    I can't comment on HDPiano videos (no Facebook) but thank you so much for what you do - it's been invaluable for a guy who hasn't played the piano for many years and is picking it back up again. This was long over due! For those who want more out of playing bring more of this! Theory on song can help you or what i usually say is help you quicker around the learning curve. After you join this ( HD Piano ) along with the songs you learn a short 4 min theory a long to help you learn the song or something that has to do with the song, not all people want or need this but just a line like at the end of the lesson, 3 mins of theory. just an idea because a huge volume of beginners & intermediate player come to learn and would appreciate it instead of have to looking around ( on youtube ) for tutorials on theory! JUST SAYIN!

    Enjoyed this video! Hey Devon, maybe you could do one on what it means for a chord progression to be “resolved” ...or answer any way you like. I understand the sound when I hear it. Just not the technical side 🤔

    • @HDpiano
      @HDpiano  7 лет назад +1

      Ahh, good question! A resolution in music is simply when a dissonant tone travels to a non-dissonant tone. E.g. Csus - C

    Thx,this chord progression is unreal,sometimes i practice it while relaxed,but i didnt realise this is one of the ways to improve my composition skills..i will practice more i guess,just having perfect pitch hearing is useless if i didnt gain more knowledge and practice..i did study until grade 8 piano,but composition is a whole different world,im practicing to start my own piano channel

    I noticed how common the Pop Clave is. The biggest thing about that rhythm is that it is frequently used as a Samba rhythm. How I count it out is 1 a-2, 1 a-2. Or 1 a-2, 3 a-4. Or when counting out for moves like Voltas, 1 a-2 a-3 a-4.
