anything at all you would be able to suggest to get them to work?

    Hi quick question I wanted to know what the letters mean written on Windscreens in Copart cars?

    • @CarsForPaul
      @CarsForPaul  5 лет назад +1

      There are 5 letters that Copart uses to describe their cars. R, F, S, A, and E. Rather than me fill a whole page explaining what each letter represents, I have attached a link below explaining every Copart term used in their descriptions.
