Nice review. Too bad Siri is so terrible. Especially knowing she was the first useable “voice assistant”, existing before both Alexa and Google. Everything is a trade off though. Google and Amazon ruthlessly mined data and invaded our privacy in ways that get more outrageous at each revelation. But it made their voice assistant better.
I couldn’t care less about the temp and humidity sensor, the intercom or Siri. I care ONLY about sound quality. Does this speaker sound better or worse than other speakers in the same price range?
It's a great sounding speaker no doubt, but if you aren't in the apple ecosystem already....you are probably better off elsewhere. If you are in the apple ecosystem and don't mind the price range (and don't care about the things you wrote above) you should be happy with it. Worse case, you return it!
hahah....yeh, mine just gives me a range when I ask....but to be honest....I don't ask Siri to do a whole lot other than just play music because I feel like it's 50/50 whether you will get something useful back.
