- Guide on how to remove the front drivers side window switch pack and wing mirror adjustment switch / knob, on a Seat Leon Mk3 (5F), models 2013-2019.
Models years: 2013 / 2014 / 2015 / 2016 / 2017 / 2018 / 2019
The interior door card panel needs to be removed first, to gain access to the switches. The model in the video is a right hand drive vehicle, but the process for a left hand drive model is the same (although mirrored).

Great video, just successfully changed window switches as were water damaged. Job took less than an hour with this step by step. Appreciated saved a good few bucks on a garage.
This works, I just followed it and it works well. Don't attempt it without trim tools to avoid damage. Hardest part for me was getting the door card off took some effort and then putting it back on those round clips are so tricky ...but it works

Thanks for the video, explained very well. Be aware the switches for golf have white leds and not red like seat, as I just found out but no big deal

Brilliant video, easy to follow. Had my switches sorted easy peasy....apart from the fucking clips to separate the plastic switch housing from the leather trim 🤦🏻♂️😂

Window switch driver side part number for Leon FR SC (5F5) - 5G0959858A. It can be replaced with part 5G0959858G from Golf Mk7, which is more easily available and therefore cheaper.
Really good informative video. Easy to follow and helped me change my window switch within an hour. Undersells how fiddly some bits are mind but that’s probably my incompetence more than anything 😅

Great video, used it today to help me, however when I removed switches, the remains of peppermints sweets fell out, obviously the mrs has dropped a sweet and instead of lifting out decided to push the buttons that hard the bottom was pushed off the switch base 😂

Hi wondering if you can help? So I have changed my main switch but unfortunately it lights up white and it should be red. How do I know what colour it lights up when buying or can I change the circuit board from old one. Your video was perfect as well. Thank

my drivers side window button has stopped working.. £300 at the seat garage or attempt myself..
so I did it myself for £30 broke a few bits of plastic here and there.. nothing major window works now, so thanks!
