Wow ! I really appreciate that. When we were in Nassau, I took my son and wife away from the passengers to show them how the locals live. West Palm Beach is a nice town, my first time there. You give me energy to do more, as this is my #1 thing besides being a dad and husband.. Cool ! 🎵

Sundazed has a great ear for reissues. Check out The Daisy Chain, Straight or Lame on Sundazed. It’s outstanding 1967 all female psych soul with a northern soul sound. The OG is impossible to find and goes for $400+ in NM condition. That Gen X, Brian Ferry and Kinks are golden!! My favorite album from Gladys is Feelin’ Blusy. Thanks for takings us along! Steve.

Hi JT! Our last cruise was in 2021 when we did a 1 week Boston->Bermuda on Norwegian Cruise Lines. With Patty's air miles we had a nice upgrade to a suite. I've driven by Randy's Donuts several years ago, but didn't try it. They look great! Maple glazed! Southern California real estate! On a previous cruise to Bermuda in 2014 we were diverted to Nassau instead of our Bermuda destination due to a hurricane. It was in August, so not unexpected as that is when hurricane season begins! "Let's Stick Together" is a great Bryan Ferry album, and Chris Spedding plays on it. Very good you took it home. Nice bag the store gave you in West Palm Beach as well! ✌
Wow. Norwegian ! Only the upper crust tour on that line .. Haha 😉We did have a room with a deck, and the weather was perfect ! Next year, it's gonna be St. Thomas, Puerto Rico and some other port. The service on Carnival was 4 to 5 star.. Unreal, and I am a customer service veteran, very nice relaxing journey ! I just played the Brian Ferry LP yesterday.. It really is one of his best solo efforts, for sure ! Hit up Randy's donuts when in LA ( Inglewood store is the original )🍩

Great video travelog. I've spent a lot of time at Randy's Donuts on Manchester and more time in Hermosa Beach walking The Strand and eating at Martha's. It's my favorite place in Southern California. Rust & Wax looked great, very spacious and lot's of inventory. Nice vinyl haul and a wide variety at that. Looked like a excellent trip. I've been to Nassau once about 20 years ago and I loved it. Your show is great, keep them coming!

@@jtsrecordroom3963 I was born in Van Nuys and moved to Seattle when I was a kid. I still have family down there so I go to LA often. But if I ever moved back it would be in Hermosa Beach. I absolutely love that place. I've played in bands off and on for 40 years but only in Seattle. It's great that you traveled with a group, I always wanted to do that. A life experience that would be priceless!

We were really impressed with West Palm.. I left out the footage of your downtown, as this vid was already the longest I had ever done. I always like to support brick & mortars on occasion, as I tend to get good records for low prices, so I don't mind splurging once in awhile. I like that Brightline.. killer transit ! Thanks, Man.. Ben, I was impressed with Miami, and West Palm Beach is a nice, smaller Florida city. 70's Kinks are my favorites, only by a little over the great titles of the 1960s. I think I bought records at rust and Wax when I was in Miami. I agree about supporting local record Stores. A new one has opened up in Panama City Beach where my condo is and I bought about $100 or so when I was there before Christmas

I consider the city Beverly Hills, West Hollywood , where Paramount studios , Warner Bros and Universal is? do they still play volleyball on the beach? or only at certain times of the year? question 2.. at this time of year walking around Manhatten Beach what team outfits do you see most people wearing hats , shirts any team out fits? 2. On a previous cruise to Bermuda in 2014 we were diverted to Nassau instead of our Bermuda destination due to a hurricane. It was in August, so not unexpected as that is when hurricane season begins! "Let's Stick Together" is a great Bryan Ferry album, and Chris Spedding plays on it. Very good you took it home. Nice bag the store gave you in West Palm Beach as well! ✌
Wow. Norwegian ! Only the upper crust tour on that line .. Haha 😉We did have a room with a deck, and the weather was perfect ! Next year, it's gonna be St. Thomas, Puerto Rico and some other port. The service on Carnival was 4 to 5 star.. Unreal, and I am a customer service veteran, very nice relaxing journey ! I just played the Brian Ferry LP yesterday.. It really is one of his best solo efforts, for sure ! Hit up Randy's donuts when in LA ( Inglewood store is the original )🍩

I was getting anxious just looking at all of the people on the ship. Good price on "The Family" album. All of the records seemed to be priced fairly. Very cool Sands poster. Nice clean buys out of the $1.00 bin.I haven't seen the Sly Stone EP either. I'm glad you had a great time. It was nice to catch up.

Great video travelog. I've spent a lot of time at Randy's Donuts on Manchester and more time in Hermosa Beach walking The Strand and eating at Martha's. It's my favorite place in Southern California. Rust & Wax looked great, very spacious and lot's of inventory. Nice vinyl haul and a wide variety at that. Looked like a excellent trip. I've been to Nassau once about 20 years ago and I loved it.

@@jtsrecordroom3963 I was born in Van Nuys and moved to Seattle when I was a kid. I still have family down there so I go to LA often. But if I ever moved back it would be in Hermosa Beach. I absolutely love that place. I've played in bands off and on for 40 years but only in Seattle. It's great that you traveled with a group, I always wanted to do that. A life experience that would be priceless!

It’s a nice record store and the owners are nice. Too bad I didn’t know you were going to be in Miami- I would have recommended Technique Records - it would have blown your mind! Wow ! That would have been cool to meet up with you, Ben ! I didn't know anything about Technique Records.. I looked and looked. Often, it takes a local to mention the best. We were really impressed with West Palm.. I left out the footage of your downtown, as this vid was already the longest I had ever done. I always like to support brick & mortars on occasion, as I tend to get good records for low prices, so I don't mind splurging once in awhile. I like that Brightline.. killer transit ! Thanks, Man.. Ben, I was impressed with Miami, and West Palm Beach is a nice, smaller Florida city. 70's Kinks are my favorites, only by a little over the great titles of the 1960s. Hey Mark ! I'll start answering.. Yeah, Manhattan Beach is 30 minutes from downtown LA in good traffic flow.
Did you see the video ? The beach courts are always full.
Sure, all of those towns can be called LA.. Although most name those towns individually.
You'll always see a lot of LA caps in So Cal. ( Dodgers ).
In Miami, we ate inside, mostly.
