Indian Knowledge system is a great initiative by Indian government in the direction of making India "Vishwaguru", and we need people with deep understanding of the subject like Dr. Laxmidhar Behera for its successful implementation.

Muslims say Mughals made India rich. But the reality is Mughals rule started in India from 1526. And in the 14th century, Europeans (Columbus) were searching for a sea route to India because India was already rich. On 20th May 1498, Vasco da Gama reached India. Mughal rule started in India in 1526.

Marvelous! Simply marvelous! Truth! Absolute truth! The question of richness of Indian system of knowledge, bhakti and consciousness is beyond any argument. A preacher, guru or religious scholar can spend years in explaining this immense wealth of Bharat . But, successfully advocating the strength of this concept plus the idea of life experience and real goodness, in contrast with the popular idea that considers science as the synonyms of advancement, by a top scientist, is unprecedented. Bou down !

The part where they discussed "Are we advanced today" was the most amazing one to hear.
The way we are progressing more and more into Kalyug, the sense of morality, truthfulness, mental and physical strength all are decreasing.
Just because we have now got more advanced materialistic technology, doesn't mean we humans are evolved or advanced!!

Instead, the time has come to develop a new model of science rooted in the Indian Knowledge System and give to the world that is not in Western science. Dr. Behera's contribution could be a great leap in this direction.

Indian knowledge system is complete in itself. But it is the euro centric thoughts , which does not let Europeans think beyond themselves.
It is professors like him and many others Indian scholars who should put forward their ideas that our knowledge system is far older but advance and scientifically more correct. … I am a History Teacher and sometimes I feel that what I am teaching in my class to my students is wrong because most of the knowledge comes from India, but we are always teaching that Europeans have found all these concepts.
Thank you, Abhijeet Sir. It is people like you whose efforts will definitely bear fruits and future Student should understand how we were more progressive and not Europeans.

With due respect, I find myself in disagreement with the professor on several points. While it is true that certain periods in history may have presented developments that could have offered an alternative perspective to modern scientific thought, the reality is that this trajectory was lost. Though revisiting such ideas could be worthwhile, it should not stem from the belief that the current scientific outlook is inferior. Such a mindset is particularly detrimental to young scientific minds. As a society, it is essential to remain competitive with the global community in every area of endeavor, as this is how societies survive and flourish. Thank you for the podcast and pranam to "Prof. Laxmidhar Behera".
