Yes sir. Keeps em sticky. No slick residue and doesn’t dry em out like brake cleaner. I’ve tried acetone and some stuff from reaction time and this seems the best and cheapest. When the road snd weather are right I can make some hits off the tire without prepping it with some heat.
@@Dorkyand40 that's what I was wondering everybody does all the pre prep and the bagging .. there's no point if you dry it out with what you clean it with!! that's why I asked thank you very much.....
Very useful info ! I have been working on my own prep that’s doing very good for a couple of guys i race with. I have given some to to try out . Now getting the tires ready for the guys has been all types of methods they all do different things and 1 of the guys uses the same cleaner you do . And it works very well . !! I ran a pb the other night on my prep . 2.5 and 59 ! With a bandit with the Ford pinto body . I sometimes wish I had the capability to record all the things we do but . I’m lazy lol 😂 or just forget to record I definitely need a GoPro or something lol .
Thanks man. Use your phone snd a mount off Amazon. We use those a lot. It’s part of the fun. Just keep it away from the finish line but it’s perfect for your launch.
Stickyickypreps website. Tires usually start to break down around the edges and then split and crack. As you get faster you will actually start to blow tires before they are worn enough to replace.
i always kind of hit the side of them about a cm or 2 down but with these reactions im not sure..they have a lot of plastic inside them and nothing coming up from the bead that would create a wrinkle. its all basically the same thickness and integrity.
Awesome video thanks for showing all the go fast secrets lol also try out get stuck next year its made by jeff zuccarell and is very affordable like 12$ a bottle or something
@@Dorkyand40 yup i also heard people running just straight pj1 trackbite and a few people say its better then any prep out there so i might try that out this year
Great video dorky ..I only clean off the dirt and rocks.. never clean of all the prep .... prep loves prep
You got that right! seems to work like that after we get some hits on the road. other wise it can be sugar cookie really fast :)
@@Dorkyand40 right dirt and rocks, we found if we clean "blow" the shutdown as much as the track it fixes that....
@@Dorkyand40 do you have good luck cleaning the tires between rounds with the NAFTA

I use simple green after raceday wash em about 7 times they get clean and sticky. Then I get em covered in sticky kicks and slap em in a bag
i sued simple green for a long time as well. seems like the wintergreen stuff does a better job if you ever want to try something else out
💪🏾💯🔥
Great tips- thank you!

Quick question? Would applying the conditioner to the sidewalls help the wrinkling effect? Or add any benefits?
