Hello Darko , I hope you are well and safe. I have an humble LG 55b9. When you are gaming, and you go to the options menu calibrate the HDR luminance for example in sea of thieves or in Shadow of the tomb raider, I mean in the game settings not on the TV, the dinamic tone mapping dims the picture forcing you to choose higher number of peak luminance like 3000 or 4000. Have you ever noticed this? When I Calibrate the game hdr I first turn off DTM and then after calibrated I switch on again. Is this a good procedure?. Thanks and all the best?

@@matthewtrebs9738 Crank upp the brightness on the phone, zoom in the video so it covers the whole screen and let it run for 10-20 min and you'll see the difference during the elapse of the video.

What's the wavey bit near the end?
It is just a dynamic background to help you see dirty screen effect or image retention stuck on the screen.

Hey, this is normal because of RUclips compression - as long as full screen greyscale and colors are clear of any "shadows" or variations, your screen is fine.
The "white" around letters in the beginning is normal?

Pozdrav Darko javio sam se na facebook stranici ali trebao sam mozda bolje ovdje naime u 8 mj ce skoro 2 godine kakonimam oled lg b7 i sinoc sam za vrijeme igranja ps4 dobio iznenadenje od tva u obliku vertical bandiga..
Ima li nacin da se on popravi, probao sam pixel refresh ali i dalje se vidi, sto bi jos mogao pokusati?
Pozdrav Igor! Vertical banding je normalan na OLED TV-ima na tamnim ujednacenim podlogama. Jeste to uocili u takvim scenama ili negdje drugdje? Imate mozda kakav video da vidim tocno kako izgleda.
@@TVguyDarko iskreno do sada nisam imao slicnih problema nego eto jucer se po prvi put prikazalo, inace pokusao sam pokrenuti amazon te netflix i ista je situacija na istom mjestu, imam par slika...navacer kad cu biti potpuni mrak budem snimio vidio pa Vam ga mogu postati na mail ili stavim link na youtube?

I don’t think the guy understands how oleds work but it’s still a good test to check for burn in or frozen/dead pixels fortunately I’m all good

I see this convo thread is a year old now.. But this is the problem my LG-C8 has.. I paid 5,000 N.z for this Tv.. The banding occurred in 2022, 4 years after I bought it.. This is the second LG which capped out after 4 years.. The first one was their 'first' in the world 4K Tv, which also was a 3D 📺 👀.. But I'll never buy LG again.. They should be lasting 10 years without any issues.. I gave my mother a Samsung Full HDTV in 2010, and it is still going, still super clear.. Nō issues. And, me myself, have switched to Sony.. A90. I just need calibration..📺 ☺
How is it possible that the last lower and the upper part of my phone is more bright... I mean... The upper bar okay... But the lower why? I have dark mode on... How was that possible... Google explane this sh*t... How did you produced burn in in the only dark zone of the screen? 🤔
Our eyes are more sensitive to variations in darker areas so this is why you will notice it first. Interesting that lower part of the screen is also brighter - perhaps content was not always covering that area of the screen so it did not wear out as much as the center portion?
