I tried to do one similar. The catch was the players were orphan child laborers working as repo men.

The Eclipse Phase game is the closest thing that I found.
You can literally be employees indentured to a company, told to raid exoplanets, and encounter horrors like that. Your mind is backed up to a server, and if you die, they will restore your backup into whatever cheap body (with a chemical dependence for upkeep)... and then charge you for the body.
Even if you escape from the company, and get a body that isn't dependent on a company provided chemical... as long as they have a backup of you.... they will just make another you.
Post Scarcity SciFi horror at its greatest.

I think you could probably do one quite well if you added or used some existing mechanics, as well as keep it fairly low level to make enemies more threatening

How would a worg work as a player character in dnd? We can extrapolate that a worgs natural armor is +2 ac by subtracting its dexterity modifier from its armor class (13 - 1 = 12) and assuming 10 is the base ac of unarmored player characters with a dex modifier of 0, we subtract 10 from 12 hence a worgs +2 ac as natural armor.
Now I have a really stupid concept of a monk/blade singer wizard that is a worg. Worgs have a bite attack that does 2d6 piercing + ability modifier for attack rolls: so with a monk dip dexterity would be the ability modifier for attack roll. Now, if we be cheesy: couldn't you argue that a bite is an unarmed attack? So at level 1, a monk worg would deal 2d6 + dex mod (piercing) x 2 ? Or would a level one monk worg bap something with its paw as an unarmed strike?
Next part, how would spell casting work as a worg? Would they need to only use the verbal component or what?
So the concept of blade singer worg with a monk dip is so it can be good offensively in melee and good for utility. I would say sorcerer worg makes more sense as the creature is a monstrosity and sorcerers could of got their casting ability from an experiment... but a worg wearing a wizard hat feels right for some reason. Hence bladesinger monk worg.

    Hey Cinder,
How would you stat out a flying car with a sound based attack?
My players have started to expect a lot of homebrew from my games, so when they encountered a gangster flying around the neighborhood blasting music, they expected him to somehow utilize that in combat, and went out of their way to prepare for it. I didn't have anything prepared, and I'm still not sure how I would represent that that. They wound up facing him on the ground, so it didn't come up, but he got away and I'd like to have something prepared for when they face him again.

I’d give him a feature where he can activate it to cast a version of the spell “thunderwave” from the car

Hay cinder, i was thinking of getting rid of prepered spells, i like the spell point systems, and if they are already limited to what thay can do by points is there relly any benefits to preparing spells they have already learned. Now, to me, it feels like they can use all they spell at the right time without feeling penalized and feel cool. am i crazy ?
