special forces not being able to conquer territory is a buff and not a nerf because you would want to use the stealth function to pick off high value units such as artillery sams or grounded aircraft. If they could conquer territory the enemy would know their position which ultimately negates the more valuable stealth effect. Also the range on the motorized inf at max level is nice and all but if you want to attack without taking damage yourself you shouldnt depend on infantry with 20 range for that and instead get mrls with 100 range.
I can agree on this list. Just switched marines with mechanized since most of the land combat occours in cities and marines are far superior in cities than mechanized infantry
I need helpppp! I’m Australia and I have attack helicopters and airborne troops. How do I get the troops onto the helicopter because every time I select both the helicopter flies away alone.
Based on my gameplays with all infantries I still think that modern infantry is best because it’s the only infantry in the game that can attack at range and followed by special forces because they have A TON of special abilities (NBC prot, No radar signature etc.) so I mainly use special forces and infantry :)
I always go motorised Infantry up to the level that gives 1.5 top speed, and recon vehicle to 1.5 speed level. I avoid attacking enemy units with infantry, I use strikers to do this and move my infantry to follow up and capture cities and provinces. I play to win by losing as few units as possible, cheaper to repair them in hospitals/cities/at sea than make new ones. My current K/D ratio against human players is 3.65 to 1.

I really love Airborne Infantry, ever since one powerful player gave me some advice and told me to use them. I'll have my Motorized Infantry (with mortars) on the front lines, and they'll probably move their troops to the front, then I'll use Airborne Infantry to fly over their heads and capture the city, then hop from city to city to take out their production centers. Though, most of my games people haven't used Anti-Air Vehicles so that would probably counter it. Air Superiority Fighters countered it one time. I also usually don't bother maxing them out I just use level 1-3 and put them in stacks of at minimum 2. Also, though I usually don't use Naval Infantry, if I'm playing an island nation like United Kingdom I think they're a must-have because otherwise you'll be restricted in your conquer path. My favorite infantry is the Motorized Infantry though, since they have Mortars.
I like to use mechanised infantry a lot. They have good hp, good attack and def against tanks and infantry, and also decent defense against air. A stack of 10 has 30+ defense against air, which is a nuance for every plane, through 1-2 SAMs in there and ouch.
Personally I am running a game playing as Australia and I use Marines combined with amphibious assault vehicles. If you are an oceanic country use marines combined with basic infantry it is very rewarding. If you're a normal land based country just use basic infantry it's a waste of resources.
Indeed the Motorized Infantries are the big boys here and it's also really unfortunate that you cannot conquer lands with the Special Forces. If Special Forces could conquer lands a lot more players would be using them more regularly. Nice video.
I once used special forces 10max level I went in the mayanmar undetected Took out the Anti missle batteries In the jungles The enemy was online but was not able to do anything They are invisible then I nucked his Cities with my missles...Dude never imagined that someone would just come take out the air defences and nuke him😎
My ground army usually consists primarily of National Guardsmen. They have great defensive capabilities, are extremely cheap to train, build fast af (around 6 hours with a lvl 4 recruiting office), and do decent attack damage. I definitely wouldn't advocate for not leveling them up though. Get them to at least advanced NG, put 6 in a stack with 1 recon vehicle and 1 anti-tank vehicle, and you're good. Have 6-8 of those and a powerful air force and you're golden. Doubly so if you're a landlocked nation like Kenya or Iraq.
I would agree with your list, although I would change Marines with National guards. Marines are super useful for taking cities with there city buff. They also work a lot better with tank destroyers which in my opinion are one of the best tank units. National guards I have found very good for taking land quickly. But I have never seen them actually win fights even in the beginning of games. Mechanized infantry are good, but I would keep them in position 5 with national guard in 4 and marines in 3

Mechanized are the best. Win rate 100% with mechanized being my only infantry. They bully any other infantry with shear hp, and fxck up any armor units with the insane armor defense. It can easily out maneuver tanks if you don't want to take any loss, and if paired up with TD, it's unbeatable on land. National guards need additional days for it to gain health. 2 national guards can't beat 1 mechanized. Motorized infantry take up too much Rare material and when it finally surpass Mechanized, the game is already over.

One guy was using the same max level infantry technique of hit and run Though I was using a combination of mech infantry and special forces I allowed him to hit me and then used special forces to go behind the lines and moved my mech infantry ahead. Lol I killed his units
So here is my rankings.. Doctrines come into play based on my experience.. Im not including special forces because they cant be the core of an army and cant capture territory.. They are specialists ... But eastern has the best rules for them... 1. Mech Infantry - if your European Doctrine (which I play alot) this should be your backbone infantry because of the buffs.. They are great it defending cities, quicker then other infantry, and fare well against armor esp on defense. Also the reason I place them ahead of Motor Infantry is because your not gonna start the game with level 6 or 7 infantry .. Your most exposed in the early and mid points of the game and that's where you need infantry the most... But the end of the game its usually not the infantry the wins or loses you the final war... It usually comes down to other factors... And low and mid tier Mech Infantry will wipe out low to mid tier motorized. Also because mech infantry are so good at defending cities and so quick in movement they achieve 3 key principles of the game... Protect your cities... Capture provinces quickly.. And defend well when your not on the game to micromanage them. 2. Motorized Infantry If your eastern doctrine this is a good backbone unit... They have good mid game and oblivious amazing late game performance but do suck in the early game. They don't drain resources much which is nice and you can pump out alot of them. 3. National Guard They are a good backbone choice for landlocked Western Doctrine nations or a supplement to Marines in coastal western nations .... They can be a backbone eastern force as well... Very cheap and quick to make.. Individually they suck but strength in volume ... And they excel in early game when you want to land grab and resources are low.. 4. Marines/ Naval Infantry If your western doctrine and coastal these should be your backbone troops...no other doctrine should use these troops at all.. Because the western buffs are great but otherwise they are not worth the resources and buildings to make.. They are not good with players not logged on much or defensive players.. Very good for micromanaging offensive players that are no lives on the game (looking at myself ) 5. Airmobile/ Air Assault Never make these units no matter what doctrine.. Total waste of research and resources... Worst part is they need to be micromanaged at all times.. In summary the to 4 classes could all be good backbones depending on doctrine and play style although Mech is the most forgiving ...

I like the (western doctrine) level 1-3 airborne infantry (heuy helicopter) paired with the level one naval air superiority fighter (F4 Phantom) so I can declare on Vietnam and recreate the Vietnam war. *Fortunate Son intensifies* "Goooood morning Vietnam!"
here is a simple tactic i use with spec force and the helicopter soldiers (forgot the name) step 1: you go into war with a country step 2: every city is gonna be destroyed by a special force (some of them maby need more) and they hold it Step 3: the helicopter soldiers capture the city and secure it now the enemy cant mobilse any soldiers Step 4:destroy all the city so the city cant mobilse them anymore Step 5: destroy with the rest of your army the enemy other army Step 6:win
I've got a k/d ratio of 8.2, i win 50% of games and i use special ops for main army, which is usually a 4 tanks, 1 tank commander, 4 special ops and infantry commander. Special ops are way better at attacking while normal infantry is defense oriented. I rarely upgrade infantry over rank 3, i just have my main army clean up every city and got standard infantry lagging behind split into 1 unit conquering all territory and arriving into cities main army conquered, so infantry unit then just holds it. I do drag a little behind or in front of main army a support army of radar, 4-5 rocket arties and 4 sams so they cover main army and i make sure every game i got complete air superiority. So for me special ops are the most valuable and regular infantry just does undemanding tasks. Keeping them at low level also helps me with low upkeep so i can make a stupid anount of them and the more game progresses, the faster i can take over countries. If i really need to defend i will push their upgarde lvl up, but i just don't find it worthwhile to upgrade to the point of long range attack because i clean up cities with planes and helicopters anway
I love the national guards cause i do not use infantry to fight. I love to invest resources in other units like mrs, air superiority, elite attack aircraft, mobile air defence, radar, air defence, ships. Only unit i sometimes play is is special forces.

Actually airborne infantry is far more useful than you think , it helps to take over land that is tough terrain such as mountain that cut off the retreat route of the armor class and let your other unit to chase and kill them and take undefended cities and islands
airmobile are decent for nobility in jungles such as vietnam thailand etc and that’s who they are their for. if your playing as france no need for them.
Just started the game today. Is it me or does it seems a bit P2W? You can buy resources with real money and speed everything up with real money. So Someone with lots of cash to spend could just steamroll everyone?

To be honest I think that Marines are the best because of their tactical advantage, higher damage, and cost. Mp is no problem and neither comps if you invest in arms industries. A max lvl 3 stack of marines wipe out any infantry easily (minus sas)
In east doctrine, Mechanized infantry is using vehicle like BTR. But does the btr of mechanized infantry have the same function as the one in "research"

I just recently mobilized Airmobile infantry for the first time, my expectations is that I could use the "Air assault" as an advantage for me to get onto an enemy's capital in a matter of minutes while my Motorized infantries focuses on the borders, but I realized that I cant use Air assault on an enemy territory. Am I using it wrong? If not, then what is the purpose of Airmobile infantry if transportation to enemy territory is limited? I thought I could use it for a rapid intervention on enemy territories (like paratroopers/airborne forces).
Melliodas what about the airborne infantry and the combat recons(they both air assault)- can they not do special missions?? Please test this strategy and see if it is not very effective on the battlefield

i use ntl guard over the other ones because they are cheap efficient and low production time etc, i dont pick motorized cuz i usually research artillery early on witha bigger range (towed then rocket later) and the motorized infantry has no advantage ss i dont use tanks ever only the ones u get on the start. my friend is the opposite but he is less skilled he uses mbt and motor because «u have to pick by how much damage too» which do u think is the right
2 mech battalions with your mlrs and Sam stacks will keep them safe from armour while you sleep that's why they are no1 for me , don't need range for infantry as you shouldn't use them to attack , special forces are a total waste , L1 UAVs are cheap af and will expose the expensive special forces easily

Personally I combine Special forces and Naval Infantry sometimes I stack them with atleast 2 Amphibious Combat vehicles

Actually airborne infantry is far more useful than you think , it helps to take over land that is tough terrain such as mountain that cut off the retreat route of the armor class and let your other unit to chase and kill them and take undefended cities and islands

isnt it impossible to make a unit stack with units that arent airborne infantry itself? like i dont think you can combine airmobiles with tanks
airmobile are decent for nobility in jungles such as vietnam thailand etc and that’s who they are their for. if your playing as france no need for them.

Just started the game today. Is it me or does it seems a bit P2W? You can buy resources with real money and speed everything up with real money. So Someone with lots of cash to spend could just steamroll everyone?
It happens much more rarely then you think.. Ive played about 20 games and won all but 3... And i have only suspected someone of using money 3 or 4 times ever

To be honest I think that Marines are the best because of their tactical advantage, higher damage, and cost. Mp is no problem and neither comps if you invest in arms industries. A max lvl 3 stack of marines wipe out any infantry easily (minus sas)

I really like mechanized infantry i think its pretty useful if i have some infantry stack, most of the time i use national guard with tanks though

I just recently mobilized Airmobile infantry for the first time, my expectations is that I could use the "Air assault" as an advantage for me to get onto an enemy's capital in a matter of minutes while my Motorized infantries focuses on the borders, but I realized that I cant use Air assault on an enemy territory. Am I using it wrong? If not, then what is the purpose of Airmobile infantry if transportation to enemy territory is limited? I thought I could use it for a rapid intervention on enemy territories (like paratroopers/airborne forces).

You have an accent, do you know who the USMC is? Being able to attack anywhere is worth the money if you are attacking I’ve always placed when I use marines

my guy got some guts saying that
i use ntl guard over the other ones because they are cheap efficient and low production time etc, i dont pick motorized cuz i usually research artillery early on witha bigger range (towed then rocket later) and the motorized infantry has no advantage ss i dont use tanks ever only the ones u get on the start. my friend is the opposite but he is less skilled he uses mbt and motor because «u have to pick by how much damage too» which do u think is the right

Just so you know, the plural for infantry is infantry.
When you start lest play
2 mech battalions with your mlrs and Sam stacks will keep them safe from armour while you sleep that's why they are no1 for me , don't need range for infantry as you shouldn't use them to attack , special forces are a total waste , L1 UAVs are cheap af and will expose the expensive special forces easily
