This is my first time watching this channel and I will say that this is a very good show. Will continue to do so. Thumbs up !!
It's good to see how forensic science started
I really like historical crimes from uk, thanx a lot for this one.
"stern" ... "a bit plump"... Listen to that dazzling beauty describing these victims. Where do they get off, exactly?
You have to remember that a WRITER writes the script and then hands it off to the PRESENTER.

Only 22 minutes, the jury was not playing that day!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂exactly

He did it 😮😊
Definitely
Imagine looking back, people use to lose their lives for 500 pounds, 700 pounds searching for love🤦🏾♀️ that man 🤯sad existence. Glad those ladies got justice
In 2022, people are killed for their shoes, or a few hundred dollars in a cash box. Also, back then, the money he got was worth much more today. My math is bad, but 500 pounds might be 5000 today. It adds up, and you don't have to actually work for it. As long as you don't mind killing people.
@Beaudile Wow! My math was REALLY bad! Thanks for correcting me!
People lose their lives for nothing too.
I wonder what the one wife he never conned thought of all this 🤔
How did I not hear of this monster until now?!!!😲 Poor Bessie. Alice WAS A LITTLE BIT PLUMP, BUT STILL PRETTY!? Was this also a quote from 1900?🤦🏻♀️
Rip all of these victims. 🙏🕊
They literally referred to a wife before that as "sturdy"... If I'm ever murdered, I hope this channel does not get ahold of my story.
You think he's a monster, now think about 85 percent of all spousal killings are done by the wife.
@user-io6pj8bz8h Lol, no they aren't. Women are over 5 times more likely to be murdered by their domestic partner. You just make things up and hope no one will check?
@@ZoeAlleynedrag that out your arse too?
I always wondered how the narrator of 'World's most evil killers' looks like.

Guilty as charged..
Bit of a giveaway you'd think? Strange.
You have earned the bage of the Judge of Judges
Years ago I saw this exact type of experiment done on the TV show Quincy, he did it on his wife, it must have been the first year because he was single the next season.
I loved Quincy MD!
Did they ever say what happened to the wife? I can't remember. Always watched it. Great show!
@@vickicali they never mentioned her again, he just became single, she was only in the first season. I guess they wanted him to have love interests , because he sort of became a playboy, in the middle aged sense
@@helensieben3182 That sounds like TV shows back then. Characters would disappear with no explanation. I always think about how the oldest son on Happy Days disappeared without a comment. 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 That warranted it ...what a pig head?
Alice was really pretty
Agree
A very interesting story.. The Pathologist really fascinated me..
All my life I was told that drowning was the most peaceful way to die.....gosh.
No, it's the worst. Having water in your lungs is painful, and takes a while to kill you. So all these people who drown unwanted pets: they are monsters!
Seven years in prison for bigamy? What is that some kind of sarcastic joke about the "seven year itch"?!
🧐🤔😵💫
😁
Apparently, today it's the 2 year itch.
@@karanfield4229 Hahahahahahahahaaaa! My how times are a changin'! 😈🔮🕯🌟🎃🥀🤣😂
The background ‘music’ is just so inappropriate.
From now on, we should practice holding our breath, underwater.... Just in case, this happens to us. At least we'd survive, and just take a nap underwater, and pretend he/she murdered us.
This riveting show got me thinking, and at first I thought that the only way he could have gotten away with his numerous simultaneous marriages was the times in which it happened. But then, I thought further, and began to think even in 2022, how many women would look up if her fiance was already married? When you go to get a marriage license, do they do a search to make sure you're not already married, if you present valid paperwork (photo ID, birth certificate, etc)? I guess it would depend on how much you wanted to get married. Many people these days DO do extensive on-line research, but certainly not everyone. Interesting.
A bigamist named (George) Joseph Smith? That's quite a coincidence!
🤣🤣🤣"Dying in a bath is a wery unplesent way to die" ....how did he manage to do that and still he´s around? (right in the beginning of the video)
Captain Obvious made an appearance. 🤣
I like this Narrator
thanks,,,now i know what to doo,,these shows are great
Wouldn’t that leave bruises around the ankles?
@Real Aiglon Good explanation.
Twisted evil..May the victims rest peacefully..
Why does the woman talking speak so ill of the woman the year was 1912 hell she is no damn beauty queen 👑 herself may all the woman RIP 🌸🌸🌸
I'm pretty sure if some one lifted my legs up in a bath I'd be using both my arms with every ounce of my strength. And I be kicking like a mule. I'd be bucking at my midriff and gulping air. It would be messy and noisy. He must have drugged them first.
Unless you are unvonscious
Has anyone made serials about Spilsbury?
If I were an Edwardian spinster in her 30s and a man dealing in antiques took a liking to me, I'd be offended instead of flattered. 😅
The first and most important rule my father taught me, related to men, was to never, ever give a cent to men. He insisted so much on this, and i will forever be grateful that i was so lucky to have him as my father. While the fathers of my girlfrieds were frecking out that they might have sx or get pregnant, my father taught me the real deal
That's bigamy. Yes, and it's big of me, too. It's big of all of us. I'm sick of these conventional marriages.
That's really big of you to say 🤷
@@pinrod1 😆
What would be bigamous about Smith? After all, it's still "till death do us part," Isn't it? 💀
You will give an account of your life to Your Creator God. Turn to Jesus while there is still time. This is not a joke.
@@gingerstoudt6978 You talking about Jesus the guy that mows my yard? Or Jesus The Lamb of God, Our Redeemer, The way, and the truth, and the life, Jesus? I know both of them already, but thanks for caring. 🤔🤨😁
People like in that mind frame I think they must think that it’d be worth it for any amount that increases the current financial balance I guess.
First time on this channel and I'm already thinking the picture in the narrator's background is NIKOLA TESLA...but lo and behold!
Charlie Chaplin made a movie on this man, MONSIEUR VERDOUX, a beautiful movie, highly recommended!
I think I'd be getting a new bathtub, after my first wife died, think that old tub had a vendetta against these women
Am i missing something?? He killed that 2nd lady for $500 insurance policy?? What a piece of junk 😡😡 thoughts n prayers with her family
@Lux Aeterna Imagine all the thoughts and prayers in the century gone by so, better late than never.
@Lux Aeterna i cant wish someone family well?? Wow! What is the world coming to😢
It is much more in today's money
It makes me sad that only prospect for marriage in 30s, is to a serial killer
Was he Mormon? Or was the name Joseph Smith just a coincidence
Interesting!!
His religion was Con Man. Marriage was his ruse.
It's disrespectful to kill all of your wives the exact same way! (sorry :).
Now you know what goes into those doner kebabs.
Was this guy George Wickham's descendant or maybe an apprentice?
Very good and interesting but the blurred acting out of the trial scenes have the actors all wrongly and under-dressed for an Old Bailey trial.. The judge has an undergrad gown thrown over a white shirt etc.
Omg he is so clever....Actress. Sridevi. Frm India also died frm drowning ...i wonder if if if ...... may be🤔
If you're talking today then Spilsbury would have had access to today's scientific processes and methods.
You can't compare
Andrew Tate of those times
Happily watching knowing I won't kill my partners cause what's the point? Polyamory for the win 👐❤️❤️❤️
Heehee
34:42 Ok... I don't understand why the girl in the tub does not reach up to the sides of the tub and pulls herself up. If we are not too fat, we can actually bend into a V shape to raise head above water! That's the trouble with victims in that they do not use instincts to fight for their lives - plastic bag over head just needs fingers to tear a mouth hole for breathing or suck in some of the bag and bite-tear off some plastic to make a hole, strangling from the front can be countered by not grabbing at the fingers or arms of the killer, but gouge at his eyes or grab the pickle and grapes and squeeze. Unfortunately there are too many people who just accept their fate and can't think while in a panic.
@Real Aiglon Thanks for the slap. Of course people are unprepared to defend themselves and in a panic, but it was difficult to watch her just laying there in the tub with her arms to the side. A little effort might have made me keep my thoughts to myself.
@@islandgal500 To show the viewers the theory (without the risks involved with the original test), the actress was simply asked to cooperate with the prior pathologists theory--a theory that, at the time of testing, knocked an experienced swimmer unconscious almost immediately upon pulling her legs into the air. You aren't going to be fighting anyone if you are unconscious.
@@crystalnadeau254 Makes sense if she was unconscious. I likely did not hear that part properly and just wondered why someone in a tub would not grab at the sides. I get it now, thanks.
I'm confus3d seeing reenactment, her arms stiff as board. I would think I'd be using elbows tc. To get out. 🤔.
