Also, Joseph not knowing about Steroline and their relationship is impossible because he appeared in Season 7 of Tvd where he asked Stefan if he loves Caroline and also called him her boyfriend when he talked to her on the phone.
Candice's preferences over Caroline's relationships are her own, we're talking about Joseph here. Their relationship may not have been the healthiest but you can't deny the attraction and chemistry they had.

I think people loved Karoline more because Klaus and Caroline were equals. Even tho Klaus was physically stronger, both their characters as a whole were equally strong whereas Camille was protected from the truths for a long time and then later as a vampire she still had a hard time adapting. She needed Klaus' help and Klaus needed hers. Caroline's character being more bold made people want them together. Caroline was always meant to be a vampire
That 's right , 95 % of viewers wanted them to be together , only Julie Plec didn 't want it because they overshadowed the Case, well, but the fact that they never put an official couple bypasses Delena three times in popularity according to polls , although Delena 's story was developed and mused for 8 seasons , unconditionally at the moment , the best couple in the entire Vampire Diary universe are Klaus and Caroline, and in my opinion they should have left the friendship between Kami and Klaus, as well as between Stefan and Klaus, but they ruined it

Totally agree. Klaroline fans can’t handle this knowledge of course, much more than they can handle the knowledge of the fact that klamille was going to be canon (so to speak) if fans had not essentially bullied Leah (Cami’s actress) off the show. This is why Cami died, and why the actress left; threatened klaroline stans were harassing her and ruining the experience. 🤦♀️
I think he loved them both. The difference is Cami loved him back. Caroline grew to love him but not in the way he wanted. He wanted Caroline to see him how he’d never been seen before. Cami actually saw the good in him and loved him despite his flaws.

I always shipped klaroline before i watched originals. Even after i watched originals. The fact i never couldn't forget how cami loved him with all his shortcoming.which Caroline never did. I think he loved both deeply, but it was a different type of love. I think he had more sexual attraction, and excitement with care, where with Camille, it was more passionate. I'd ship either or tho if you ask me. Caroline should've ended up with klaus due to her character development. She because a boss after she turned, but she had humanity of a human. Which would've made her perfect for em. Cami was a weakling and a human and even more weak as a vamp due to her irrational decisions. But once again, I'd be happy with either couple!

and in the Legacies episode where Lizzie wished Hope was never born, Klaus and Caroline were literally married. He chose her over Camille. He also did it the day he kissed her goodbye. I know it’s Caroline. She challenged him more. Cami was more mature and probably older “ in human years” than Klaus. He’s stuck as a teenager so Care was a crush that he never had, a highschool gf he never had while Cami was settle down material from the beginning.
