Fills are improvised, basically just creating a nice little lick within the chord while filling in the gap.

Great playing and structure for breaking down a pop song. It seems like you’re doing more with your left hand than just arpeggios- maybe different inversions too? I’m a noob and would love more detail there.

one thing I do that helps me figure that out is tapping my fingers while listening to the song and the beat

There's a BPM counter you can find online. Just tap to the beat of the song for a couple measures and it will tell you the bpm.

Probably the most basic understanding of music theory will help.

@@iceandfire6421 Sometimes the simpler, the better. I usually play the 1-5-1. Never do a 1-3-5-1 arp. Sounds too elementary.
