Hey, that loop is really nice. I did this about 2 years back but started from Aberfoyle and a got that big climb up the Rob Roy way out of the way first! Then a nice ride over to Callander and back via Brig O'Turk. Either way its a great loop. Thanks for sharing. 👍

Fantastic video. I completed this loop last year on a mtb. Ripped off both soles (cable tied back on) over the technical bog after Aberfoyle. Great day out.

Thanks for the positive feedback, great to hear. The knee is healing better than my pride - falling off in seemingly innocous places seems to be my forte!

It's lovely around there. I need to get back there more often.

Did you get an ice cream from the farm at Achray just after you left Brig o'Turk? Just where you were seeing all the signs about 'wrong way' & 'gps error'. I had one there in the summer: my first time ever eating goats milk ice cream and it was amazing!

Great Video.. I’m going to Aberfoyle in 6 weeks to do some gravel etc. so was intrigued by this route. The section where you said you had no entrance etc? Is there a way around it if the farmer is non compliant… thanks Colin

Hi, I think it was more to do with cars accidentally driving up that bit of track to get to the forest drive. For cycling I am pretty sure it's fine - it was just the signage was a bit confusing I think.
