If you check out London's skyline and buildings as depicted on hyper realistic renderings, the weather has been changed even further!
It's sunny and clear.... O_O
ahahaha
Yep for once
My reaction when I saw those renders of Suzhou (city in Jiangsu, one of the richest cities in China).
Blue sky, white clouds.
What a change
/s
Weeell, I think this summer had very few rains and a ton of sun.
Oh it's Marco, Tech YES B1M!
Fred Mills great narration makes us fall in love with The B1M even more.❤
His voice is amazing
His body
He's also fuckin' STACKED
Hello Pecs Mills🤯✋🤚
hes fucking jacked 🤤
It was 36 degrees Celsius the day we filmed this 😓
Another normal day in Taiwan at 36°C around the beautiful Taipei 101 building.
And you look even better sweaty, Fred! Sorry; couldn't resist.
Be glad you weren't next to the concave building while the sun's reflected heat burns everything on the ground.
That's not hot. Come to India. 🇮🇳🔥
That's boiling for Britain
I could watch paint dry if Fred was narrating it...
lol...
Yes Lucas 👍
Lucky Munsingwear! 🐧
More on-screen time for Fred please!

Since I was a kid I always imagined London to be a gritty, smog-choked city with old, soot-covered buildings. When I visited in 2018 I was blown away on how clean and modern this city is. Luv you, London.
Yes, so much of its image as projected in mass media seems to be grey, grim and depressing, yet I see a piece like this and think "it actually looks quite nice" :D I might visit this year.
It was very dirty back in the day.
I remember visiting as a kid and they were cleaning years of grime off the old buildings, they were black and the cleaning revealed the sandstone colours.
Now the coal has gone and even diesel being phased out in the city it is getting cleaner.
That's why it's known as the BIG SMOKE
It's my favourite of London, Paris, and New York. All great though.
@@JohnnyZenith I agree. It's my favourite also.
It would be amazing to watch a timelapse of London from the very beginning.
If only the Romans had set it up
@@TheB1M Its possible to recreate the timelapse in 3d with significant funding - have a look at the capabilities of the lateset unreal engine. Machinimatic!
@@TheB1M If only. Seriously though, thanks for the upload. Great as always.
Probably a few grass huts.
Ooh
never thought I would pay more attention to the host's arms than the content in this channel
It's no wonder since this guy lifts the whole weight of B1M as a channel 😂
Arms? Yeah I saw those too, but it was the chest that mesmerized me. I am sure he knows he has those assets, because we saw so much of him in a t-shirt. He has worked hard to get them, but some guys bust their hump in the gym and that never happens. I am happy for him, nice reward. Maybe next time he do a video about beach development and be in swimwear.
Caden Grace 😂
@@cadengrace5466
😂
@@cadengrace5466 ...great idea!❤️ May I suggest speedo briefs?
We hope this video blows you away.
making puns about the wind is a breeze
this made me audibly cringe...
Thank you very much for these efforts in making content❤
Every video motivates me.
I like this channel.
Nice one
Because of the wind?
Fred has gotten jacked in quarantine.
I remember when leaving London in 2010 the shard was being constructed now look at London it is unbelievable how the city has changed for the better.
You should do a video on the booming Manchester ;)
Theres a program on the bbc about it called Manctopia
@@Mufcforever-sl2gf highly recommend it!
IT'S ज्ञान 4 YOU for an European city IT IS impressive trust me ! Compared to Munich cologne Brussels for example cities similar in pop and size
@IT'S ज्ञान 4 YOU Well aren't you a ray of sunshine. Cheer up old chap 😄
Glory Glory Man United yes i saw it but i was a tiny bit disappointed because they focus on the people and less on the development properly. I would have loved to see more architects talking about the urban development than talking about the sensitive issue related to social logement .
"This is A SKYSCRAPER VIDEO"
"The B1M, this is the 7th week in a row you've shown a skyscraper video in class"
Last week's video wasn't about skyscrapers?
Shanghai has skyscrapers, can that count?
Skyscraper? I thought this was about Fred’s byceps.
@@TheB1M Make a Skyscraper Review in every countries?
0:07 WOW, I wasn’t expecting the narrator to look like that . The temperature changed in my room as well 🥵🔥🔥🌡😩😩❤️
In case anyone was distracted by Fred and his shirt, this was something about London’s skyline.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I wondered why the video of him kept getting interrupted by buildings. 🤩
💀lol
Lol
"Here in London, not only has the skyscraper changed the climate on the streets below, the increased size of my biceps has changed the climate of intimacy at my flat."
Wow this host dude has a body to be proud of, jeez!
Love from Malaysia.Well done B1M!
Best channel ever
Omg thanks for hearting my comment!
Agreed
He looks like if a boxer and a rugby player had a child, but sounds like he works at the BBC.
Could have never imagined that a man built like that could have such a soothing voice
Can you do a skyline change for Manchester. It sounds silly but there’s been loads of new skyscrapers in Manchester. There’s even a program about the boom in property on bbc.
Awesome Isaac 1 - Watched it last night. Very interesting.
Agreed. I know it's not the capital but it is a damn great city. It would be excellent if you did a video on it. Examples: Victoria Park was the first purpose built suburb to any city, very Victorian; Trafford Park is Britain's largest industrial area; the BBC moved most of there operations up here. Etc etc. Other people please add more.
Yes as a Londoner Manchester looks impressive Shame like down here not for all ,I remember Manchester for orange and white buses and Granada Tv back in the day
i was blown away by people so close to the centre with such cheap rents!
Yeah i saw that programme. Quite interesting how the property market has changed in greater Manchester
I was focusing on Fred’s arms like the whole time lmfao
I work in this part of London. It is absolutely INSANE how high the winds get in Leadenhall and Fenchurch Street in particular. I think we have probably just about had enough of these phallic palaces. Also nice pecs dude. YOLKED.
I love London's informal street layout. It forces more architecturally unique skyscrapers, if this comes with a bit of wind, I'm fine with it
A sensible amd mature comment.
This channel has made me fall in love with skyscrapers
i love skyscrapers, but when you're in frame there's only one eye candy i can look at...
I love the thirsty comments because it's true
This is, in all seriousness, the earliest I've been to a B1M video. Always a big fan!
Hello!! 👋 Thanks so much for watching!
Amazing presentation and what a beautiful way to explain the topic with superb shot
In the end it was a very useful information which most of us always ignore when we are thinking about skyscrapers
okay i need to focus back on the skyscrapers of London topic after seeing you in the intro.
My Sky garden experience was unforgettable!
Good Afternoon Fred & Co! Keep up the great content! 👍🏻
I love the blend of historic and modern buildings in the city. I wish the video was longer. I enjoy your videos more than so many movies. Keep it up, Fred!
And now they’re all empty because everyone’s working from home 🤣
It was VERY quiet when we filmed this
@@TheB1M I work in Cannon Street, right next to the Royal Exchange. Those sights in the morning as you walk out from the tube are absolutely stunning. Can't wait to go back to the office!
People should be able to live closer to their place of work
@@finnersmcspeed5646 I just moved to a place 3 mins away on foot from my office. And I'm from London. I'm a winner.
@@TheB1M What are your thoughts on how this pandemic will impact office construction in London as people can work remotely and companies no longer see the benefits of paying high inner-city leasing costs? I live in NYC and there are discussions on this.
Ah, love this channel! 😍 Thanks for the great content, Fred.
I LOVED THIS VIDEO! it was so nice to see Fred! Love this video format!
Love these videos looking at the issues, people don't often think about in cities and how externalities play into this.
This is great, B1M!
Love your channel. 🧡⭐ Always fascinating videos.
I'm always thrilled when a new vid comes out to see and learn something new.
I wouldn't doubt you guys will tour different cities around the world to see different layouts of the cities and how climate, geography, and topography influence city design.
Great video. Here in the states, namely New York City, with the new residential buildings having been built and with the pandemic,New Yorkers are moving out leaving empty buildings.
I love the design of the skyscrapers there in London
"The Gerkin" (30 St Mary Axe - Foster and Partners) is a great and unique modern skyscraper design, which has now been lost in the hum drum crowd. Ho hum.
That's the building that was London. Now it's just blank goofy drinking glasses. ho-hum
Thats unfortunate, that building was pretty
yep, dwarfed amougst the mass of mediocraty
Well done, another great production. Keep them coming :)
Brilliant video once again. Thank you, Sir!
Thanks once again mate
We need Fred Mills' own personal channel, showing his workouts, his routines, etc
He has an Instagram. Doesn't post gym selfies or anything, but he's been built since at least 2013.
Great video, as always
As always Superb job😊
Want to see more of you...
Luv your content. Kepp it up!!😊
NOOOOO YOU GOT RID OF THE ENDINGGGGG 😥😥 You are no longer the definitive construction channel on youtube in my eyes smh
I was thinking the exact same thing when I watched the ending!
Cause now we are that channel! ;) haha ok maybe soon :)
Wait you mean when he says “ subscribe to definitive channel for construction” ???
@@gkennedy0969 Watch some of his other vids brah 😂
I love that your videos always get posted right as I wake up
Great work, would love to see more videos about London.
Interesting fact about St. Paul's cathedral: due to the sight lines regulations, it is visible all the way from Richmond Park
London is making amazing progress love to whole team @The B1M
Wow, I never expected Fred to be THIS jacked! I have always pictured Fred as more of a formal, businessman-like person in the voiceovers haha.
Well done, such an informative piece!
I don't think the micro-climate is responsible for the lack of an active street life in the City - I think it's the lack of any hospitable atmosphere altogether
That and nobody lives in the area
i was in london last week and stayed in a hotel 2 minutes away from The Tower. Canon street and Eastcheap are full with offices (with few pubs). No reason why people would stay there after business hours to be honest. Those who dine in the Shard or Sky Garden would just go there and back .. street life would be more in the other side of the river .
One of the most significant effects of the pandemic is the decrease in demand after office space and increase in distance work. These will probably be lasting effects. Maybe it's better to take care of the already existing buildings or expand the parks. Make the city more resilient against flooding.
thanks for the video.
Very educational video, one of the best channel on RUclips
love you team "the B1M" from Bangladesh. 😍
The best construction channel ever
Amazing video and super interesting topic
Well done B1M
Great vid. Cheers for the brevity.
Skyscrapers are fascinating. I wish more skyscrapers would be built in South Africa where I live
No you really dont. Theyre crap. They add nothing but eye sores
@@Ozblu3y yeap. I am currently living in Sao Paulo and the city is ugly af, skyscrapers everywhere. Just Google it and you'll see what I mean, even the architecture is horrible (just gray boxes)
@@Forlfir Yeah. Skyscrapers can be done right but... also can't be, they just cost too much to be made in an architecturally considerate way.
20 Fenchurch St is an embarrassment. Wish the main cluster would blow it down.
Great video once again.
B1M never fail to show good contents. Please, make more video about London, I'm so much interest to know about London urbanism, thank u 😉🙏
Fred Mills in front of the screen, is this really happening? LOL!.!. Let me give this video a like!.!.
I swear these videos are the only thing that’s helping me get threw lockdown❤️
Same here
lockdown? what's that?
Fantastic video! I had no idea that the buildings were effecting the weather in London! Great stuff as always mate! :)
Hi and another great video.
Fred's pec make the weather surrounding me warmed considerably 🥵
You should do a video on Leeds, which has expanded massively recently
Awesome video!
Love your videos B1M ❤️
London my dream city
I lived there, it's nightmare 😂. Terrrrible infrastructure. Takes 1 hour to drive 10 miles. Horrible roads and traffic, bad weather. Moving back to Germany felt like a blessing
emp_ muneeb like the weather in Germany is much better😂
@@steved797 ikr
It's a fantastic city, love it.
@@JohnyG29 how, it's expensive, noisy, terrible traffic and infrastructure. What's there not to hate about London.
I ❤️ this channel! Love from Spain 🇪🇸
Great video!
Excellent video. And. Great city. Love London. I hope travel soon
How to take advantage of the design:
#1: Direct all wind flow into a single point far away from people.
#2: Add a wind turbine on the area or attach a wind turbine to the skyscraper.
#3: Profit!! (free electricity)
This is actually genius
Although it's a good idea it will be super loud since when turbines generate a lot of noise
I love london ❤️
Looking pretty fit bro keep up the great work, Cheers from Australia!
Awesome video, this is the content I signed up for
me ignoring everything about this other than the snack that is Fred.
I want him to point at the buildings shirtless like a bodybuilder posing 🤤
I’m curious what’s under that shirt too 🤣
I like how quite the city is and the nice wind sounds in the video!
Maaaaaaaaaaan these videos are top shelf 💯
Nice seeing you in the videos also. I look forward to the next one.
Edit - this man's a unit.
We were in London in February and the wind almost made walking to our hotel impossible. It's for real!
(As an aside, I like the content but I find the persistent background music is unnecessary, too taste-specific at that volume balance.)
It's too bad there's a pandemic going on, I rather like these less dramatic and more conversational videos. Would love to see a series like this in different cities like Toronto, Milan, Vienna, Dublin...
I love it how immersed i'm into arquitecture i am now, thanks to this channel!!
You deserve more than just a subscription
Not sure why I'm surprised that the guy who runs a construction channel is built, but I am 😳
It's kind of sad when you visit Primrose Hill and all you can see are the skyscrapers instead of London's historic monuments :(
another great video
Very beautiful London ♥ Amazing London
I thought that his voice getting help by google, I'm quite surprise tho.
The skyline sucks so bad that the wind is trying to blow the buildings down
i love this channel so much.
London’s skyscrapers are very beautiful imo. It really contributes to a unique skyline.
The only channel where i dont skip ads.
what ads?
And now they are empty because everybody is working from home
Good one. The new normal?
And moving out of London because of brexit

@Jay Saenz It's not. Although I think the majority voted to stay in the EU.
