The world is really an interesting place. Here in Brazil, you can purchase such a item, handmade, the exactly way you want, by sort of U$ 30,00. But tins of pipe tobacco, that are so cheap at USA, are absurd over here (let's take on Bradley's favorite - Elizabethan mixture for sample, it costs U$ 9,15 at smokingpipes.com [USA], and R$ 169,90 at catalogocdc.com [a brazilian retailer], wich means U$ 54,98). Damn the government and it's taxes.
yesss Bradley this is a awesome pipe roll yes it's pricey but when I save some money I'll definitely put a order in for one it looks great and I like the look of it and the buckel is cool you did an excellent job Bradley on reviewing this product Thanks Happy Easter☺☺☺☺☺👍👍👍👍👍 best regards Peter.
Thanks smooove! Yes, a little pricey. Its the leather. The guy I have stitch these up uses really thick, durable leather, so it costs a bit more. Thanks for the compliments!
Thanks Bradley! I also have listed a few collectible Esoterica tins and pouches that I have been saving. Most have a few years of aging on them. A few have sold, but I still have a few left. I also have a few Germain blends ill list this week as well. Thanks for everyone's support!
Dude, I am BUYING one of these. Love that baseball style leather. Bradley your reviews are just awesome, always spot on, and thorough. Looking forward to the dunbar review
Order placed! Excellent review as always Bradley. I truly love hand crafted items like this. Made in low quantity with premium materials buy one guy's skilled hands right here in America. Well worth $115 in my opinion. People spend more than that over time replacing those cheap carry bags such as the ripped one in your video. This leather will last a lifetime +. I can't wait for it to come in!
Hi Brad, and thanks for the review, seems be quality stuff but pricey and even more if you're ordering it form europe+ most probably thers customs import payments due upon arrival, happily Savinelli produces pretty similar ones,as for me I'm more that old school going with roll up pouches pipe in one pocket along with tamper, but definitley this like is a must when on one is on prolonged journey, Greets, Paul
Hello Bradley, I think that the price may seem High . However to handcraft something like that it's definitely worth it. I think you gave it a fair and Honest Review. Great job as always.
Thomas that sounds like an Etsy mistake, and I am sorry! I think I have it corrected, and now shipping should be around $15-$16 dollars. If for some reason it still doesnt calculate correctly just send me a message and ill help. But for now it appears fixed. If you do wind up ordering Ill also throw in a couple extra bonuses... :)
Sweet! I bought a similar leather pipe roll just last month and I love the thing. Very similar to this but mine is a lighter shade of brown, and instead of a buckle it has a strap. I really enjoy using it, and it smells great, too!
I liked the look of this product, but not the belt buckle closure. Ordered a Rustic Leather Pipe Roll, from Craft and Lore online site, which uses a leather strap. Was five bucks more, plus ten for shipping USPS. Hopefully, it will be just as nice, but with the kind of strap closure I prefer. It also had more variety of pockets. This is becoming a more expensive hobby. Thank you for your informative videos, Bradley
