Making some notes to help myself with my shopping list: Armor: Assassins with Berserker Helmet and Chest. Armor runes: Superior Infiltration (more precision) Spear: Berserker stats, sigil of impact, sigil of force Off Hand: Sword Berserker stats, sigil of impact Infusions: mighty/power Trinket mix: Mostly Assassins, One Ring and One Accessory should be Berserker Relic of the Claw If off hand focus is desired, recommend with Relic of Fireworks Other relic to use (you may already have) Relic of Thief is solid
I used to play this way back when it was sword sword / greatsword and still play it to this day with now dagger and the super flowy spear. My favorite build and class ever, only qdps I’d pick outside of this would be untamed
@@Joshua.Olawole That is very weird as you get those boons the exact same way. There is not a single difference. You get it by shattering and by creating phantasms. SO if you do your rotation correctly you should get the same results. There are two possible explanations though: 1) You have the wrong trait equipped 😆 and you get alac from someone else but the more likely option is 2) that you interrupt your own attacks/casts as you do not have quickness (permanently) and don't do your rotation fast enough so to say. Try to train it on a golem in the lionsarch aerodrome so that you can see if it is the other supporters fault and not yours. But always try to finish casting your phantasm skills! I hope that helps 😊
Thank you for posting this. Although I am still working on my Willbender play... I want to get back to my GW1 roots and try to play Mesmer in this game. I recently watched a video with Homage3 and BerryBadMesmer, and concluded that Chronomancer is the variant I would like to try. So, this "How To" video is going to be absolutely perfect to help me get things set up for my new character. Hopefully, I can learn how to play better in PvP and WvW situations... But at least I will know I'm running a build that works and issues I bump into will be related to myself learning how to play the Chronomancer.
Thanks for the video. I main a mesmer and it's been a while since I tried Chrono. Been using virtuoso for quite a while now. I miss the clones tho. :D Def going to try this out.
Of course! You will carry your allies around you with boons and lots of damage, just be aware that you can't tank every single boss/mob attack as you do not have unlimited self-healing.

Perfect! Yeah, it's a little complicated on the gear side, but once you have it set up once, it plays so smoothly!

Yeah, same, it was fun with the old build, but got even better with spear!
This is a really good guide! much appreciated man, it really helped me to properly grasp how boon chrono works!
Glad it helped :)
@@SyrmaGaming any tips for upkeeping alac? quickness seems to be fine but alac drops often.

Can we run open world easy enough with this?
