I had a day-off, and I spent most of it on that video taking notes. It's just amazing how helpful it is for beginners like me. I feel I can build a strong and clear foundation thanks to you instead of jumping into orchestral composition having actually no idea what I'm doing! Before moving on, I'll review my notes tomorrow, and try to apply what I learned so that I can assimilate it and transform that knowledge into a new tool for my future compositions. Thank you so much!
Hi Alex I listened to a lot of orchestrating videos but I think yours are one of the best I’m less than an amateur but I can see that you are extremely melodic your rendering is really naturalAll the chords sound so beautiful you really know what you are doing I did not check your personal information but I hope that you have a good job in music because you’re very talented I am going to check up on your profile to see what you are doing I began to compose music just one year ago with BBC Symphony Orchestra core and cakewalk I would like to learn so much more Continue your excellent job!
Fantastic video and a great way to learn. I really enjoy all of the examples and variations. It's very helpful. My only problem is that it takes me quite a while to get through the videos since I keep stopping to try out each approach. 😁. Thanks!
Same here, I've spent my day just on that video! 😆 But for sure it's way better to watch just a few videos and practice a lot rather than watching thousands of videos and never applying what you learned. You can read ten grammar books about a foreigner language, you'll still be unable to speak, while someone else might have just basic grammar patterns and speak effectively.
Interesting, I remember that Blizzard Entertainment made a reorchestration from a piano song, written by Frédérique Chopin: ruclips.net/video/rHBkRWlW2ns/видео.html This song can be heard in certain parts of the famous video game World of Warcraft.
I come back to watch these videos every now and then cause they are prize-worthy.
Thanks, that's so great to hear!
Thank youuu. Cheers from Jakarta, Indonesia! ❤

Wow. Thank you. I try myself at cinematic orchestration for about a half year but I don't have ideas. That inspired and motivated me so much.

This is awesome Alex, this is definitely something I want to learn more about

Awesome videos. I think a lot of composers in the days of DAW's and VST's don't consider arrangement as deeply as they should.
Thanks! Glad you like them!
wonderful! Great content and I love that you're using Berlin strings (my favourite lib). Cheers!
