Hi Kevin Cynthia and Steve , what a great walk through all the trees shuffling the leaves under foot then the avenue of trees it looked really great loved the walk ❤ thanks to you all
Thank you, Fiona 😊. So please, you enjoyed the walk we certainly did. Seeing the signs of spring made you feel that lighter nights are coming and warmer temperatures.
Great theme for a walk, I'd love to do it one day. Long time admirer of Mr Goldsworthy its good to see him creating sculptures local and from local materials. Thanks for the guided walk, Kevin, and thanks to Jean as well.
@@KevinsRambles Ian, leave it to an expert to give you the info. The 14 chalk balls, approximately 2 meters in diameter, were installed in June 2002. Initially, they were thought to endure for just a couple of years but hey! There they still are just so that some rogues could pass them by with a camera to film some video.....who knows for whom!😄 (But I enjoyed it)

Hi Kevin and team, lovely walk. I have never noticed those balls of chalk before. You got some very good shots from different angles, you lost me a couple of times. Have you got any pictures of the Angel Hotel (400 years old) Kevin? What a shame! All the best.
Hi Kevin. Another of your interesting videos. I've never heard of the 'Chalk Stone Trail! What's the history with them? Where did they come from, because they seemed to be fairly identical in size. I could Google it, but I'd rather test your knowledge. You must have had a map showing the locations.

I must admit I had never heard of the walk but knew about the first stone.

They were put in place in 2002 by sculpture Andy Goldsworthy.
He carved them 13 in total and 2m in diameter.
Interesting Video Kevin, shame about the rubbish. It would be nice if they were opened up so they are visible all year
Thank you, John 😊.
Yes, the rubbish was terrible.
I agree with you about them being opened up to make them more visible
