I am going to try that knot. I only know one good knot and the rest I cannot seem to grasp to my shame, I can’t seem to get even a slip knot. Seeing you do this eternity knot, makes visually appealing. Thanks very much.
Good luck!
The campsite is beautiful, love hearing the birds. Cool knot! (I'm bookmarking your knot videos.) Safe travels! (You are probably already at your destination in Canada, lol.)
Awesome! Thank you! I am still travelling
Beautiful scenery , very peaceful , thanks for sharing , God bless !
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice area we camp down there alot. More so at indian and celina lake.
The sounds of the birds are so soothing along with the sight of so many tall trees. I have to hand it to you - the car tent is super cool, and long car rides are exhausting, so the fact you take the time and patience iequired to set up your tent deserves kudos. Last, I imagine you've made it home by now, as last Saturday you were in the Ozarks? Thanks for sharing your road trip with us. Safe travels.
P.S. The eternity knot is pretty ! I imagine a lot of. your followers appreciated you going "old school" - back to where you started on RUclips... I will be in SMA from July 2 to July 12 (flying in/out of QRO). If you're back by then, would love to connect with you - to learn more about living in Mexico. I'm planning to relocate, and want to gather info from folks with boots on the ground.....have watched hundreds of RUclips videos, and still unclear about what it's "really like." Thanks!
Thanks, would love to but I won't be back by then. Enjoy your visit.
@@TrailguidePictures Thanks so much for your reply!!
Nice big campsite. That tent is beautiful, but how does the top out like that do on a windy day?🤔
Thanks. So fat it has handled all the conditions I've been in. It is a good build
Jason, I really like your Subaru Crosstrek & roof top tent. With tent being so high up and the rain flap extending pretty far out, does the wind bother it. I would like to hear your opinion on the Crosstrek & tent if you can...thanks again for your great video content. Stay safe!
I haven’t had any problems with wind or rain yet, but have always found myself out in the backcountry sleeping in my hammock during the real bad weather 😒 I’m doing a video on what I think of the rooftop tent soon.
Very beautiful and serene camp site. Many Thanks for another great video. You are awesome Jason....!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
not ralated to this video but I saw your other video or you moving out of Canada, maybe visit NICARAGUA many of canadiens are moving to Nicaragua.
Interesting, I’m curious about other central and South American countries but spending my time in Mexico at the moment
What a beautiful spot, the mature trees are so big staying there a few days to relax would be lovely. I made the trip from Manitoba to Nova Scotia by car several times. There were places I wished I’d stayed even two days the peaceful surroundings and birds soothed my frantic pace. But as usual had to get moving so to find housing in Nova Scotia.
Sounds like you had some noisy folks nearby. I will NEVER understand being out in nature and wanting to blare loud music.
I was hoping you'd take a stroll into that forest... just beautiful. I loved the lane you drove down too. So envious right now. We do, however, have lots of bird song in our scrub :)
Glad you enjoyed it
