@@brendawright5899 Getting on base is so important, it changes the way the pitcher pitches, the way everyone fields, pressure all the way around. It's typically when you can keep base runners on that you can hang crooked numbers on the other team in an inning.
I’m a dodger fan and I will be the first to say that I want absolutely nothing to do with Juan Soto. I don’t care what his numbers are. I have sat back and watch this guy ever since he won the World Series with Washington and if you ask me, he’s put up great numbers, but he is very selfish. He is the epitome of a mercenary and I don’t think he’s a good team player and that’s my opinion, it’s not just talent that wins a team you have to fit into system. You have to have great camaraderie and respect for each other and when one Sotos comments right after the game is over he was basically saying me me me me me was me and I just lost the World Series. I would not be talking about free agency, he is all about himself. I am so glad we got Ohtani and not soto
I couldn't agree more. For what the Dodgers could spend on Soto, they could easily re-sign Teo, Edman, Buehler, and Treinen, and take fliers on guys that the Dodgers are almost always able to resurrect.
I mean like your right but he may be selfish or did you look back at who and why brawls started? He is a great player overall but it is his personality that the problem. But we are looking for a guy that we could get that would help us get back to back rings although are pitching will be the greatest next year and our offense is great. But we have trade away Kiki, T.hernadez and who ever will play in the out field so there is pros and cons overall he will help.
Don’t forget fantastic manager Dave Roberts, he is more than first class. He make the Dodgers one big family, everyone will fight and play for each other
The Dodgers were the better team top to bottom and a better organization. They had best record in baseball and finally used depth to carry them through the season to the end. Not really rocket science. There is nothing the Yankees could have done to win the series. They were outclassed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@ecliqxse9591 Judge could have been Superman. Dodgers were the kryptonite. There is a reason Yankees are winless in series outside of AL Central the last six years or so.
@ Ohtani didn’t do anything either. He had two less hits than Judge. Dodgers aren’t whining about it. They have a complete team with depth. That’s what it takes.
Hilarious how Yankees fans are over analyzing how much they sucked in the WS... They are in denial because they got their a$$$es whipped by the dodgers...
They also lost because their starting pitching was also not as good in games 2 and 3 leading to a 3-0 hole after blowing the first game in the 10th inning. That was half of the games the Yankees lost. Before game 4, the Yankees did not hit that well in the series.
I believe the reason for the Yankees fans analyzing game five is that is their excuse for the loss. And trying to discredit the dodgers win . Basically saying the Yankees would have won if they didn’t make mistakes they did. But what they are not talking about is how bad they were in the first three games. Not on the field but at the plate.
Yankees played in the series as they played all year, walk, wack, forget about defense, run bases like you're always in a home run trot, that won't cut it when you're playing a complete team that hustles. They would have probably lost against any National League team. And they certainly lost to the National League's best team. (I'm not a Dodger fan, but I have to admit, they are one hell of a baseball team.
It looked like Soto didn't have a short haircut. It's baseball and momentum has a lot to do with winning or losing. They had good momentum from the first inning. 5th inning unfortunately was the total opposite. They're a good team or they would have not made it this far.
@richardmoore3749 tbh I don’t even see an issue with the facial hair policy (I’m not a Yankees fan, to clarify. I don’t think it is a helpful one necessarily but that isn’t what they aren’t as good as they used to be). The problem is them resting on their past glories as an excuse to be complacent and to boast in the achievements of those who came before them.
On ANY ground ball right of 2nd base the pitcher needs to get his butt over to 1st base, in case it takes a weird hop on the 1st baseman which is exactly what happened to Rizzo.
To Me, I feel like the Yankee fans Were Alot more Disappointed, They were So hyped up ( 5 To 0 lead) , They really thought they had the Game Wrapped up, Yankees Are going to lose Alot of Fans 😢..
The Dodgers scouting report on the Yankees was: The Yankees are the worst team in terms of baseball fundamentals. Make them play baseball. If you put the ball in play, the Yankees will self inflict harm and implode.
They lost for one reason : horrible defense , the team played like little league second stringers . Boo HOO , no crying in Baseball . Judge is an overpaid punk , choke dog !!
The Yankees lost because they have worse fundamentals than your average Little League travel team. This is what laziness gets you - outclassed and outplayed on every level.
They lost because they simply don't play baseball as well as the Dodgers.
I love Judge too, but he's just not a big game player.

Best record in MLB
Best team in the playoffs
Period.

judge is hitting .205 in over 200 at bats over his post season career. thats just. whoa. complete opposite of clutch.
It can’t be the Kevin Duran Duran Durant of the MLB because Juan Soto already has a World Series championship ring. He’s already a champion.

Well put!
They lost not because of talent , but because they are arrogant and play undisciplined baseball . And Boone does not play situations well .
They lost because Judge dropped the ball.
Ohtani 1 Judge 🍩
When young kids play catch with their dads , what did you hear them say ?? KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BALL !! OVER PAID PUNK , JUDGE , is WORTHLESS !!!
The 70’s called and they want their moustache back!

Rizzo has been toast for two and a half seasons now. I can't believe the Yankees were still trotting him out there.
The Dodgers would have beaten any AL team period. The Yankees' fielding is atrocious.

It was not a good World Series, but it was markedly better than 1976 and 1963.
They lost because Stanton Soto & judge are mostly one trick ponies!
Judge made an error yes but they had 2 other errors not just him that did it
Agree. First base error was the worse.
Fundamentals.
because the top 4 on the NL were better than the whole AL... and the dodger were the best of the NL. Yankees had no chance this season.
Bill Buckner showed up😊
The Dodgers scouting report on the Yankees was: The Yankees are the worst team in terms of baseball fundamentals. Make them play baseball. If you put the ball in play, the Yankees will self inflict harm and implode.
TRUE THAT , they played like little league second stringers !!
Modern athletes act like two year olds, not adults.
Sasaki over Soto. Sasaki is REAL DEAL.
Dodger’s is the better team… they had Freeman… without Freeman , Yankees would’ve been leading the series…
Too proud Cole, too lazy Cole.
Cole should have covered but Rizzo took that same play himself earlier in the game and a hundred different times throughout his time in NY.
Jomboy did a breakdown of it. He doesn’t always go to the bag.
The only reason is because the dodgers were the better team all series long
Soto is a baseball vagabond. I won't be too surprised if he ends up in Kansas City or Houston....
