You have given hope to all those who GAVE up hope wanting to practice Kriya yoga but unable to get a teacher or initiation. Your instructions very clear precise and simple to understand. May GOD bless you SIR!
I have been on a spiritual path for the last 20 years and after a long and often frustrating journey became determined to learn Kriya yoga. I quickly discovered however that finding information on the actual techniques was not easy. As an answer to my prayer I suppose, I found this channel and listened to several of your videos and immediately knew you were exactly what I was looking for. I bought your book Continuing the Lineage and The Eternal Way by Mr. Davis. You have helped me immeasurably and I just wanted you to know how truly grateful I am.
Your being disrespectful to the lineage of kriya yoga and it's gurus that lived their lives through selfless action come on man gurus are nessesary because people could waste their entire life doing the wrong thing for the wrong reason.
Ryan, As a fallen away 65 year old SRF-er, also somewhat cynical -- I "out-of-the-blue" did a RUclips search for Kriya yoga last October 2018, and finding your videos and your honest demeanor has reignited my meditation practice and lifted my seriousness to a new high. I have had Roy Davis' books at my bedside table and have found your video discussions with him also very inspirational. My experience is very similar Patrick! I was an SRF student around 1980. I left SRF and explored different paths, eventually landing in Shin Buddhism (which I still practice). I found this very video which introduced me to Roy Eugene Davis. I loved his books and a very Buddhistic and practical approach. I wrote to him and he sent my a DVD to consider as my initiation into Kriya, although in a very real way, this RUclips video by Ryan was my Kriya initiation and changed my life! Since Mr Davis's passing Ryan is my primary source for Kriya information and inspiration. I highly recommend Ryan's books as well.
Same here, Patrick. 69 and found Ryan several months ago. Refreshing, honest, knowledgeable, authentic teacher who inspires me to resume the practices. Also appreciated a newer more relaxed, flexible, intuitive, creative addition to the practices and lifestyle rather than a rigid by-the-book dogmatic one.
Thank you! Seeing those words visually, made me understand what I miss if I don't take this practice seriously! As have been said, all tools, you do the work as Creator your own unique way🙏🏻💯💜
Thank you for this instruction on kriya yoga techniques. I just read Yogananda's autobiography and became intrigued about kriya yoga. I appreciate it when clear instructions are given and you did this very well, Ryan. I look forward to incorporating this into my life and trying to achieve a heightened awareness. The autobiography was amazing. I love how the masters and gurus (like Babaji) were appearing all over the place following their deaths. I thought only Jesus had done this.
And the fact that they can dematerialize and rematerialize at will at any number of locations through time is quite remarkable to those of us who know nothing about it.
Namaste. I am deeply grateful for your videos. They are very clear and come from a very pure source, I think many more people would practice Kriya Yoga if it was more accessible, but the teachings seem to be quite obscure, preventing one from fully embracing this path. This is unfortunate because I feel it is ideal for many westerners as it is so systematic and straightforward. I thank you for your seva, for making these sacred techniques more accessible to the sincere seeker.
Excellent. Yes. Keep it simple. I do plan on doing some extended meditation sequences in a few weeks. One will be a short 30 minute sequence using the above mentioned techniques. The other will be longer guided meditation for those interested in going deeper into the practice.
Thank you! We indeed don't need to travel far to get the spiritual practice. Some say, the place you live in is the best place for you to rise you consciousness. Your Soul with Higher Beings have choosen this place in very deliberate way. Even if there are obstacles these are the divine steps for the consciousness and for cleansing the Soul.
I just finished trying this technique. I wasn't sure if i was doing right or wrong but something, an energy was flowing through my spine from root chakra to crown chakra. the vibration i felt in my body was amazing. Thank you so much Sir. Grateful. I have been looking for the kriya yoga techniques like an insane.
You are a great Guru. You are clearly explaining the techniques for a beginner. I am sure a lot of practice is required to even get to basic breathing and visualization. I feel a guru like you would be necessary to get the process correct. If we get something wrong, it becomes a regular part of our practice. Thank you for sharing this video.🙏🙏🙏
Thanks very much for sharing these "private techniques" from SRF. I did their at home lessons but did not get initiation into kriya yoga because they wanted a contract to only follow their methods where I prefer to take nuggets from multiple sources. Great and simple explanation.
For about the last 10 months I have been using the HeadSpace guided meditation app. It has helped me calm & quiet my mind - find peace and happiness. But I am beginning to out grow that app - as I’ve grown, the spoken guidance is becoming a distraction rather than the necessary aid it was in the beginning. Now I play quiet meditation back ground music - or nothing - but use the Insight Timer app to time/end my meditation. I greatly enjoyed this helpful video - I feel that I’ve gotten to a place where I can begin learning & practicing Kriya Yoga Meditation. Thank you Ryan 🙏
Namaskaram 🙏🏽thank you for offering these techniques. I am a certified yoga instructor and i would like to add that the root, navel, and throat locks are Bandhas. At 8:05 when pulling the current up, do you need to visualize each chakra (point) individually as the sensation rises up, or do you simply visualize the spine (channel) as a whole?
Thanks for the video, I appreciate the detail you go into describing the practices, as that is something that has always hampered me following less in-depth descriptions, wondering whether I am doing them exactly right, or whether there is something I am missing.
Ryan Kurzcak thank you so much. I loved your video and the way you have explained all the points. Thank you much. I pray that I am sincere in everything I do.
I decided to learn what kriya yoga is about and watched Corey’s video and KRS mentioning about it too. I got curious when I saw your video popped up. It is amazing process and looks like my journey started. Thank you very much for the video, this is helpful.
Yes, but you will not find it from among the followers of SRF or disciples of Yoganandaji. You need to search out the householder disciples of Lahiri Mahasaya in India, in particular the few who are authorised to teach it.
Ryan - Just one question - I have watched Kriya techniques where people breath through the nose vice breathing through the mouth. The original technique that I learned from SRF has people breathing through the mouth - both the in-breath and out-breath. The in-breath is an almost a HA sound feeling the cool air moving through the back of the throat. The exhale is an 'EEE' sound with the exhalation of warmer air - again through the mouth. It's been a while since I have read the SRF lessons on this (I don't have the original lessons anymore). I just wanted to confirm what I remember. I prefer the mouth breathing vice the nose breathing. Comments? Suggestions?
This stuff is very instinctual. Like I just now got interested in kriya and it's breathing so this is the first video I'm watching. I've been doing these techniques as a kid, just using energy... the breathing and constricting throat is used when I'm amassing energy. I call it Black Sun Breathing... like this is cool. I wonder how many of the techniques I was taught while meditating as a kid by my inner selves is actually forms of yoga
I just realized I was using the same breathing technique as a teenager to draw in energy from the Earth, then I'd hold it and release it suddenly out my head while visualizing broken/flickering streetlights turning on...and it worked. I'm sure the average person would think I'm nuts but I did it hundreds, if not thousands of times and I know what I experienced. I didn't have any structured way of working with energy so I did what somehow felt natural.
Ryan I am so grateful for these videos. Can I ask 2 questions please? Firstly, on the exhales, is it through nose or mouth. Secondly I have been practising kundalini meditation and yoga for a year and a half now daily 4-6am. But am keen to pick up Kriya yoga Would you still advise starting with alternate nostril for 6 months or do you think going straight in with this method would be ok? Not looking to rush and want to do things properly. Just interested in your opinion. Many thanks again. Sam.
How I Practice Kriya Pranayama Steps of Kriya Pranayama: 1. Sit comfortably in a seated position, ensuring your spine is straight, shoulders are back and dropped away from the neck, and your neck is slightly tilted downward. 2. Gently look upward toward the third eye. 3. Constrict your throat to narrow the airflow, then inhale through your nose while visualizing and sensualizing a cool liquid ascending within your spine all the way to the crown chakra. 4. Exhale through your mouth, making an “EEEE” sound, while visualizing and sensualizing a warm/hot liquid descending back down within your spine. PS: You do not visualize the spine at all-not any part of it, not even the inside of it. Your focus is solely on visualizing and sensualizing the liquid as it moves within the spine. My Journey with Kriya Pranayama In the past, my kundalini awakening went terribly wrong, and I was taken into the depths of hell. Over time, I began meditating, and that helped a ton. I than discovered Kriya Pranayama and learned that it’s considered THE meditation for kundalini. Also In my opinion, that is absolutely true. When I began practicing Kriya Pranayama, I found it helped me tremendously. Unfortunately, I had to stop for certain reasons, but I’m actively working on resolving those issues now. There’s nothing I want more than to return to this practice, as it brought immense relief and progress. I’ve noticed that no matter how many rounds I do-whether it’s just one or ten-the practice is highly beneficial. Of course, the more rounds I do, the better the results. My Questions 1. Can I practice this technique whenever I want, and can I vary the number of reps? For example, could I do five reps in one session, two reps later in the day, and ten reps at night? 2. Can I do multiple sessions in a day? For example: • On some days, I might do four sessions of two rounds each. • Other days, I might do two sessions of ten rounds each. • Sometimes, I may do three sessions with four rounds each. 3. Should I use Mula Bandha (Kegel)? This teacher said that Mula Bandha is used to stimulate kundalini. Since my goal is not to stimulate kundalini but to use prana to clear the pathways, should I avoid Mula Bandha altogether? 4. Should I hold my breath at the crown or exhale immediately? As I understand it, I should bring the liquid back down immediately after it reaches the crown. This is because a teacher mentioned that messing with the crown can call up kundalini. So I want to engage with the crown as least as possible. Is it correct to exhale and bring the liquid down right away? 5. Why do some people visualize going around the back of the head or to the middle of the forehead? • This doesn’t make sense to me, as the Ajna (third eye) chakra is located in the center of the head, not in the back or the middle of the forehead. • The Sushumna Nadi runs through the center of the spine, up through the Ajna chakra (in the middle of the head), and then to the crown chakra. Clarification When practicing Kriya Pranayama, isn’t it correct that the prana should travel up through the spine, into the center of the head (Ajna chakra), and then to the crown chakra at the top of the head?
hi Ryan when bringing the current up through the chakras during Kriya pranayama and dhoti mudra, are you also at the same time lightly constricting the root chakra as with the life force arousal technique?
Hey, thank you so Much for this but at one of the places you said to pull the energy up through the spine .. upto the spiritual eye centre - you said “you would like to bring it to the spiritual eye centre” - you would like to ? What’s the actual process ?
Can you please explain when going back down from the 3rd eye you also make the same sound? You just explain go down and feel the warm and soothing. I don’t understand if it is just breathing regular or also tightening throat back down.
I tend to get headaches after doing these exercises daily for a while, which I feel very sad about because other than that I love the soothing feeling in my spine. At the moment how I solve this problem is by attaching an inner chi-gong practice afterwards ( which is breathing up my back through my spine and exhaling down my front body and collecting my chi in my abdomen afterwards) which currently the only solution that elevates the headaches for me. I just wonder if anybody else experiences headaches after spinal breathing Kriya yoga and if there are some other specific Kriya Yoga explanations or/and solutions for this issue. Lots of love. keep up the good work Ryan
Hello amd thank you. I don’t know how to look into the spiritual eye. My eyes hurt and my gaze move around too much…. Do you have advices to solve that? I chose to look on the wall but I would like to do the real practice

Clarification
When practicing Kriya Pranayama, isn’t it correct that the prana should travel up through the spine, into the center of the head (Ajna chakra), and then to the crown chakra at the top of the head?
You can lift to 6th, or 7th chakra, or the base of 6th.
Thank you for putting this out online. Namaste

Can you remake this video showing these techniques while doing them
I don't look like anything in particular, other than a person sitting quietly, so it would not be different.
Great video! Thank you so much.
You're very welcome!
Thank you so very much. This has helped me understand the Kriya breathing.
good
Thank you Ryan

I like this...! Great teacher!

hi Ryan
when bringing the current up through the chakras during Kriya pranayama and dhoti mudra, are you also at the same time lightly constricting the root chakra as with the life force arousal technique?
That will be fine. Gently.
@@KriyaYogaOnline 🙏
Thank you this is amazing.
You're very welcome!
Does kriya pranayama clear all the blockages in the Sushumna, Ida, and Pingala nadis, while also balancing them?
It can help. Must practice all limbs of yoga.
Awesome!! Thank you!
Om.
Salutations to Angel Soul Ryan,
Your teaching is very simple to understand and helpful.
Grateful thank you. :)

Thank you thank you thank you 🙏🙏🙏🌸🧡
You are so welcome
Yo Ryan thanks bro Is it safe if I practice like 10 times a day cuz I’m on holiday or is that too much??? Cuz I’m not tryna get side affects bro🖤🙏🍿😎🏝🎈
twice a day is fine. do the preliminary techniques at other times if you have time and it doesn't interfere with your responsibilities.
Inhalation is through the mouth in both techniques but can you clarify how exhalation is done. Is it through the mouth again or through the nose.
Doesn't matter how it comes out.
Thank you very much 🙏🏽💕🕉
Any time!
WOWOWOW... Must read the book. Thank you
Hope you like it!
I became Kriya Bond in 1973. Your instructions are legit. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
thx
Hey, thank you so
Much for this but at one of the places you said to pull the energy up through the spine .. upto the spiritual eye centre - you said “you would like to bring it to the spiritual eye centre” - you would like to ? What’s the actual process ?
You do it.
Pranam guruji
Thank you very much. You were very clear in explanation. 🙏🙏🙏
Welcome 😊
Wonderful ! Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you too!
Can you please explain when going back down from the 3rd eye you also make the same sound? You just explain go down and feel the warm and soothing. I don’t understand if it is just breathing regular or also tightening throat back down.
Just let the breath out naturally however it flows out.
Working with a bodyworker to help the core relax yet get stronger can help
or do chanting through the chakras for a few years first.
Hello amd thank you. I don’t know how to look into the spiritual eye. My eyes hurt and my gaze move around too much…. Do you have advices to solve that? I chose to look on the wall but I would like to do the real practice
Focus on the heart.
Thank you so much and i consider as your my guru

Thank you Ryan, I have just red Autobiografia di uno Yogi for the first time, thinking why I didn't read before... I will try to walk into this path. I have found an Italian not too far from where I live that has known and initiated by Rev Roy Davis. By the way I am 83 but perhaps it's not too late!🤗😉

Thank you Ryan for the wonderful video. Is there any way this can be practiced by a paraplegic person?
If you can breathe and visualize the process, that is enough
@@KriyaYogaOnline Thank you so much for your reply Ryan, I do really appreciate you for sharing your knowledge and wisdom...God bless!
Hello. Thank you for sharing this technique. I have a question about kryia pranayama- when you breath in through your mouth, do you also breath out from the mouth? Do you use root lock during kryia pranayama and jyoti mudra?
follow as described in this video
Thank you so much. I began SRF Lessons last month, you made it feel just beautiful.
