The band's early live performances are fun to watch just to see the constant attention needed to keep Pau's cymbals tightened or her drum stands in place.
I saw somewhere that she hits so hard that she can break up to 10 drumsticks per show. There is a TedX of them where she breaks a stick at age 13 or 14 and doesn't miss abeat while getting a replacement stick. She is just a beast behind the kit.
There are a lot of moments in their live videos that you catch her reaching for a new stick. The most famous is probably at the begining of Survive at the 2017 tedX talk, but also the end of Copper Bullets a big chunk can be seen whipping past Dany's head at the Dakota Bar. Pau then apologizes if she hit anyone 😅
She's not joking when she says she hits hard. She punched a hole on her kickdrum head with the beater once, mid show, and she had to finish the set playing with her left foot.😁😁
"I'm a hard hitter" 😅 Yes she did blow a hole through her kick drum last summer (maybe it was 2 years now,) towards the end of a show. 💪 as for talking,I don't care, I've watched the original a dozen times, but they can talk so fast we don't want YOU to miss something cool or funny. That's all. Thanks, lots of us love these type of videos
These vids are great. I'd like to be a gear nerd on something OTHER than electronics, and this gives me a way to approach that goal. Of course, having Pau to foil-with is a great thing... So much energy. Does the drummer from Epica have a similar rundown? (I'd love to hear Scot from UTA give verbal rundowns on all the borrowed rigs he had to use, bitd) Lesson learned : makeup pads...
The behind the scenes, and the after movies, are great too. Yes please check out some of those. The after movie form the mtv video music awards would be great to watch after Ale's gear rundown. (Fuimos a la Red Carpet de los VMA's - The Warning (New Jersey, USA) Aftermovie)
Yes! Check out more behind the scenes ones. They just released one of DPA playing "Truth or Drink". At one point, Dany is laughing so hard she says "I[m gonna pee my pants!" They have to answer questions like "How have your parents f**ked you up?" and "Have you ever hooked up with a fan?" It is hilarious and really shows them at their best (funniest).
Yea, family dynamics are pretty universal it seems. I’m 3of3 & the same dynamics hold. Oldest is boss/manager/caretaker, middle has the big chip on the shoulder/boisterous/opinionated, youngest quiet/brilliant (if I do say so😂)/& yes, spoiled😊.
Can't speak for the rest of your audience demographic, but don't underestimate _TWA's_ appetite. We've watched Pau bake a cake. We'll show for *any* _The Warning_ content.
Vlogs are good to watch . . . QOTMS vlogs 23 . 25 . 26 or the Argentina Tour vlogs . . Awesome . . They are about 30mins each but well worth it and we will watch . . . 👋🇳🇿🍻👍
A couple years ago back Fil from Wings of Pegasus interviewed them and Pau talked about the year she spent learning Ableton if you’re interested. 🔥🤘#NumberlyGarfs
It's too long to review, but for your own personal enjoyment here is Pau's Masterclass (with English subs) that covers a wide variety of kit topics - ruclips.net/video/GMBy4yS86OY/видео.html
Well worth watching. Especially when she let us actually hear what she has in her in-earz. I would get lost really fast if I was trying to play something but had all of that going on. For the stems and such that she is launching she used to set all of those up herself. I don't know if she still does but in the "old days" she was also controlling the graphics they had behind her like at Lunario. Also, the Kemper pedal board that Dany has reduced the amount of control that Pau used to have to do through the laptop for the guitar sound.
@@lonelywind3511 They don't get enough credit for being top-tier gear nerds. After they learned how to write & arrange then they wanted to learn how to record & produce. How many teenagers have legit technical credits on a full album, like they do for QotMS.
Yeah, there’s a video of her during a New Hampshire show where she actually punches a hole through her bass drum and she’s broken many symbols and knocked her snare off its stand
Definitely, Pau, is a very hard hitter, when i see them live in VFG arena, opening for Muse, the first hits of "Z" their first song in that show, sounded like shotguns.
There are two types of reactors - those looking for clicks pretending to like what they are hearing and those that know what they are talking about from their own musical experience; I prefer the later. Dude, you are genuine and talented enough to clearly express your expertise combined with emotion. Keep doing what you are doing. Screw the trolls that just want a vacant cheerleader. if you want inspiration from another reactor that views this band like you do, check out "Phil Zero" - he's a master at breaking down The Warning songs. Bring on the Ale gear reaction!
I saw a piece where they're all talking about a show or writing or something. As the 3 of them are figuring who's who, Dany the rock star, Alé the quiet on and Pau, as Alé says "like that Muppet" and Dany chimed in, oh you mean Animal?
"She has the 'Hey, I actually made it in music' version."🤣 That's hilarious, but hey, you work with what you can afford, and if your music does good, you upgrade accordingly!😉
I don't think you ever were taught that as children you have certain characteristics based on when you were born... Basically, first born is more direct, to the point, follows the rules, gets the best grades, because parents are directly there with them & new to everything... Second born is, usually wheels off, because they watched #1 go through everything first, learned where to ask permission and where they could ignore it... Learned when to cry, when to behave, when to act good, and when they act badly... Basically mom & dad have relaxed in parenting style... And third child is typicaly shyer... Because #2 is wheels off and got more in trouble than #1... but third child learned where #2 & #1 got into it with parents, so they can dodge that part completely... Parents have kind of givien up... The third child will appear spoiled but that is a parents issue...
I saw a clip where she broke a stick and immediately shifted it to her other hand to play cymbals while continuing to drum with he bare hand on the other side. I expect that she has broken a few sticks.
Dude, she has always been a HEAVY hitter. She never had a child’s kit, so she really had to wail on her drums to get any sound out of it. I will share a video (you don’t need to react to it) of Pau playing an adult kit at age 7. She is not only singing the song she is playing, but pay attention to how she gets her entire body into her kick…..and the Hello Kitty bag hanging from the music stand is just too much. If I ever have a rough day, this video just makes all the nastiness evaporate. I know you will enjoy it. ruclips.net/video/s589vw3Ht1E/видео.htmlsi=QuK3-dc1KuEyFMJE
There are videos of each of them attempting to teach the other how to play their other’s instrument. They did them back during the Pandemic when they had oodles of time and weren’t touring. So, I guess someone thought it would a fun exercise. They’re pretty funny to watch. Pau was teaching Danny the drums, Ale was teaching Dany the bass. Dany tried teaching Pau the guitar. Let’s just say it didn’t go all that well
Talk as much as you like. You do it right. If you want to see Pau getting off, watch the TedxTalk from 2016. She destroyed a stick and realy looked like the drummer of the mupped show. 🤟🤟🤟🤟 now she is "older" and more relaxed. 😂😂
Pau is very muscular for her size. I did a meet & greet and I don’t think there is an ounce of extra fat on her except where women should have some. Not only is she muscular in a good way she definitely has amazing cardio. What she lacks in physical size she makes up for in personality and drive.
The band's early live performances are fun to watch just to see the constant attention needed to keep Pau's cymbals tightened or her drum stands in place.
Yes, Pau is a firecracker and when she takes the floor as frontwoman it goes TNT.
I saw somewhere that she hits so hard that she can break up to 10 drumsticks per show. There is a TedX of them where she breaks a stick at age 13 or 14 and doesn't miss abeat while getting a replacement stick. She is just a beast behind the kit.
She was 14
And that's the TEDx presentation that blew my brain straight off my heat. Fan for life for sure.
She refers to the TedX show as "the one where I only broke one stick"... 😄
@@jasonremy1627 So? I'm only repeating what she said...
Ask Kathy how hard she hits?
She hits the drums like they said something mean about her sisters 😊
Yes love the behind the scenes stuff. These gear master programs are great. Well done
Will gladly watch anything with The Warning in it🤘
There are a lot of moments in their live videos that you catch her reaching for a new stick. The most famous is probably at the begining of Survive at the 2017 tedX talk, but also the end of Copper Bullets a big chunk can be seen whipping past Dany's head at the Dakota Bar. Paulina, a 5 foot stick of dynamite that is always lit !!!!
She is pure TNT 💥
She's not joking when she says she hits hard. She punched a hole on her kickdrum head with the beater once, mid show, and she had to finish the set playing with her left foot.😁😁

If you watch any interview she is in she definitely does talk with her hands alot.
That is why, in the Truth or Drink video, Ale grabs her hands to quiet her down so Ale can speak :)
It used to be "boom goes the dynamite" but now it's "Pau goes the dynamite".
I enjoy everything The Warning: gear, Aftermovies, etc…!!!
These vids are great.
I'd like to be a gear nerd on something OTHER than electronics, and this gives me a way to approach that goal.

I’m a sucker for gear and behind the scenes content.
These are great thanks for checking them out look forward to Ale's. The BTS and interviews are a blast with DPA always fun. 🔥⚡
Ale discovered her "pick gremlin." It was Dany!
Great reaction! I liked your insight and input. 🤘
The behind the scenes, and the after movies, are great too. Yes please check out some of those.
The after movie form the mtv video music awards would be great to watch after Ale's gear rundown. (Fuimos a la Red Carpet de los VMA's - The Warning (New Jersey, USA) Aftermovie)
great stuff
The behind the scenes stuff would be great, thanks.
Aftermoovies all The way...
⚡🤘⚡🤘⚡🤘
Thanks for another Warning Gear Masters - as a bass player of 40 years (see avatar!), I love these! Cheers, Andy - UK
If it’s The Warning and you record it, I’m there 🤘🤘⚡️⚡️
Yap through the whole thing. It's why I tune in. Awesome stuff as usual!
❤️⚡⚡
When Pau says she’s a "very hard hitter", she’s actually being modest.

Oh yeah, that one is a classic!
Yes! Check out more behind the scenes ones. They just released one of DPA playing "Truth or Drink". At one point, Dany is laughing so hard she says "I[m gonna pee my pants!" Man, the way things are going, you'll end up watching Pau bake a cake and having a great time 😄😄
Love all the vlogs !! We are here for it all !! Do Atlas Rise from the Whiskey
Very cool rundown of her gear - cool that you have similar taste in gear!
Her snare is perfect! She’s a brilliant songwriter. The band is excellent! God is in the details 🤘🕊❤️🤘⚡️⚡️⚡️
I love Paulina so much. Seriously though how could you not? She's so little and cute and fierce all at the same time.
🤘

She's technically savvy doesn't just play she knows her shit too

My Pic Gremlin always puts mine in the washing machine. 😂
PAU is a fucking dynamite, my friend! Artist to 360°, in playing drums, direct electronics, singing, writing ... "Que mas Quieres"??? 🤣
when u said u play back in black on drums, you would love to see the warning's cover of back in black where Pau sings it
Mayday in the making.. 6 short videos 1-6 is an Awesome Documentary thingy.. from babies to now..
Must watch for anyone who really wants to know more about the sisters.
Watch the May Day documentary first .That gives you an idea where they came from .
14:02 Not at the time this video was made, but now Paulina is officially a dw artist.
About friggin TIME!!🤘⚡🥁
Thank you for doing this. I love their extra content, so if you react to it, I’ll watch it!
Sir, If you reacted to Dany reading the phone book, I would watch it!
She hits those drums like they owe her money .
02:30 she's a drummer she can't keep her hands still 😁
I kind of think it's the other way around. She couldn't keep her hands still, so she became a drummer.
I saw a piece where they're all talking about a show or writing or something. As the 3 of them are figuring who's who, Dany the rock star, Alé the quiet on and Pau, as Alé says "like that Muppet" and Dany chimed in, oh you mean Animal?
I think she attacks her drums like John Bonham attacked his drums.
There is an older one of these from the cave and she explains the computer, and who hears what in the inears.
"She has the 'Hey, I actually made it in music' version."🤣 That's hilarious, but hey, you work with what you can afford, and if your music does good, you upgrade accordingly!😉
Pau!! 🔥🤘
Pau is Awesome
Pau hits hard! Ask Kathy! 😆🤘🏼❤️🔥🤘🏼 (Truth or Drink RUclips vid)
I'm not sure you can use them but Dicodec (reactor/musician) has Pedal Board videos for Kanami (Band-Maid) and Miyako (Lovebites).
👍👍 !!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Pau now has a second snare she uses ,placed next to her left hip . .
Cant remember the song where she uses both .. .
The song she uses the second snare is Burnout.

Pau has also punched a hole on the snare.

Should be named Powlina haha
